I reserved a truck at this location to move. I selected this location because it was very close to where I was moving. On the day of the move, the location was changed to 10 miles away. So I had to travel 10 miles each way out of my way, and the pickup location did not have the packing tape I purchased. Uhaul does not care because they will gladly take my extra $1.08/mile. But they also advertise a $50 money back guarantee if they dont fulfill your reservation, which after I complained they told me it does not apply because they were able to accommodate me at the other location. Meanwhile I get charged the extra $20+ for added mileage and have to waste time going out of my way, sitting in traffic, etc. Apparently there was a class action lawsuit on the money back guarantee issue in 2008 but they are still screwing over their customers. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service and I didnt even have a chance to enter the door. I showed up at 6:45p on a Wednesday to pick up a few boxes and wrapping bubble. Instead of being open until 7pm like the website and front door stated, the owner was locking up the place out back. He shouted from over 100 feet away, "we are closed and will be open tomorrow." I approach him, instead of the other way around, and ask why they are not open until 7pm like the website and front door stated. He gives me attitude with a response saying, "It takes me time to close the place up and so we are closed." I asked him what time I should show up next time, since it clearly states that their hours of operations show they are open at this moment. He told me to come by before 6:40p...enough said.

Patrick (the associate at the front desk) was really disorganized and unprofessional. He had no sense of time management and came across very rude to everyone that walked in the door. Ive actually never seen an employee of a store act so immature and foolish in front of customers, ever. After being there for about 30 minutes (still not attended to), he calls Cassondra (the manager I suppose) to come help him......So where was Cassondra when Patrick couldnt handle 4 customers and a few phone calls by himself without stressing out and making everyone else in the store uncomfortable? I actually felt like I was on that MTV show Boiling Points or Punkd or whatever...it was so shocking it felt like a joke.

Pat and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The units are very clean and well taken care of. I was unsure of the size of unit I needed, so Pat was very helpful in showing me the different sizes so I could make my decision. I was told that if the one I chose did not work that I could change units with no problem. They do not charge a deposit which is unusual and is pretty helpful when moving between jobs. I cannot say enough about how friendly and nice him and his staff were to deal with. If and when I am back in Houston and need storage space, I will definitely go back to see Pat and his staff in Midtown. thanks again Pat for all your help and keep up the great work!

The wine storage selection is amazing. Right next to Specs and the pricing is great, every size you could want. I was looking in the area for storage and Patrick and David got me in my spot and even were able to give me a great move in special as a new customer. The fact I could rent a van and the selection of cargo vans, almost all new model and low mileage, were great. I love U-Haul and I will visit this location again.

Slow service. Dont expect to be in and out in a timely manner. When checking my van back in the person overcharged me and completely screwed up the check in process. Took 20 mins to check a van in. I called back later in the week to dispute the charges and the managers are only there 1 day out of the week. Would not recommend this place to a friend.

I feel like one star is too nice. Me and my husband reserved a trailer with them and when we got there they told us they didnt have any trailers so they sent us to the one down the street, they also had no idea of any reservation. They wouldnt give us a refund or a trailer, so whatever money we put into it is gone. Never using ANY uhaul ever again.

I can confirm that they close early. Im so frustrated that I wasted my time driving all the way out there and they were closed before 7pm. Plus theres nowhere to park! I cant say that Ill never use U-Haul, but I will never give this location my business, and neither should you.

David made my reservation and was very courteous. I called back to verify some info and Patrick spoiled my U-Haul experience with a terrible attitude. He had no problem letting me know how inconvenient my call was to him. The rental process was smooth as silk, though.

I rented one of the 5x5x10 storage units. Staff was pleasant, helpful with picking up some packing supplies and were quick. Only complaint is that its easy to drive past the street entrance on Louisiana if youre not paying attention.

Believe me she is freaking crazy. Dont give her your credit card info and dont even GO HERE!!! Over a period of 2 hours, she completely forgot our conversation and my reservation. She had no clue what was going on.

Not allowed to park personal vehicle onsite anywhere while using rented truck for 4 hours, no options offered or provided. EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT and a long walk back to location to pick up truck.

Called the line at least 5 times but everytime I would call I was on hold for like 2-5 min and when it was connected the phone just hung up in my face
