I just got back from my carwash at RSVP on Malone St. Ive been going there for a little over 1 year now and have been satisfied with the basic wash. Today I finally decided to go for their Hand Wax package for $55. The cleaning was unsatisfactory. They missed spots on my wheel and lower lip of the front bumper. When they told me they were done, I asked if they waxed the top of my car, the lady said no. I appreciated her honesty, as she then went back to wax it. I just dont get why they would skip that part in the first place. Thats a key area of the car that gets beaten by the sun and needs wax. The worst part of my visit today was that they had a promotion, that through technicality, they would not honor for me. It was a Mothers Day promotion. I proceeded to the counter to ask about it and was told if you buy a gift card of $50 or more you get double the amount ($100) on the gift card. They didnt tell me upfront that it cannot be used the same day. But when I mentioned it was a no brainer for me to take advantage of the promotion because I was already getting my car washed (for $55), they told me you cannot use it the same day. These minor details were not only not written on the sign, its just a foolish way to piss off customers. I find what they did to be bad business. I could have not told her I was actively getting my car wash and she would have rang up the promotion. But I was honest up front and it cost me the promotion. I really liked the service, location, facilities, and basic wash here but am certain I would not return after this experience unless the owner makes an effort to reach out to me. Theyve essentially lost a repeat customer over a matter of $45. Not to mention earning this poor review. Ive been to Splash Car Wash near the Galleria. I guess I will have to give my business to them going forward.

The only reason I still go there is the service I receive from krystal. She remembers me by name knows me by name and I feel welcome there. I am a member here and have been for atleast 3 years or so I cant exactly remember. When I 1st started coming here about 3 years ago to wash my car I was amazed beyond belief if how clean my car was even when I got the basic wash. That motivated me to become a member. I also recommended my mom and my sister to become a member. Well as time has progressed the washing of the car which is what this business is about, has gotten worse and worse. As this started happening my mom and my sister canceled their membership. Well I stuck around because the manager there who of course no longer is there told me that she was getting the staff to pay more attention and let me know that she would take care of problems as they occurred. She quit then another manager who was there maybe less then a month quit. So today I go there to clean my car and of course when It was done as usual the car had water spots, the car still had bug splatter on the front end. My windows still have streaks which is annoying when you drive. The attendant was there as I was getting my car and was willing to correct those things but I already waited long enough and had to get back to work. So I thought I am a member Ill just come back tommorow. I shouldnt have to do that. It could be worse but I pay every month and sometimes I only come once a month so the least they could do is make sure the car is perfectly clean. They need to go back to the what it was 2 years ago. I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew and now I would never make that mistake.

I dont get it. How difficult is it to clean cars? It seems like a simple, supply/demand, quality controlled process. The actual cleaning job (I got a detailing) was sufficient. Nothing outrageously amazing or terrible. Yet, I would send a caveat to anyone wishing to use these people: they cant schedule, they estimate 4-6 hours, when it really took two (which cause me an extra $18 in two Uber rides home) and tried (unsuccessfully) to pressure me into paying $20 extra for dog hair. I said, "clean around the dog hairs, but dont leave any dirt." And low and behold dog hairs magically disappeared too. It took 4 people to decide this and they acted like they were doing me the favor. On top of it all, I had purchased the Crossover (in the shop at the time of my appointment) Groupon, and was using it on a Compact Car. I couldnt cancel the appointment, which was (due to being a Groupon) scheduled 1.5 months in advance, in the hopes that I would forget about it and not come in, which is how RSVP has decided to make their money...hoping you lose yours. Rude office staff, inconsiderate, and all around skeevy. How they are STILL in business on Washington, I have no clue. Steer clear of this place if at all possible.

I got a Groupon for the VIP carwash, a 120 dollar value. I called soon after to set an appointment and the soonest available appointment was for six weeks later. I waited patiently, and seven weeks later (rain delay) I dropped my car off. Two hours later I picked up my car and was informed by one of the workers in broken English that my stereo didnt work anymore. Somehow they set off the anti theft system and it wouldnt function until I put in a secret code from the dealership. Thirty minutes later after they called the dealer it still wasnt fixed and I had places to go. Not only that but the carpets were still sopping wet, not just damp from a shampoo. My car now has a mildew smell from the carpets and no stereo. They also missed a spot on my wheel and several small bits inside, which I wouldnt stress about if it wasnt a 120 dollar service. Overall it wasnt a good experience.

Horrible Customer Service! I had an 8am appointment on a weekday, so I tried to leave early enough because of traffic...I was running a little late and called to tell them that. I left a message and asked them to call me back to let me know if they could still do the VIP detail...I kept calling as I was commuting to their location, BUT they didnt answer the phone and didnt call me back from the message I left. I finally got there and of course someone was in the office, but apparently she doesnt check messages or answer the phone! I was told they cant do the job and I would need to come again. I JUST DROVE 1h45m and they are telling me to come back!...they suck! There is no professionalism there because the front desk person seemed amused and was laughing at my expense. Dont waste your time and dont waste your money...go somewhere else.

I dont take my car a lot for car washes because it seems Im always short on time! So on a whim I took my car to the Oasis Hand Car Wash (across from El Tiempo) and was greeted to a pleasant surprise. I received a premium wash and yes they were busy but their customer waiting area was very relaxing that I did not mind waiting. The time passed so quickly that the next thing I knew my car was finished. I got in my car and they even cleaned behind my kids car seat!! They moved the mats and got all the dog hair up and also got the milk stains off my seats!! They definitely know what they are doing and I now come here on a regular basis. Its so convenient that I sometimes head over to El Tiempo for a bite to eat, that they even bring my car over to their companys valet attendants once its finished. Awesome car wash and experience!
