I just moved to the Frisco area in April and wanted to check out what CrossFit was all about as Ive had a lot of co-workers rave about it. Since I was new to the area, I googled “CrossFit Frisco” and found the North Frisco CrossFit (NFX) Gym. I was a little nervous at first since Ive never tried it before. After talking to Ryan (CrossFit Trainer @NFX) about CrossFit and his gym, he explained that he conducts an on-ramp course over a 3 week time period that introduces you to what CrossFit is about and the different movements and techniques you need to learn before you go to his regular class sessions. During this three week period Ryan makes sure you are comfortable with the new exercises and makes sure you using proper form so that you will avoid injuries. If you are having trouble Ryan is very easy to talk to and if you have questions he is always ready to help. As far as results Ive been training with Ryan for 2 months and I can already see a change in my body and my overall fitness level. As stated in a previous review, I to have belonged to your typical gyms and health clubs but I have never been as excited to go workout than I have with Ryan and the NFX members because I know every day there will be something that will new and challenging. I guarantee, Once you try the on-ramp course you will be excited to attend the regular class sessions!!! I highly recommend Ryan and the NFX Crossfit Gym. Everyone at NFX is very easy going and it makes for a very welcoming environment. What are you waiting for? Check this place out, you wont regret it.

I have been working out at North Frisco Crossfit (NFX) for about 2 months now and I can say I am definitely addicted. I found Ryans Crossfit through a groupon ad for a deal on his "on ramp" class mwf for 3 weeks. The class taught fundamentals of crossfit. I would recommend the on ramp classes to anyone who is new to weight training or wanting a refresher on how to perform different moves. However, whether you take the on ramp classes or jump right into his regular classes Ryan makes sure you know what you are doing before getting in to any workout. Ryan is so helpful and easy going. I was a little nervous about how intense crossfit seemed at first, but the environment is totally non-intimating and everyone that is working out cheers eachother along. I have been a member of a normal gym, 24 hour, anytime fitness, just fitness, ymca, forever but this is the first time I feel motivated and excited every time I come to work out. Each day there is something different. Its like having a personal trainer for a much better price and the encouragement of others. I cannot say enough about Ryan and North Frisco Crossfit! I would HIGHLY recommend North Frisco Crossfit to anyone who asked. I have already seen changes in my strength, endurance, and physical appearance and Ive only been in it 2 months!

Ever hear of Crossfit? Wanted to just try it out and see? I would highly recommend North Frisco Crossfit. I am currently pursuing a career as a firefighter and got started with North Frisco Crossfit because I had seen the work outs online and had been recommended to look into it to help me reach my fitness goals. I came across North Frisco Crossfit because of Groupon and I have been hooked. I truly enjoying coming to North Frisco Crossfit because Ryan makes it easy to understand and is always there for guidance before, during and after each workout. I know that I have become stronger since joining the North Frisco Crossfit family and have had many people comment on my transformation. If you are unsure of Crossfit then come to Saturdays class at 10:00 AM. It is FREE! I promise you that you will not regret it.

Going into week 3, following on ramp, and the experience has been awesome. The coaches at NFX are knowledgeable and all ready to help you become the best athlete you can be. The emphasis on safely doing a movement over weight says a lot. The people at NFX are a great lot all gathering with a common goal and willing to share their tips to help new people become comfortable in Crossfit. If you are thinking about Crossfit and do not know which gym (aka box) to start with come check out NFX. I fully intend to give my year commitment at the end of the month. Looking forward to seeing you join the NFX family.

I have done a variety of fitness activities in my life including some cross fit type workouts. I came to North Frisco Cross fit to get stronger to help me with my martial arts training. In the few weeks that I have been working out with Ryan and our cross fit family, I can already tell a difference in my strength and physique. Ryan is easy to talk to and work with. He scales workouts to meet you where you are but still challenge you. He also works hard to make our group a family atmosphere and encourages community among the members. I very much recommend North Frisco Crossfit.

Been training here for 4 months and its been great! Higher endurance level and more energy. Great community feel to it. Friendly competition. Whether youre getting back into shape or taking it to the next level, Ryan will motivate you to make it happen. And like Diane said, Saturdays are free! Great way to check it out and see for yourself what CrossFit is really about.

Great trainer who is 100% there to make sure your doing everything correctly to better yourself. Not only helps you with fitness but with your health. Great atmosphere with large work out space. Highly recommend trying it out if you like to be motivated, are a little competitive, and of any age. Saturday theres free classes at 10 AM.
