I work in the building next to car wash and I took my car there after a weekend of driving it to Austin and back to Houston. So you can just imagine the thousands of bug stains on the front of my car. I drive a white C300 and all jokes aside my car looked like it was a dark gray color. This was my first experience at this car wash so I wasn’t 100% sure how to go about it, however, I just followed a gentleman that was in front of me. I walked inside and explained to the cashier how dirty my car is and I wanted a decent car wash. The cashier explained all of the things that they would be able to do and the different price options, step by step. I dropped my car off and when I came back to pick it up, it literally looked like a different car. They were able to get all of the bug stains and nastiness off of the front of my car; they cleaned the inside, conditioned the leather, cleaned the wheels and only charged me $30.00. I have taken my car to many different car washes, just where ever it seems to be more convenient, and in the past I have paid well over $100.00 for the service I got here. I just read some of these other reviews after taking my car there and it looks like they are all pretty outdated comments – maybe they changed management, because I would honestly recommend it to everyone. I think they do a fantastic job for a very low price.

Splash will definitely be my go-to for car washes/details. Excellent job all around. Got the Deluxe Detail and I couldnt be happier. My car looks and smells amazing. It somehow feels better than new (which is no small feat, considering we have two dogs and I managed to spill some Chinese food in the backseat a few days ago). Additional pros: - The manager and his team are so nice! Talk about service with a smile. - Theyre flexible. I dropped my car off thinking Id want the Express Detail, but changed my mind about an hour later. I called them up and asked if itd be OK to change to the Deluxe, and he said no problem at all (and let me know it would take longer). - If youre getting an intensive detail that could take a few hours, theres no need to hang around on site. Theyll give you a call to let you know when your car is ready. On a related note - theyre within walking distance from River Oaks Shopping Center and a few bars (for example, Kenneallys and the Red Lion, both of which are literally 20 seconds away), so theres plenty of stuff to do nearby while you wait.

I read the reviews when I was looking for a place. I did not think they could be as bad as all the reviews, they are actually worse. The first two (and only) good reviews must be a plant by the owners. To be safe, I bought the "Executive" with the leather treatment for the seats. First, there is absolutly no difference between the $15 wash and the $50 wash. My car went in fairly clean, just some bird hits and some leaves and came out with most of the dirt cleaned off. They left leaves on the windshield, clobs of bird droppings, most of the bug hits, and lots of water spots. AND a couple of extra scratches. The car next to mine had scratches in the same spots, from the hose they drag over and around the cars. The outside manager did come out to look and saw all the crap left on the car. They did run it through again and it really made little difference. Still had bug hits, water streaks, and dirt on car. Anyone that takes their car to this place should be warned that it is better to leave your car dirty until you can go just down the streat to ANYONE else.

I called these guys this morning, and spoke with Sammy the general manager. Hadnt used them before, chose Splash primarily due to location. I had to go to work and asked if I could get a ride while they detailed my Denali. They said yes without hesitation. I was incredibly impressed with the job they did on the interior. Looked like a brand new car. They took everything out of the compartments and put my stuff in a big plastic bag in the back, so you could tell that they scrubbed the entire car, inside and out. I found a dollar and some change in the plastic bag that I did not know was in my car - props to the honesty of these guys. Would absolutely recommend this company. I have never written a review on Google before but was prompted to do so after my ride came back looking squeaky clean. Thanks guys

If I could give negative stars I would. Had my car waxed there and they scratched the black plastic between the driver window/windshield and the back passenger window/back window. After having The Finer Details guys come try and fix it they told me that it was from Splash waxing the plastic and that it could not be fixed but had to be replaced. Went to talk to manager and he basically accused me of lying and said it wasnt their fault. Also, wax left all over my car and left on plastic parts where it is now stained and wont come off. DO NOT GO HERE unless you just dont like your car. Terrible customer service. Have filed claim with insurance and they are going after Splash.

These guys have been hand washing and waxing my Lotus for about 18 months now... Not 1 scratch or swirl mark. These guys pay attention to the details. Their regular wash soap doesnt strip my wax off... clean sponges and towels, etc...They understand that just one grain of dirt stuck in a sponge or towel can scratch paint. I still hand wash it myself sometimes so I have my own hands on the car quite a bit and have found no damage. Car comes back clean and my wheels are a huge pain to get clean. Fair price too. Shout out to Sammy the manager for always having a great, friendly attitude... even when I get all nitpicky on him!

Im not a new customer here, but this time Im really disappointed about the service. I saw the crew had been working on my car but it seemed like they did not do the good job. All dirty spots still in on the inner-doors & cup holders, carpet wasnt vacuumed completely, so the food was still under my seat. Talked to them and have been told that it was because I paid for basic wash, not detail, thats why they didnt include cleaning dirty spots inside the car, only vacuuming and outside wash. Ok fine, my car didnt get a well vacuum then. Not worth for 18 bucks. Not thinking about coming back at this moment.

Ive been a patron of Mr Carwash on Kirby for more than a decade & they have recently fallen in quality to a point that drove me to look elsewhere to get my car washed. I had not visited Splash out of a long-held bruise about the location; it is where one of my favorite Mexican restaurants waa located & Ive been holding a mis-guided grudge ever since. Silly, I know, but I loved Leos. Ive now gotten over it & happily use Splash for my car wash needs. Their pricing is quite reasonable, the process is quick, & they are easy to use. Its even worth braving the Shepherd Construction tangle.
