Newer gym with nice equipment and plenty of machines and free weights. Decent membership costs, however not without its drawbacks: The problem is that during the warmer periods, they dont turn the AC to an adequate level and there is ZERO air circulation. No fans. It feels awful. I sweat 10X more than I would elsewhere - everybody sweats more. The equipment might be nice now, but I imagine with as much as people sweat, I suspect the equipment wont be nice for very long. The other issue is the filthy floors. I saw that there were other people complaining about this here, and noticed that not long after they had people cleaning up which helped. But then the cleaning people disappeared and the floors returned to their normal filth. You should see some of the dust bunnies gathered besides some of the machines. If you want to do any floor exercises youll want to pick your spot carefully. In all, the temperature/humidity issue is a deal breaker for me. I also think that even a few slow moving fans would hugely help. Ill likely be going back to the YMCA as soon as they finish their renovations. EDIT: I have since seen cleaning staff return and the cleanliness of the place has improved. Its still not great, but not nearly as bad. The AC/Humidity is still an issue at times, but sometimes it doesnt feel as bad as others. Im trying to figure out if its the outside temperature, or is it the time of day. But sometimes the temperature/humidity is acceptable and sometimes it is very much not.

Clean facility, great staff, very knowledgeable trainers. Saw some other reviews about temperature and cleanliness being an issue... not the case. Ive seen staff regularly walk around wiping down machines to keep clean, and the temperature inside is comfortable for having so many people inside working out. My trainers have been extremely diligent in tailoring my workouts to what my body needs. They are very helpful with nutrition questiond, and have a 24 hr concierge service if you are out of town and need a workout plan while away. They even take videos of certain workouts and send them to you if youre away and dont know how to perform them! Talk about over the top. I cant emphasize enough how professional and supportive this team is. Its never crowded, has a great layout of machines, and there are plenty of staff members walking around if you need help. I can only imagine that the people who have issues with this gym are just not dedicated to getting in better shape. Dont blame your lack of motivation or dedication on the facility or staff. The change starts with your attitude!

Gym was super nice the first couple of weeks, however the owner is so cheap he doesnt run the air conditioner to a fair temperature. I understand this is a gym, but the minute you walk in, you begin to sweat, due to lack of air circulation. It is 95 degrees outside and it feels cooler outside when you are done with your workout as soon as you walk outside. This also causes people to sweat repulsively all over the equipment and not everybody cleans up after themselves. This is clearly unsanitary and great manifestation for ample multiplication of serious germs. This is just a health hazard. Hot environment= Deadly germs!!!! Noticed today that there is now a serious cricket infestation and saw a gym employee who told my husband and I that he is the owner

I am giving 1 start Because I cant give 0 stars so I went in to sign up with 3 other people for a membership the deal was if you pay one sign-up fee the rest will only pay 20 bucks a month so we went to sign up with Dustin ( by the way dont talk to him he will take advantage of you ) so Dustin made us all pay way more than the online starting fee for one person. Dustin made us all pay the starting fee and said it was the price of one starting fee. Basically the gym is nice good place to work out but dont trust Dustin he will screw you over on the price just to make a quick buck off you. ( also Dustin lied to some of us and said our 14 day free pass never went through the system, And so we had to start up then and there)

This gym is extremely dirty at all times, and not just little bits of trash here and there (although that is also an issue) there are used bandaids on the floor, machines covered in layers of sweat and all of this regardless of the time of day. I understand maintaining cleanliness is likely a difficult feat at a gym, their hours of operation should allow a window of time for janitorial staff to clean the facility. Soaps and towel dispensers are rarely stocked so if youre looking to use the restroom, youd be better off stepping outside and using one of the port-o-potties set up around the corner for the construction crews. If you plan on signing up for a membership here be sure youre up to date on your shots.

The worst trainers I have ever worked with. Promises that were not kept. Once you sign up with them, everything changed. In 4 months, I was weighed and measured once and I had to ask for it. The notes the trainer takes cannot be read even by their staff. They dont tell you what to do on your own when you are not working with the trainer. They have never discussed nutritions as they promised when they were getting us to sign up. Stay away would be my advice to anyone who is looking to work with a trainer.

This is supposed to be a new and beautiful gym. Its sad that every time Im in here the floors are riddled with dirty sweat drops, hair and dirt. The stair steppers upstairs have sweat drip stains all over them and rust accumulating on some of the moving parts. Kind of embarrassing for a brand new gym. Its not like I expect cleaning crews to be going all day long. But when I come everyday and see some of the exact same stains and gym staff is just chillin by the desks... cmon.

The sales person is rude. He wouldnt let me use my guess pass for my cousin. Ive been LA FITNESS for more than 5 years and my account on the phone app does allow a guest pass. The worst sales person Ive ever met. And I am a US ARMY veteran and he said he was in the Marines and talked about taking care of me but no he didnt. Disappointed! I will talk to the head office and make sure he doesnt do the same to someone else.

Went in for a free session and came out with a membership. Tons of new equipment, lots of space, heated pool, basketball and raquetball courts, sauna, classes and everything else you can expect from a full service gym. Staff was friendly and very helpful! I loved my session and my new gym, cant wait to go back in tomorrow!

Love this place! super nice facilities, very large compared to other LAs, lots of nice staff(Jay is the man). My only complaint- and this is to how LA Fitness works in general, is they need to be 24/7 or at least stay open later. Price is right though for what you get.

HOT, HOT, uncomfortably hot.... everything else is great, nice facilities, friendly staff. I saw a petite woman feeling dizzy doing cardio on second floor; she mentioned temperature made her stop ; please adjust a/c temperature with season. Thank you.
