Even though this place is advertised as Curves for Women, the owners son entered the circuit where women were exercising and joined in between. His attitude was close to harassment. My wife was there and became extremely uncomfortable and never went back again to curve. Upon complain, the owner avoided me over phone. Finally, she was rude and tried to brush aside any of her fault. She should control her son. She was even sarcastic about my complaint. If same owner is still there and you are concerned about privacy, I suggest looking somewhere else. This event took 8 years ago as of today, 2/2013, and I am surprised they are still in business with their inappropriate and ethical practices.

The owner operator of this store provided unwanted and unsolicited advice for a medical condition she has NO CLUE about to my wife, making her uncomfortable to ever go back. After cancelling my wifes membership, we continued to be charged the monthly fee. After sending ANOTHER request to cancel the membership, the charges stopped... for three months... then we were charged 3 MONTHS of fees at once, completely unexpected. The owner was VERY UNCOOPERATIVE when explaining our situation - that we had cancelled 7 MONTHS AGO and demanded another month of fees plus a cancellation fee.

I am a member at this curves and I love it! One of the draws for me is the social interaction between members and the owner as we work out together. It is definitely a social experience and as such one should consider any "advice" as coming from a friend who cares about you. If you do not like the social interaction then Curves is not for you, and you should go to one of the other fitness clubs where you can work out in solitude surrounded by 100s of others who never say a word to each other.
