This is literally the only barber shop I have not dreaded going to besides Ranger Joes in Hinesville, GA. Its a very laid back atmosphere, the barbers are ALWAYS talking to their customers and out loud and it feels as though you can jump in and join the conversation. However, if you are rude, for the sake of their customers and their business, they will let you know. I saw some negative reviews about the long wait, if your wait and the line is long, that should tell you a little something about the reputation of their work. The barbers remember most, if not all, of their repeat customers and greet and speak to them on a first name basis. Ive had a barber who has cut my hair once 6months prior remember me when I sat in her chair and asked how things were with something I conversed with another barber 2 weeks prior about. All that being said about professionalism, and the down home relaxed atmosphere, they do a fantastic job at cutting hair. I have a goonies shaped head and they still make my fades look tight and straight. So, I dont know what these other hipsters are complaining about. If youre a man, or woman, and you want a LEGITIMATE hair cut, this is a phenomenal establishment. If you want your eyebrows threaded and your poor excuse of a beard waxed Im sure the salon in town would love to pamper you at their spa. Also, I have never made an appointment, I have just waited in line like a normal person in a normal BARBER SHOP, regardless of wait, and have gotten a haircut. I dont know if their are certain employee holidays or something, but Ive gone to this barber shop for two years-ish and never had a problem.

Walked in, nobody greets you, out of 3 barbers nobody explained you have to have an appointment or it would be a long wait. There is no number to take or list to sign in. When my son first approached the barber she said her customer was waiting in the car. The second time she shooed him off with her hand and said, "no have an appointment." At that time we had been waiting 1 hour and nobody ever acknowledged us. We left not wanting to give this place our business and who knew how long we would continue to wait.

We LOVE this place!! Both my husband and I feel so fortunate to have found such a great place to get our haircuts in Georgetown. You can make appointments for Tuesday and Wednesday...The rest of the week you can just drop in. This makes it so easy!! All the BARBER GIRLS are amazing although we always chose Essen to cut our hair. So if you are looking for a friendly and well priced place to get a hair cut you should go to Georgetown Barbershop...oh yes, and the parking is really easy!!

Best damn haircut Ive ever had. Im especially digging the beard trimming help in the winter time. Esin is the best, but both Melissas are doing a great job too. I would literally drive from El Paso to get get my haircut here. I stop in whenever I have a hot date, heading out of town on business, or just want to hang out.

These ladies are great, it is one of the few barber shops I have found that will still do a straight razor shave, and a straight razor shave on the head for a high and tight. Very steady hands and the only time I ever got nicked was my own fault for coughing without warning.

I took my 4 year old daughter Daisy here to have her hair evened up. The lady that did the job was super with calming her and did an outstanding hair trim. Daisys hair was beautiful thanks to the Georgetown Barbershop and their staff and atmosphere. Great place for a trim!

Ok...not great. I only went once because the first person I had could not cut a fade the right way. It always takes me a while to find a good old school barber, with straight razors and great scissor skills...Is there anyone here that can cut a proper fade?

Best barber shop in central Texas by far. Ive lived about an hour away and have been all over town to find someone who comes close and Ive come up empty. Ill now drive an hour to come see Mrs Esen and her awesome staff for the best damn haircut around.

Excellent experiencefor me and my boys. Fast service but still excellent quality at the same time. I looked for a long time for a good barber and was blown away by this perfect hole in the wall that met all of my expectations and then some.

Dont trust them with a beard! I went in with a long but mildly scruffy beard and left with a 3 incher. I cant believe she didnt check with me before doing what ever she wanted.
