At first it seemed like it was going to be a nice place. They want you to make an appointment and they are not very flexible. I showed up for my appointment, first one in the morning and still had to sit and wait 40 minutes. They will not do your hands and pedi at the same time, so its a very LONG process, on top of the wait time. I was told that I was assigned to someone who charges extra, because of his experience. I was NOT given a choice. I paid $10 more on top of the extra for the experience for a hand massage and parrafin....never got the massage. Told the front desk at check out and they only said "Im sorry.", no discount offered, no coupon for next time, nothing. They do lean you back for your pedi and cover your eyes, but the massage is very short and weak as they leave you laying there for a while. $130 for a fill and pedi. At check out, they will not give you a break down of costs like most salons. They also pressure you to tag on a tip amount for you. They have a sign up about the minimum gratuity required. I still dont understand how it cost $130, PLUS tip. Its frustrating! You want to have a great experience and also feel good about what you paid for too. They were very snobby...this isnt Highland Park!

I had a very poor 2nd experience with Zen. It was extremely loud with clanking of dishes constantly. They also asked me if I wanted some tea of which I got after my pedicure was over half way done. The lady giving my husband his pedicure kept slamming the drawer open and shut throughout the pedicure. When you walk out of a place like this paying 151.00 for 2 pedicures, you should feel completely relaxed and carefree. I was nothing of the sort. There is absolutely NO privacy and when you are paying that much for 2 pedicures you should at least have SOME privacy. I WONT be going back.

The place is peaceful i went with my husband for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was ideal! We were treated so well and the color selections were nice. We were offerd wine or hot tea. It was clean. Smelled good. Had super relaxing music and water fountain effects. They have the best chairs because they recline allll the way back. I actually fell asleep! which never ever happens. Amazing experience 100 percent and im picky.

They denied my request to get pink and white on my nails and they decided without asking me a random color which I didnt pick out. And you have a towel over your eyes so you cant see. They also quoted us the wrong price when we called and then when we spoke to the owner she was so rude and never apologized. She pretty much called us liars. I will never go there again and no one else should either

This place use to be great. Great Service, Great Price, but ever since they changed management its gone downhill. Prices went up, service went down. I waited 1 hour with my feet soaking in water for a pedicure, which I was told it would be 15min, staff blamed it on not knowing how many clients would come in on a saturday, however, the place has been open for years.

This is the best nail salon Ive ever been too! Its just a little more than your traditional nail salon however, its peaceful, quiet, and they take their time. Its so relaxing and they give you a face mask to cover your eyes to help you get in your Zen mood. You can even choose head, neck, and arm massage to go with a pedicure!!! Thank you Lin!!!

Extremely happy and satisfied with the service at Zen Nails. Totally worth the price. The package with the massage included was awesome. Ive been to Zen Nails twice and had excellent service both times and will definitely be returning. Thank you all for the great and excellent care you give to clients. Much needed after a long work week.

After my first bad experience ever at Zen salon, Zen took the time to call me and erase my bad expirience.Ever since, I keep coming for my pedicures and have nothing else to say, but great things. So if you like a quite and relaxing experience while you get your nails done, this is the place.

I love Cyrus, and have trusted him with my hair for the last few years. He is the greatest. The last few times there the service was terrible and I lost two nails! I will only go for my hair from now on. Something is going on with them lately as far as sanitary and service.

a friend of mine that use to work there told me all sorts of stories of bugs in the kitchen and sugar containers (she has pictures, disgusting!) and how they reuse the sugar for the tea from client to client. ew.
