I am a fan of one thing and one thing only at The Cheesecake Factory: the cheesecake. I have eaten at many locations across the country and while they are consistent, the food is bland, boring and overpriced. With that said, I did not dine here during this visit, only ran in quickly for a piece of sweet fromage to take back to my hotel room after eating at another restaurant nearby. So, to be fair, I am only reviewing the service I received and my cheesecake. Ill start off with the wonderful part - the cheesecake. It was good. Okay, really good. Now, Ive have better, artisan cheesecake that tasted like heaven and cost 5 times as much as this but lets be honest, this is the one thing that TCF does well in honoring its namesake. I ordered the red velvet cake and it was sweet, creamy and large enough that I passed half of it off as breakfast the next morning. You can do that when youre significant other is hundreds of miles away..... The location is a bit odd. It is located in a mall, which is likely the reason it is so crowded all the time, but it doesnt make for the nicest location for those who want to grab and go. I entered through the mall (I believe there is also an outside entrance) and was met with a long line of people who were waiting for acknowledgement from the hostess. I only wanted some cheesecake so it was quite obnoxious that I had to fight for an opening to get to the cheesecake display that was moronically located right next to the host desk where everyone congregates. There was no line for the cheesecake but fighting through the crowd took some time and then getting someones attention took another 5 minutes or so. I did that annoying throat-clearing trick to get someone to look my way but they are like my children and have selective hearing. The service at this location left a bit to be desired. The person who did eventually help me looked at me with disdain, as if I was just another person plaguing the world with my quest for diabetes. The assessment would not have been wholly inaccurate but still, it would be nice for them to fake it a bit better. We exchanged money and cake with not so much as a grunt of human friendliness from their end. Im sticking with my assessment that TCF is a cruddy place to eat anything other than cheesecake.... but once in a while you need that cheesy goodness, and this is a decent place as any to get it.

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant on 1/23/16. We waited about an hour and a half for a seat as it was quite busy. Our remote finally started blinking red, so we went to the hostess desk and was told to wait to the side for our hostess. She came by and immediately took the couple behind us and seated them. Maybe they were there first. We really didnt pay attention as we were anticipating a great meal. They then seated a party of 17 right past us and we got a bit perturbed, but still waited. My girlfriend finally asked the hostess when she finally returned and she "misplaced" our ticket, but was happy to seat us. Our waitress, "Britney" came and took our drink order and returned with it okay, but when we ordered, we decided to try and help as they were really busy and wanted to save them time by ordering our appetizer and main courses at the same time. Britney took the appetizer and my girlfriends order and started to walk away. I interrupted her to give her my order as well. Sorry to bother her really. while we awaited our fiid, we talked and ate some of the bread Britney supplied us with. We asked her for some more butter for our bread and Britney quickly "plopped" a handful into our butter dish instead of bringing another dish of butter. Once our food arrived, I soon discovered one tiny dish of tartar sauce would not be enough and asked for more. Britney immediately brought another tiny dish and proceeded to reach over my open hand and placed it right into my basket of food that I was eating out of. Im sorry, but I thought I took my girlfriend to a "nice" restaurant. We both had flashbacks to eating at someplace like Mommas Daugthers in Lewisville. We were very disappointed in the quality of service my our waitress, Britney. The food was okay, but not as good as expected. I can not give more than one star to a under trained waitress. I happen to know that the wait staff there is supposedly a well trained group. Perhaps miss Britney missed that memo. My opinion, the Frisco location certainly is not worth the hour plus wait.

Lack of Customer Service and Unprofessionalism by Manager Jace Lane at Cheesecake Factory in Frisco, TX. I complained about the chicken tenders being small (I have eaten at cheesecake factory for over 15 years). Karrie our waitress stated they were not small because she has worked there 7-8 years V APOLOGIZING AND OFFERING SOMETHING ELSE. I requested the manager (JACE LANE) and he actually WAS RUDER THAN KARRIE V. JUST OFFERING A SOLUTION. I requested the district managers name and contact information and Mr Lane REFUSED. I requested a business card from the manager. Mr Lane had the audacity try & force me to say "Please" like I am some child..he even walked away without giving me his business card which was in his hand at the time. He said he was done speaking to me because he felt I was rude. He LAUGHED OBNOXIOUSLY LOUDLY AND CONTINUOUSLY as he walked away. I ordered a drink through the waitress Karrie M and JACE came back with the drink in his hand as if he had done something spiteful to the drink. I refused the drink because if Jace said he was done serving me then why come back with the drink in his hand with this sneaky demeanor. I AM CERTAIN JACE LANE PUT SOMETHING IN MY DRINK AND TAMPERED WITH THE HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE HE BROUGHT OUT. HE SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED THE WAITRESS TO CONTINUE TO TAKE CARE OF US OR SENT ANOTHER WAITRESS IF HIS BEHAVIOR WAS GOING TO BE AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE. HE EVEN SAID HE WAS DONE SERVICING US BUT CONTINUE TO COME BACK TO MY TABLE. I HAD TO ASK HIM TO LEAVE. I FELT THREATENED ALMOST..HIS CLOSENESS IN OUR PERSONAL SPACE WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I FELT HE COULD HAVE BECOME PHYSICALLY AGGRESSIVE.

My girlfriend and I decided to try this chain out in Monday 1-4-16 around 2pm. We walked in and spoke to the hostess, and she took our names telling us it would be 15 minutes. Nobody was ahead of us in the lobby but 3 other couples, a family of four, and a single young woman walked in behind us. Five minutes go by and I notice the first couple behind us was seated. I assumed they had reservations? Next I hear my name called and I helped my pregnant girlfriend stand up and proceeded to go be seated. This older couple said they were me and took our place. I tried telling the hostess but she ignored me. So I go to speak with the girl at the counter and as I wait for her to acknowledge my existence, all the other customers were seated. Finally she sees me and ask " how many?". I told here I already told her 15 minutes ago but theyve seated everyone in line behind me first. She and the girl that ignored me apologized and went to seat us. They gave us the absolute worse seat in the building with a great view of the couple that stole our spot. We asked for better seats since we already had been screwed over twice and the girl responded with an attitude saying " well its going to be 15 more minutes". Thats when we decided to leave. As we left the chubby girl at the counter snickered and said, " yall come back". We will never come back!
