Note: Actual name is Roosters GuitarBQ, not Roosters Guitar BBQ. This was very nearly a 5 star review. The venue, while a tad tricky to find, is fantastic. Wed love to come back for some music. And, although we we there on a very hot July day, the temperature in the open-on-two-sides building was not too bad. The Q was very good. We did a 4-meat plate (brisket, ribs, chopped beef, sausage) so had a decent sampling. Very nice bark on the brisket. Good smoke on the ribs. Tasty chopped. Succulent sausage! Yummy HOT BBQ sauce that packed a bit of a kick (just how I like it). Regular sauce also available. Edit. I dont even see a 4-meat plate on the menu picture, so I guess my wife worked a deal. The outdoor space is nice too. Large and open, with a big new stage. So why not five stars? Flies! I suspect its a temporary thing thing as Rooster gets pests under control, but the number of flies landing on our food was a tad disconcerting. Oops, I see this was also mention in another review on 6/27/2015, on a different website (Yelp!), so Im not to optimistic about this issue being resoled anytime soon. It might be time of year based. We sat at a table by a fan, and this helped a little. CASH ONLY! But it is also BYOB. Yippee! Only open on Friday and Saturday, and can closed for private functions, so it might be a good idea to call first! Definitely worth the short drive out of town!

When you first drive up to Roosters, you catch a whiff of the best smoked meats in the state of Texas! The ribs fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. My 8-year-old son loves Roosters cole slaw. Its creamy and not too sweet or vinegary like so many other places. The atmosphere cant be beat. The restaurant is a refurbished barn with a huge TV and wood burning stove. Out back, they have a huge area for kids to roam. We havent been there when they have had live entertainment, but they have a big stage, decorated horse stalls, and an old truck that my son thinks looks like Lightning McQueens Mater. He loves to explore the grounds. So if youre looking for a friendly, laid-back place with the best barbecue in the area, swing by Roosters on Camp Crucis. Theres no other place quite like it in Granbury.

Rooster & Lori catered my wedding in October and they were above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. From the appetizer spread to the actual meal to just their service overall - I would recommend them any day. Their food is top notch - we had brisket and sides for the meal. Everyone raved about how great the meal was for weeks after. I am one to steer clear of cole slaw but somehow they have magically made this something I ended up eating all of mine and my husbands. All through the planning they were super simple to deal with and did not add any stress whatsoever to the wedding. Rooster & Lori are the best!

Went last night for dinner. I pride myself on my own BBQ but I must admit that Rooster has me beat! All of the food was awesome! The atmosphere was way better than expected with the outdoor stage for the band and dance deck. We will most definitely be back and I am thrilled that we finally have Texas Class BBQ here in Granbury! You should without hesitation or reservation make the trip to their place! Cant say enough good things about how nice and friendly Rooster and Lori are and how great the service is!

I go to RoostersGuitarBBQ frequently because of 3 things...the Best BBQ around, friendly service and atmosphere with an indoor/ outdoor twist. At RoostersGuitarBBQ you dont know what famous celebrity is going to walk in and order a take out or dine in! LOL RoostersGuitarBBQ has a 120" Big Screen. Great for the BIG SPORTS EVENT!! If your looking for a new dining experience try RoostersGuitarBBQ in Granbury, Tx. PS...Save room for the world famous Banana pudding!!

You should be rated a 1 as thives! Double booking and stealing money from a hard working woman when shes trying get married, they had to use their honeymoon money to pay for a different venue. THEY DIDNT GET TO HAVE A HONEYMOON BECAUSE OF YOU! You should be ashamed to call your self a business. You Do not know how to make a good honest business. Shame on you for telling her to sue you to get the money back. Cowards!!!

The brisket was perfect, nice smoke ring with a juicy center and a ton of flavor. The pork was full of smokey goodness in every bit. Ribs had a great seasoned crust, were very tender and just plain delicious! I didnt use hardly any sauce because I didnt want it to interfere with the flavor of the meat. Nice place, off the beaten path. This is the Texas style bbq youve Ive been searching for!!!

Rooster & Lori of Roosters BBQ catered our wedding. The food was absolutely incredible. Both of them bent over backwards to fill our needs and did an outstanding job. Everything was 100% perfect to our satisfaction as they guaranteed it would be. I highly recommend their services. The BEST BBQ around.

They have some other the best bbq in the area. One thing that makes them unique is their sides. They gave the ones youd expect, but with there own twist on them. The biggest flaw is the lack of a rest room. There are porta-potties available, so I recommend going before you get there.

Best BBQ we have ever had!! Beautiful venue, great service, and all around wonderful experience!!! Local or visitor to Granbury, this place needs to be on your list of places to eat!! They cater and also host parties, weddings, etc!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!

Great day out side at this years Granbury Testicle Festival. Great people and staff. Ribs, baked potatoe with brisket and brisket tacos are awesome. Sides are great as well. Outdoor dance floor and music on stage makes for a fun evening out.

Good BBQ - falls apart nicely, friendly staff (including the owner), and a laid-back atmosphere. The flies were a bit bad (rural area), and I wish they had music every weekend, but thats not a huge deal. Overall great place.

Wonderful laid back atmosphere! Live music, BYOB, and fantastic BBQ! Love the Cowboys Beans, Potato Salad, and the NEW brisket tacos are to die for! Its definitely worth checking out if youre in the area!

Food is good enough be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for a family of four. We were out over a hundred dollars and you must bring your own chairs and bug spray.
