Over priced and over charged for work that was quoted less than half that price in many near by mechanic shops. They tried to charge me 910.00 for a 500 job! Be prepared for them to change prices on you after you get work done and then when you bring it up they argue about it. The manager Chris was very unprofessional huffing and puffing making comments and shaking his head, saying he will take it out of his Check as if your begging them for a deal. He offered me the price and when I told him it was incorrect from what he offered he argued with me said he called me never did. He had a wrong number on file "but called my correct number to let me know it was ready " hmmm. But he called me about the price? Makes no sense. He priced matched a competitor when I was there and agrees to a prove when I came back changes it because he thought it wasnt a big deal. We will NEVER use them again and also will be reporting them to the BBB for charging me previouse work they didnt do. I will also be reporting this to many online websites on reviews, I did get the work verified 2 times before letting Midas know they didnt do what I paid for. The manager Chris had the worst attitude. EDWARD a coworker had a vey bad attitude toward women. The men in there treat women as if they dont know whats going on. The nice younger gentleman at the register was very polite. We were Very uncomfortable , and thats a very disrespectful place. I have 13 neighborhoods surrounding this location with 59 people who can show you there pics and there recommendations to other companies who are great. These people make a DONT USE MIDAS forum on the neighbor app and shared there horrific stories about the bad service at Midas. Proves its not just me locally who had a bad experience.

Christian - Horribly Obnoxious weed, unethically unacceptable & disgusting most Front Desk person Ive dealt with !! Always looking forward to irritate, BULLYING and overcharge the bill with his intimidating tricks. WELL, HIS is a nice old school technique that might have worked to CHEAT other customers but unfortunately, it wont work with me at least. Looks like Christian still thinks hes dealing with customers from 1900 era or hes living in that era for real. Dude, grow up & if youre still sleeping, JUST WAKE UP. This is 2017 !! I wonder first of all - why is he still there? He should have been replaced with a better customer service rep long time back. MIDAS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? ARENT YOU HEARING your customers? He surely is there and does everything possible to irritate your customers, TOO LOUD, TOO ARROGANT & A RACIST BY ALL MEANS (will like to discuss in detail with higher authorities about kind of foully language he used during his conversation with me, also the way he treated me and the other lady customer while I was waiting there). Going by all reviews below, Surely, he doesnt deserve to be at such a classy car service store. Ive been to other MIDAS & GOODYEAR locations before. BY FAR, this was the worst ever experience I had. If I see him next time at front desk, Ill be highly disappointed. On contrary, the other young front desk guy (forgot his name), he was very humble, down to earth, highly customer service oriented and helped me to calm the whole situation down. When he was helping to address my concerns, Christian tried to stop him by his usual arrogant comments as if he felt defeated. Joe (Manager) was very helpful as well. Ill return to your store only & only if I dont have to see Christian again.

Skip this place. They dont seem to know what they are doing. I took my car in to Midas on Culebra for a check engine light repair. I figured it was the catalytic converter and/or oxygen sensor and was told it was both. They fixed it but the car ran rough and a couple of days later the check engine light is back on. So I go back and they keep the car a couple of days while they try and figure it out. 3 days later I get it back and they have no clue but reset the check engine light so now it is off. Guess what, a day later the engine light is back on. Take it back and they decide it was a bad catalytic converter or oxygen sensor and have to replace both. Couple more days in the shop and then I get the call. There is suddenly a computer reset that has to be done to the car when you change the catalytic converter. An extra $250 dollars. Get the car back and it still runs rough. They said the computer has to learn how I am driving so that was normal...WHAT. Just waiting for the check engine light to come on again. Couple of points. 1. Midas reputation is on mufflers and exhaust. You would figure they would know what goes into replacing the catalytic converter to include a computer reset. 2. I should not have been charged for the reset. It was their mistake and the additional repairs have cost me time and inconvenience to fix their oversight and error. 3. Car still runs rougher than before Midas. While it is under warranty, I certainly wont go back to this Midas. I am hoping there is a more reputable shop somewhere in town. Yeah, I am ticked to trust the Midas touch. I got burned and I dont think they care. If this helps you decide to go somewhere else, then it will serve its purpose. Good luck.

Needed new front rotors and brakes so I went to this store believing that a Midas could take care of this issue. They replaced my front rotors and brakes a few days later I heard a metal grinding sound in my front right, I took my car back to Midas, there explanation was that it wasnt the rotor to try greasing some suspension parts and to drive it for 2 or so days and if that didnt fix it they would recommend working on the suspension w/ a $500-$1000 quote. The sound never went away I asked some other mechanics what to do before going back to Midas for a third time. They said replace the rotor or move it to the L side to see if the sound occurred over there, logically determining if it is the new rotor or not. As I arrived at Midas for the third time I explained the new suggestions, they again insisted it wasnt the rotor, after arguing "again" they decided to try a new rotor. Well guess what it was the rotor. I know parts sometimes can be bad so I understand this, however what is completely unacceptable is the way I was treated, countless hours/days wasted and that they would try to upsale other work w/out checking the original work they did. I would not send my worst enemy to this store, Anthony the manger did not help at all in fact he was the one insisting on suspension problems. I will never take business to Midas ever, worst car experience ever!!

I brought my truck in to see what was causing a rattle underneath it. They called me back later and told me that both of my catalytic converts were bad and would need to be replaced. So I was looking at about $1k for universal cats. I told them I couldnt afford that right now, no I dont want to open a store credit card, and brought it home. After about 5 min research online I find out that Federal law mandates an 8 year/ 80k mile warranty on catalytic converters, which my truck falls under. So I took it to McCombs Ford West and had it done for free. Thanks Midas for caring about money more than your customers and making them pay for service that has a federally mandated warranty since 1996. I would have respected you and continued to use your service for any other work I needed if you had informed me of this. Now I refuse to use you and will make sure I let others know of my feelings. How many other people have you ripped off for warranty work?
