My roof has a leak so I called them for repair. I had the privilege of working with Cipriano Sanchez, one of their repair representatives. Cipriano was friendly and professional at first, but after I paid for the repair and made an inquiry about the possibility that his co-worker (who actually did the work) may have forgotten to put a boot on the ventilation pipe, Cipriano immediately snapped at me, annoyed, and seems like he wants nothing to do with it. As soon as I made an inquiry, things escalated very quickly over the phone and he started raising his voice, even dragging his sentence as if I am mentally disabled. Cipriano was in charge of scheduling repairmen to come do the work, so he was directly responsible for the quality and completion of their work. I called Cipriano not to blame them for messing up, but rather to raise a concern. The way he handled the call was very unprofessional and irresponsible. Once they got a hold of your money, they want nothing to do with you regardless of the work quality or customers satisfaction. Overall the repairman did a good job. Good clean up also. My main disappointment was the way Ideals representative handled customers inquiry. It was very disrespectful, unnecessary, and unprofessional. If there was a lack of quality in the repair, I cant imagine the kind of crap Ideals representatives will put me through, and how many other deceptively professional Ciprianos I will encounter. The company is very capable at their work with very skilled staff, but employees like Cipriano Sanchez are cancerous and will ultimately affect the company in an unhealthy way. Unfortunately I believe they are as good as their worst employee, thus I am not recommending this company to you.

I requested an estimate to repair a leaking roof in the back of the house after Hurricane Harvey. They came out on 9/2/17 to inspect the roof. I told them that there was also a small leak on the front of the house. They repaired the area with 2 small dabs of roof caulk on top of 2 nails. They did not replace the affected single shingle or even state that they would come back and replace the shingle. Just 2 dabs of caulk. For this, Ideal Roofing charged me $250.00. In my opinion, I believe this to be price gauging after a storm. I have talked to several other roofing companies who have told me that they would not have charged me for this situation. One company even told me that they tarpped a house for no charge. To date, 12 days later, I have not received an estimate. Buyer beware!

I am not sure what happened with the other reviewers, but we had an excellent customer service experience with Ideal. I received a call back within a day of calling the office and had an appointment with David a few days after that. He was very knowledgeable, honest and thorough in explaining the insurance claim process for my new roof. The work was quality and I will recommend this company to others.

I just moved to Houston and my " Fix-er Up-er " needed some serious roof repair. Ideal came out and gave me an honest quote which was refreshing. The roof damage was pretty serious but they worked with my insurance, in what seemed like no time, I had a beautiful new roof. Thanks to the crew, great job cleaning up afterward,my wife loves you for not crushing her flowers! :)

I had them to replace my roof back in January. Then I found out that there was leakage problem. I called them a number of time in the past two weeks and they have not even helped me schedule an appointment to fix the problem. I have to say that their customer service was horrible.

We had our shingles replaced by Ideal Roofing a couple years ago and very satisfied with the price and product. Recently we had them do a repair for a leak (not their fault...tv dish). They completed the repair within a few hours of our call.
