The couple that operates this particular storage unit is absolutely wonderful. Each month I go inside their office to pay my monthly storage bill I walk out after having a little conversation with them uplifted and even through the last 2 years Ive had my things in their storage Iv come to look at them as more like a friend..someone that really does care about people they do business with everyday. I even received a beautiful July 4th card wishing me look on my upcoming doctor test. They actual remember the people they get to know if you happen to need their storage facility for a while. You dont feel Ive just a client or number but feel as though you fond a special couple that really does care about people. I think of them more as friends now. They do an excellent job as well at attending to everything managing a place of business has to do. I feel erythromycin safe at their storage facility. Its well lit and everything a person would hope from in leaving there possessions there. Im 63 and out of all my years and the 4 or 5 times Ive had to store my things away for a while this place is the very best ever. I wish I would have use them years ago. They property is spotless and clean and lit up with lights , camera, surrvailence etc. You are safe there no matter what time of night or morning you happen to go perhaps to add another item or pick up something. I rate this place as a draw 5 the very best and not expensive prices. Much better than the many others I checked out and in the past have used. I have been a customer of the First St U-Store in Garland, TX for many years. I highly recommend them!! Always clean and 24 hour alarmed access! Managers are wonderful and Mike always asks about my son who was in a bad accident. They work with me on payments and the fact I no longer live near them. Ive used other places past n present and still prefer UStor Garland! I cant speak highly enough about them!! I miss Rose who was there for years but Mike and his wife are awesome!!

Only gave it 4 stars versus 5 because when I went to move my stuff in, there was a padlock on my unit that had to be removed. It was after hours and I was lucky the manager opened his door to remove the lock. Other than that incident I am happy to report that the manager and his wife are very pleasant and hospitable folks and the area is kept clean and secure. I am happy to recommend this location.

The team managing the U-Stor First St. Is friendly and efficient. They always make me smile. The rates are affordable. They always keep the place clean. They give you drinks and snacks when you come by the office. While at your unit if you get caught short they have a very nice rest room theyll let you use. This is the best Storage Place ever the managers Mike and his wife Fonda are amazing people there honest helpful and have good hearts your way more then a number your a real person to them and it shows. I cant say enough good about them or u store at least at that location

If you dont mind a place that is not climate-controlled, this is a great place. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the buildings are still better quality and less subject to extreme temperatures than a typical non-climate-controlled facility.

Always well maintained. The staff is always friendly, professionally courteous and thorough. Been there over 8 years, if you an apartment dweller and have extra "stuff" ... this place is worth the drive if you dont live near by.
