Stronghorn is awesome! Austin has tons of gyms, bootcamps etc, but I have finally found a fun, super-intense workout that is quick and dirty. Not only is the workout great, but there is no commitments, unlike some gyms that have super high prices per month unless you commit for a year, its still cheaper than camp gladiator with a 6 month commitment. Stronghorn is growing very quickly for good reasons, so there will be more locations and times soon to make it easier to make a class. Jess, the founder, is genuinely one of the nicest, most fun people I know. He is great at motivating you to push yourself beyond what you thought your body could do and making you laugh and smile while doing it. The group is also still relatively small and has lots of social events, happy hours, and other nutritional challenges. If youre looking for a new fitfam in Austin, Stronghorn will be a great new home for you.

I love this group! Jess and all of the trainers are very good at what they do and they bring a element of fun that almost makes you forget youre working out. Just kidding! Its impossible to forget youre working out when youre muscles are dying, youre out of breath, and you feel like you cant move another inch. But all of the sudden there is somewhere there encouraging you to go just a little bit further. This is a group of really fun and amazing people. If you want a group of obnoxious and overly competitive people go somewhere else. If you want to hang out with a group of people that loves to be fit and push themselves to the next level all while having fun, this is the group for you. Dont worry about your fitness level when you show up. Everything can be done at your own pace and the only goal is to challenge yourself.

Cant speak high enough about Jess and Stronghorn Fitness. I had been working out with a group of friends, but found myself holding it together, motivating everyone else, and not getting the workout I needed. The workouts of Stronghorn were exactly what I needed. Took all the guesswork out of what I should do. Show up, push yourself, earn your shower, and get better each day. Great workout partners, awesome music, and a positive attitude that permeates into every aspect of your day after the session. Jess provides fitness guidance as well as nutritional advice with recipes and grocery store visits. Do yourself a favor: decide to get better, get help, get a group, and join the Stronghorn family.

I have not played full outdoor soccer match (just indoor) in quite some time, but got out on the field and was the strongest I have been since college. Your plyometric training activities at Boot Camp 2-3 times a week are great for soccer players to build strength and explosive power, not to mention making them strong on and off the ball. Between what you practice at Boot Camp and the 5 mile runs I go on 2-3 three times a week I was thoroughly prepared and played four full matches. So thank you for providing such a great program, especially one that is great for soccer players to gain strength and speed.

Not only has Stronghorn Fitness gotten me into the best shape ever, its become an integral part of my life in Austin. Jess Martin is a strong motivator with infectious positivity. He draws incredible people to his workouts which has established a tight knit crew. I am consistently challenged by the regiment Jess puts together and love having the sessions outside. I highly recommend coming to one of Stronghorns Free Saturday workouts to see if this is the right program for you!

I joined Stronghorn in August and couldnt be happier. Jess and Rory really care about everyone that comes out and are great motivators. They also make the workouts a lot of fun. The strognhorn family is really close and I have made a lot of great new friends through the workouts. It takes some dedication to get up for a 615 AM weekday workout but with Rory and Jess at the helm it makes it a lot easier. I highly suggest giving them a try!

Stronghorn Fitness is the best outdoor bootcamp Ive tried in Austin. The workouts are high energy every day, even at 6:15 am, and I look forward to it every morning. Exercising outdoors is so much more fun, especially with the fun, motivating group of people at Stronghorn. You cant find a better deal for high quality training for the price.

I came across Stronghorn almost by chance and I think its awesome. I appreciate that they have free or donation based classes for those of us that are financially limited. There classes/bootcamps are diverse, motivating and a definitely sweat session.
