If I could turn the clock back, I would not take my vehicle here. I was SO disappointed and insulted by the work. I had right front bumper damage and wanted to repaint my hood due to overtime swirls that developed. Upon pick up the vehicle had noticeably dust/dirt that dried in the paint. The front bumper still had the scratches from the hit and doesnt appear they took off the bumper to do the work as it also had imperfection where they would have Ill guess and say taped it off to not affect the remainder of the car. The hood had a new coat of paint however the swirls were still there. Its as if they just put more paint over the work without buffing/smoothing the scratches/imperfections off. These things were pointed out and they stated they warrantied all their work to bring it back in 72 hours that some buffing should take care of it. I have the car brought back to get corrected and after waiting 2 hours they realize its going to take more than buffing and they would have to re-paint so now to be further inconvenienced they say they cannot give me a loaner because its Warranty work. I got my car back the next day, its still not perfect as a matter of fact in the paint you can see a drip in the paint. Thats the quality this company offers. If your car is more than just "a car" to you dont bring it here. Apollo obviously does not care about the quality of their output therefore your car is just number.

This is my first review, but I felt compelled to write one. I worked with "Fitz," the manager at Apollo. He was fantastic from greeting me, offering me a beverage, and then performed the estimate on my car. I went to a few other top rated Mechanic shops, and all the quotes were about $1,000 more than what Apollo had quoted me. They mentioned they had been in business for 40 years, and a mechanic shop that is open that long has to be doing something right. They then offered me a free rental (2012 Toyota Carolla) for the 5 days I had given them my car. I picked up my 4runner today, and it looked brand new. Professional paint job, and all new OEM parts. All the other competitors were offering me used parts but for $1,000 more. I was happy to be receiving all OEM parts. Apollo knew I wasnt going through my insurance, and they worked with me and did NOT charge me for more than what the estimate was, even tho they discovered there some small things that needed fixing. All around, great service, very fast turn around time (others were saying 1.5 weeks, while Apollo had it done in 4 days). They washed my car, and vacuumed in side as well, without asking them!! Definitely will be coming back.

Being new to Houston I asked coworkers for a recommendation to get body work done after my A6 was hit on the back right side. One person recommended this place. Worst recommendation EVER. To begin with the owner offered to "waive" the deductible which just basically means hes over-billing the insurance company and it should have been my first clue that he was all about the scam. A few months after the work was done I noticed the paint was starting to bubble. A few months after that the back tail light stopped working. I brought it back and they "fixed" it. A few months after that it stopped working again and more areas of the paint were bubbling or cracked. I bit the bullet and took it to the dealership instead as I finally realized this place is a piece of s$#%. $500 to replace the tail light. Turns out Apollo used a used tail light. The first AND second time. If youre going to bill the insurance company why not use new parts?!?! Because youre a SCAMMER. At some point Im going to have to deal with the peeling paint and Im tempted to send the bill to Apollo. Except that I want NOTHING to do with him again.

From the first call until the time that I picked up my car after the repair, everyone was so nice and professional. Lynn was able to sense my confusion about what to do in dealing with the insurance company. Not only did she work with me, but so did Fritz. He told me he would take care of everything; and he did! While having an accident is never ideal, knowing that I could get a loaner car took a lot of pressure off of me and that there was someone working with the insurance company. More importantly, unless I told you, you would never know that I had an accident in a car that I had owned for only 2 weeks! Dont let others talk you out of going to Apollo; you wont be sorry!

My truck was wrecked and taken to Apollo on Hwy 6 near Katy fwy I told them that the main thing I was concerned about was over spray under the truck they assures us me that was not a problem They gave me a loaner car and when the work was supposedly done they called me to come get the truck the work was horrible there was over spray all over underneath the truck and they had damage the fender that was brand new it did not fix the repair right when they damaged it and left the edges unpainted painted and then they had the nerve to want the loaner car back and my truck still needed repairs because of their shoddy work I will never go there again

HORRIBLE SERVICE ! They put my bumper and fender on wrong; they didnt check for any other damage soon as I left my tire blew out on the same side as the damage that "they fixed" they didnt make sure my car was safe to dry which caused me to get into a life threatening major accident ! Do not get your car fixed here they are terrible waste of money all of the wiring in my car was done wrong is was in a worser condition then when it was when i dropped it off to them. Theres a reason why MACO put them out of business they only care abt the money not your safety

Love this place. Thank you all so much for helping me with everything. The insurance was giving me such a hard time even though I was hit from behind American Access Casualty Company did not assign anyone to my case. Then said I had to pay for a rental and they would reimburse 21.99 daily. No one rents for that. The owner at Apollo Paint and Body Shop said not to worry and in less then 5 min he had me a vehicle and ready to go. I feel so much better knowing that my vehicle is left in good hands of a family business.

Easily the worst experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. Not only did they crack my dash, get paint on my seat, and keep my car for over six weeks, but they were even so rude as to return it to me with a completely empty tank of gas (and I mean literally running on fumes). Not once did they call me for an update. For six weeks I had to call to receive even the slightest bit of information, and yet I still had to find out about my broken dash when I came to pick up the car. They are liars and scam artists. Beware.
