I STRONGLY suggest you take your car somewhere else for anything other than tires (and even with tires you might want to check prices elsewhere). The "check engine" light came on in my car so I took it to this Firestone location and arrived at 9:30 in the morning. In addition to the "check engine" light, I also knew that I needed new brakes. I told the manager that I wanted new brakes, an oil change, an air filter, and for them to check out why the "check engine" light was on. He asked me if I could leave the car and that they would have it all done by 5:59 (they close at 6). I asked him when he would call me (regarding the "check engine" light) and he said within about 60 to 90 minutes he would call me. He said he had two master techs working and everything would get done TODAY for sure. 2 1/2 hours later NOBODY HAD CALLED ME. I called them, spoke to the manager, and was told they were just pulling in the car. Nothing to report, he would call me in an hour. 2 hours later - NO CALL. I called the manager and asked him what the status was. He told me there was nothing to report yet, they were still looking at the car. I asked him if he was sure everything would get done, he said, "well I cant guarantee it". I responded that he told me when I dropped the car off that he did guarantee it, and he said the same thing when I called 2 hours earlier. His brilliant, customer service oriented response was: "I told you it would be done at 5:59 and until the clock ticks 5:59 I dont see any reason to argue with you." He then told me again, he would call me. NO CALL. At 5:30 my wife drove me to the location. As I was pulling in at 5:45 to Firestone, they called. So, here is a recap: THEY DID NOTHING. They didnt touch the brakes. They didnt fix the problem that was causing the check engine light to come on. They didnt do a single thing. All they did was tell me when I arrived at 5:45 that I needed new tires, and my air intake manifold gasket was leaking. Thats what was causing the check engine light to come on. They asked me if I wanted to leave the car and they would do the tires the next morning. I laughed. In my opinion, this place is a joke. No communication. If they couldnt do the work when I wanted it done, they should have said so. I believe they knew all along that they couldnt but if I left my car, they could try to sell me new tires and get me to leave the car until the next day when they could do the work. I will never go here again. There are plenty of other options on that street alone. As it turns out, I took my car to Sears the next day and they had everything done when they said they were going to do it, for a lot cheaper than Firestone was going to charge. In addition, the employees at Sears were nice and polite, not rude and condescending like at Firestone.

Not surprised at all by all the bad reviews, this place is a rip off, the epitome of the shady repair center set up to steal your money. Dont take your care to this place. This used to be a good repair center. I recently dropped off my truck for a front end vibration. Well lo and behold I need a complete 4 wheel brake job and an alignment... $1000.00 later, I get in my truck and its pulling so hard to the right I cant drive it and the whole damn truck vibrates. I took it back and they swore they fixed it, supposedly realigned it and found "fix a flat" build up in one tire. after two trips to this "auto care" place, my truck still pulls to the right and vibrates so bad the drinks in my cupholder are spilling from the shaking. The story actually gets worse, dropped off my wifes car when I picked up my truck the first time, they had it all day and fixed nothing, dropped my truck off again for the second time and of course they had a long list of all the things wrong with my wifes car and didnt fix the single thing we needed fixed. I dont have the time or inclination to even let them try a third time, I dont trust them to do what is needed and to do quality work. Never again, hopefully this isnt an indication of all Firestone stores.

Took my fiancé s xterra to get an alignment check. They checked it out, told us to come back in an hour, and sent us on merry way. 15 minutes before we were done with dinner Crystal called me and said the tie rods were rusted (too many beach trips) and the mechanic could not perform the needed adjustments. Quoted me $650 to replace them. I asked if there were any other options and Crystal asked their head mechanic and he offered to soak them over night and try again in the morning. Called them at 815 this morning and Joe (I think) had worked his voodoo magic on one side and was trying his luck on the other. Got a call 2 hours later: truck was good to go and it just cost us labor. I know experiences vary from Firestone to Firestone and people have had negative experiences at them before. However, I can only speak to my own personal interaction with them. Service was fantastic, I honestly think they put our best interest first, and the work and pricing was good. This crew was great!

I stopped by early friday morning for a simple oil change and was quoted an hour and a half and they would call me when it was ready, Two hours later when I had not recieved a call I came back and my car still hadnt moved, when I ask the man at the desk how much longer he said it was still going be another hour and a half, I asked him if they had forgotten my vehicle and he stated it was just very busy, what I dont understand is if it was going to take longer than his initial quote, why not call to inform me? An oil change should not take 4 hours when i had arrived so early, plus customers who had arrived after me left before me. I just felt completely forgotten.

The store arranged for an inter-store transfer of the tires I needed so the manager on duty called me at home when they were ready for me to come in. Great so far. I come in and wait 30 minutes for them to get the truck in and then another 3 hours to get the tire change. Maybe thats how long it takes, I dont know. What I do know is that they made me think I could get in and out quickly and instead made me spend 3.5 hours of my Sunday sitting in their waiting room. The actual work and tires are probably fine. Their lack of consideration for peoples time is completely unacceptable. For this reason I do not recommend this location.

I made an appointment Friday afternoon, to have an alignment done on my vehicle on that coming Sunday at 2pm. So I show up at 1:30 to arrive early and drop the vehicle off. "We cant find your appointment but can you leave it with us for 3 hours and we should be able to get it done." For those that arent mechanically informed, an alignment takes about 30-60 minutes depending on the vehicle. Stay away unless you want to wait , especially after youve made an appointment. If I could give 0 stars I would
