We ordered the Thanksgiving dinner for about $100 and it was sub par. I have been let down by this CBC so many times now, its my own fault for thinking the turkey would be different. I go to CBC Allen almost every day for lunch and they have never failed me. The chicken is always perfect and juicy, the green beans are always on point and I just love their staff. This CBC however, needs to up their service and their food. They have messed up our delivery orders serval times and Ive had to return the chicken at least twice because it was so dried out it was more jerky than rotisserie. I, against my better judgement, ordered the Thanksgiving dinner and the turkey was extremely dry. The "stuffing" was literally just chopped up bread. The green beans, which are normally my favorite side of CBC was drenched in a vinaigrette that turned our stomachs. I tried to fix them by making a green bean casserole but it was no use, all you tasted was the vinaigrette. The potatoes were pretty tasty but only if you like sour cream which i do, but if you dont, thats the only flavor it has. Im so bummed and feel like I failed my family because I bragged so much about the CBC in Allen I assured my husband it would be worth the money plus not having the hassle of cooking everything ourselves, but I was wrong and I ruined our Thanksgiving dinner by going this route. This CBC needs to get on correcting their delivery errors and their dried up chicken issues. I mean it is supposed to be their thing, amazing rotisserie right? Cmon, any way I give it 2 stars but only because I love what the chain is supposed to be, not what this one is. Im hopeful they will improve, if not such a shame!

Not only has the service gotten bad, and they remove negative complaints from Facebook, but today I handed the cashier a $20 bill for $9.73 total and received NO CHANGE. I asked why she didnt give me $10 and she claimed I gave her a ten... Trying to control anger so I walked away and joined co-workers at table. My co-workers were the only reason I was at Cowboy Chicken due to the horrible service past two visits. My co-worker said the flat bread was not good today and the taco wasnt very good even after he asked for more bbq sauce. He also received a "sprinkling of okra" and stated he wouldnt be back soon. My food and 2nd co-workers was fine - first visit in many years for him. Halfway through my meal an employee came out and told me they counted cashiers drawer and there was no overage. I told him I didnt care as I was trying very very very hard not to yell at anyone. I shouldnt be put in this situation. I hope she enjoys the $10 she stole from me. I feel like this is second theft from me as last week the enchiladas were disgusting and tasted like spoiled cream was used, so they ended up in trash, and I had to cook replacement food - I wrote on their Facebook wall but post disappeared. Ive been a long time Cowboy Chicken customer and have been disappointed in service for several months, but as of today I am a former customer. I will not be back.

4.5 stars, if it would let me. Great value! Compare this to something well known like subway where you can get a 6 inch meal for $6. For a buck less, go to cowboy chicken and get a noticeably more substantial and better tasting meal. The chicken is amazing. Flavor is on point, its very tender and never dry. The sides are the same. Very flavorful and comforting side foods. There are only a few small reasons its not a 5 star rating While theyre certainly not gripes, they are reservations and room for improvement: The chicken, while never dry, could be a little more moist/juicy. The sides are GREAT but, I have also found them to have a texture and overall effect very reminiscent of a buffet or any food prepared in bulk quantities. If they could find a way to shore up their menu so that it gives off that "mom just pulled this out of the oven" je ne sais quoi, I think Id be perfectly comfortable giving this a 5 star review when pitted against the price point.

1st I will say anytime that I have been to this location, the experience has been great. Well they placed a door hanger on our Apt door this week saying they deliver here now. So tonight I called to place an order, and after having to repeat my Address 5 times, and after reading it back to me every time, the lady still got it wrong. I asked to speak with someone else, and she said no and that she can handle it. So i repeat my address AGAIN, and she read it back AGAIN, and again it was wrong. I politely told her to have a good night and disconnected the call. I then downloaded the App, and it says they dont deliver here. Hahahahaha Chinese is on the way. Maybe the girl was just stoned or her 1st day on the job, but damn cmon man!!! I will still go back to the location in the future, but I was dumbfounded by this girl and had to share!

First review Ive written... Ive ordered from here twice, for delivery. Most recently, two days ago. Delivery was 30 minutes later than the initial 1 hour projection... Ended up going with the cowboy sandwich and some fries. Sandwich was decent, fries were inedible. Soggy, cold, etc. The first time I had delivery, I got a whole chicken and a couple sides.. Mac and cheese was baaaad. I mean bad lol. Long story short, its decent, but probably wont go with delivery anymore. Kind of overhyped in my opinion.

I dont normally leave reviews but had to give a shout out. We went to this restaurant after my sons middle school band concert last Friday night. We we tired and starving, not realizing that we arrived at closing time. The staff took great care of us, interacting with our family as the great food came out. They let us enjoy our meal, never making us feel rushed to leave. I really appreciate them taking such great care of us. We will definitely go back!! Of course at a more reasonable time. :)

Great food, VERY poor service. Placed a to-go order in the restaurant and was the only one there. After waiting 10 min, others that came after me started getting their orders. I asked the blonde girl at the counter where my order was and they had lost it. She scrambled to finally get the order filled, never apologized or acknowledged the screw-up - just handed me my order and said "here you go".

I have never written a review before, but this was so horrible I had to report. The beans were flavorless. The chicken was chopped up, and my order was shorted a thigh, part of a breast, and 4 rolls. The chicken was dry, and the legs were so dry they were inedible. Money is better spent at any of the many other chicken places. First time to try and I wont be back.

Food is good. Service not so much. Told the lady working the register there was not any ice tea and she could not have cared less. Went back and told the guy working behind the counter with her and he helped. I could maybe understand if they were swamped but when you arent doing anything and ignore a customer its bad training or just a bad employee.
