Ive been a member at Max Fitness for nearly 4 months, and it has been the WORST experience! Pros: There is enough equipment. Cons: - The cost is just not worth the investment, there are better gyms with lower costs. - Gym staff is very rude! This is the biggest issue. Im here to get a work out, not be sold things I dont need and talked to like I dont know whats good for my body and health. - You feel intimidated into signing up for things - Personal training session are not worth it, I paid so much money and I could have done a better job on my own. - It is not enough that you feel pressured and intimidated for paying for extras, when you politely decline, you get treated so bad. What happened to keeping your customers happy? - If you are looking for help creating a fitness plan for you, this is not the place, I had to deal with an inexperienced body builder who didnt have a clue. - Hidden fees

Relentless tactics to siphon money out of month to month customers was enough to send me anywhere but here. Their monthly plan includes tacking on a BS "club enhancement" fee of almost $100 twice a year! Its just another label for profit and I find it insulting. If you try to cancel, they quickly tell you how it doesnt matter what anyone told you at sign up, you have to give them 30 days notice to even cancel your membership, giving you the feeling they have this conversation on a regular basis. The SOLE purpose of this policy is to stick it to people trying to quit and save themselves from paying the nonsense charges. For anyone interested Ive had several sleezy gym rats offer me everything from $500 for 3 years to $500 for 1 year. They are the most amateurish salespeople imaginable and think youre too stupid to know any better. The club itself is adequate but I would never recommend them to a friend.

Pushy salesmen, old equipment, and even worse customer service. I was enrolled in a 12 month contract when I was told it would be monthly. I knew I would not be living here for a year and would never knowingly sign up for a 12 month contract. READ YOUR CONTRACT!! DONT JUST SIGN THE ELECTRONIC PAD! Im enlisting in the military and was told I could not get out of my contract and cancel my membership when I was leaving for bootcamp. I showed them the paperwork and they still told me I couldnt cancel. I was finally allowed to cancel but only after I put up quite a fight. There is a brand new planet fitness in town if you want an affordable gym. If youre looking for midrange in prices but a nice clean and quiet gym Valley Baptist Wellness Center is really nice! Dont waste your time and money here.

I like the spinning class and it feels great to work out again but be careful they will run or payment over and over only been there for a few weeks and they have now ran it four times and has made a mess of my bank account and other bills coming out and now I have paid almost 100 $ in overdraft fees to my bank and paid them twice for the same payment and now they tell me it wasnt them it was my bank ...? I brought in all my paperwork from my bank showing them and this is what happens !!!!

Its a place that claims no gymtimidation - I have found the members, instructors and crew very nice and helpful. Yes, the sales people are pushy (its their job) but if YOU ask questions and arent afraid to say you arent interested, youre okay. They have a womens room, which is great. I DO wish they had a steam room and maybe somewhere to swim. Try the spinning!

Do not come here. They do not consider that you moved to another city thats 5 hours away and expect you to make that drive and show proof that you moved. Customer service is far none. The up keep on the work out machines are not acceptable. Parking can be hard to fine on busy days. I do not recommend this place nor will I be a returning customer.

If the equipment was well maintained and not hand me downs, it would great. Getting good solid equipment that everyone would use would be ideal rather than stuff that just takes up space. The place definitely needs some life breathed into it....

Probably the worst customer service ever. Over priced gym that does not know how to explain their contracts. They will twist their words and take your money. It is a clean gym, but they will literally try to squeeze every cent out of you.

Good locker rooms with a sauna, and a great amount of space. However, I think they could use some newer equipment, I did notice that they are getting newer things to replace the older ones with so thats good.

I love my gym. Wouldnt go anywhere else. I see alot of improvements since i started going a yr ago. Staff is good too. Always cleaning,which is very important to me. I always recommend tru to all my friends.

Equipment is old and torn up because people literally throw weights around, no cubbies for your keys, not enough dumbbells, and the bathrooms are a tight squeeze even for a skinny person.

Worst gym Ive ever been to. Force you into joining without explaining the contract correctly and then proceed to have hidden fees and other ways to take every cent you have. never join.

Usually go to LA or Golds. I was out of town and came here. They have everything I needed, was very clean. Great workout.
