I contacted this company and dealt with Dave. I had a leak in my roof due to the hail storm in April. Along with a leaky roof there of course if ceiling damage/carpet damage. I asked for a quote, Dave came to my house and was late for our first appt. (I had to call him and ask if he was still coming) - to where he advised he was. When he showed up he never inspected my roof. Once he found out the insurance company was paying me for the damages he stated, he didnt need to look at the roof. He took a copy of the insurance adjusters estimates and stated he would contact me. He advised their company did remodeling was equipt to handle the entire job. He stated he would have someone come look at my carpet as it had begun to mold and the insurance company put clean instead of replace. That person never showed up. I called Dave to see why and he said - the guy said it would be replaced because of the condition, but that was the whole point of making the appt. for him to see the carpet?? (No Show) - about another week went by. Dave set up another appt. to talk about payment/deposit and the invoicing quote for the job. He advised me to endorse my insurance check over to Houston Roofing and they would get it cashed. I did not do this. I am not handing over an entire check to anyone who hasnt even started a job, inspected my roof or sent anyone to look at my carpets/wall damage. He later asked for a $3000.00 deposit which I was not comfortable with either. That was more than half of the full payment. Another week went by. I contacted the office and asked about the invoices (I hadnt received yet and was told they would be sent) - another week went by. My job shouldve started the first week. Still no one had shown up. I got frustrated called and was told my roofing had been ordered and my job would start asap. I told Dave Id give a deposit (but had no intentions of giving them $3000). Dave told me he could pick it up, but I told him I would drop it by their offices the next morning. We agreed upon the next morning he stated they opened at 8:30a. When I got to the West Little York office at 9:20am. The doors were locked. There was a dog with a bed in a side room, but laying by the window. The office looked empty for the most part. I called their number on the building and a lady answered. I asked if she worked at the office (which looks like a warehouse), she said yes. I told her I was outside she then stated she was at a different location. (strange). I knocked, no answer, so I left. I sent Dave a text to advise I had shown up at the office and he said he was there. I advised no one answered and a few minutes later he responded to my text that he was coming from Houston Hobby airport and would stop by to pick up the deposit. He never showed up. I texted to see why and finally had to tell him I was leary about giving this company my money. Something just didnt feel right. To where he advised me to find a new contractor it wasnt going to work. I just felt like this entire company was a scam. What kind of business is this? DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. I am not making this up. Any company can post a review about their company themselves. I am willing to send anyone the text message conversations so you can see them for yourself - (I uploaded my text message photos) - almost a month of this company not showing up. Making appts and me having to ask if he was coming or not. Not professional AT ALL!!!!
