The only reason I give this facility one star is because I think you get what you pay for. My membership is only 25.99 per month. Im not sure what others pay, but I think thats a good price. That being said, like the other reviewers have said, the place is a dump. Where to start? Someone talked about the bathrooms. Yes, they are dirty, too, and the locks on the bathroom doors dont always lock. The showers are filthy and have rust and mildew stains and theres nowhere to put your shampoo, etc. The equipment: There are at least two machines I use that look like they are supposed to have two bands to lift the weights, but one band is broken. Many of the machines dont work the way they are supposed to and you have to adjust. The cardio machines: The stair mills are old and rusty and broken. Two are out of order (out of 6) as Im writing this. One of them wobbles when you get on it. Its hard to plug your earbuds into them and sometimes you get no reception at all. Im someone who uses a heart rate monitor and the HRMs dont work on about 75 percent of the treadmills. Many of the programs are missing from them ("fat burner"). The ellipticals work okay, as far as I can tell. They have two TVs set to FOX. Ive complained about that and it doesnt change. Maybe everyone that comes to their gym is ultra Conservative, but I think thats a little much. Oh yeah, they FINALLY got their close captioned working. Finally, I LIKE the people who work there and think they are great.

The equipment is old and outdated. Compared to the other 24 s the equipment is by far the worst. A lot of the machines stick halfway in between a rep and squeak to high hell. However, you can make do. The staff is the best thing about this place as they are always friendly and helpful...not to mention the ladies... (some good looking ones). The worst part about this place are the men. Let me explain... I have been to this gym many times before and today I came in at monday at 8pm to beat the gym rush. On one bench I see a guy with talking about how much he lifts and how much tail he gets. Guess what buddy? This isnt tea time...get on the machine and LIFT. Shut up, stop painting your nails, texting your boyfriend, and talking about how much tail you get. NO ONE CARES. Literally, the most inconsiderate group of people every single time. I ask for a machine and get a look like I am asking for the definition of e=mc^2. Go to rice village or midtown if you are a serious about lifting because MOST of these clowns are not. I never have problems as people are willing to share machines anywhere else. You go to the gym to exercise No wonder you still look like gumby.

This is an armpit of a gym. Nothing has changed in over ten years. The bathrooms stink and have poor ventilation so it always has that damp, urine must. Equipment is always broken. Most of it is rusty. This place doesn’t have the newest cardio machines like other locations have. Also what does it take to get the audio system to work on the cardio machines. It is always messed up. Even the water fountain is broken. I wrote a note to management and I sat down to wait for my wife to finish her workout. I saw a manager take my note, read it, then crumple it up into a ball and throw it away. I called back to complain about the fountain and was told repairing it was not in the budge since all the 2010 money was spent. So for three months only warm water was available. The place as a whole sucks. I drive passed this place every time to go to a different facility. Go to a different location if you can. If you have to go here, bathe in hand sanitizer when you get home. If any of the managers read this you should be embarrassed at how you run this location.

Newly remodeled?! I would keep that to myself. They should be embarrassed by what they are calling a remodel. I was looking forward to seeing how it all turned out but was 100% disappointed. They painted the ceiling, added inspiration words, moved equipment around, got new lockers or maybe just a new face on lockers (can only say about Womens locker rooms), new shower controls/faucet and new lavatory faucets. The place is still as dirty, old, smelly as it was before. I thought they would at least wipe down the machines but noticed they still had the same sweat spots. The tile in the restrooms are dirty with lime, again thought they would at least clean but nope. The only good thing about this place is how close it is to my house and the employees are always nice. Machines are so old they are rusty and get stuck very often. If I had the patience to handle traffic elsewhere, i would go to different locaction.

Overall a horrible and low quality gym -the bathrooms are not well-kept as both the mens and womens restrooms reek of urine -the equipment is all old and worn out. The weights all have obvious signs of rust and most of the workout machines are broken or on the verge of breaking -the customer service is horrible as the front desk employees are rude and difficult to work with whenever any complications arise -the policies by the management and the employees are arbitrary and not based on corporate policy, which is shown by how the management takes little care of the equipment. Overall this gym is not worth the $50/month and the previous reviews are all accurate in describing the low quality of service and equipment offered by this gym. Im glad that I have found another much more high quality gym nearby my house that offers a much more decent price, better service and better equipment.

The place wasnt bad but the remodel is horrible. All the equipment is cramped into a tiny space where you are bumping into everyone and can hardly walk. All the equipment is now under a huge fan so good look staying warm. They closed the gym for 2 weeks to "remodel" and there is all the same old broken equipment and nasty bathrooms. You have to check out a rope because people there steal them. The place was so-so to begin with, these new changes put it far below worth the price. Some of the staff is very friendly, but others treat it like a joke. While someone was complaining, I watched another employee go behind her and make faces at her. Hardly professional service. Others just sit in the front and eat their fast food. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other 24 hour fitness gyms if youre set on sticking with 24.

The gym is always dirty, the equipment broken, and staff are rude! It is difficult to find a machine that is not broken. I have complained several times and the staff respond with, "Others have already complained." If you go to this gym bring your own music, something to read, or watch. Not all machines have option to listen to televisions. Most stations playing include every local and national station, infomercials, spanish, 1 sports channel, and E! I have asked about changing infomercial stations and was told they would not change stations because people may complain or they will get more requests to have channels changed. I have decided to cancel membership and joined the Y. They have new and working machines, much cleaner (incl steam rms and pool-water actually looks clear), and every machine has its own tv unit.
