If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Let me first start off by saying that this pollo loco is completely atrocious compared to the original Mexican ones... Hell even the ones in San Antonio are much better. When we first arrived, our attention was immediately drawn onto how irresponsible the staff was and how dry the chicken was. As I looked through the menu, I just laughed in complete shock as to how damn expensive the items on the menu were. I ordered a burrito as well as a salad for my mother. When I bit into it, I was disgusted with how dry and how messy the food was as well as how hard and disgusting the tortilla tasted. My mothers salad came with some "cilantro" dressing that tasted nothing like the name implies; it was more of a guacamole with expired sour cream. I let my nephew order a burrito but he didnt want some of the things it included and they messed up the order not once, but twice. As he bit into it, I saw that he was about to vomit and I saw why: there was hot sauce that we asked they didnt put. Out of curiosity, I asked the manager " why is the food so expensive?" And was responded with a very stupid answer and a rude tone. Service is no good and for those who thinks its good Mexican food; I hope that you still have the decency to go at least to a taco stand and have the same amount of food with better taste for a huge fraction of the price. I will never be back to this pollo loco and I hope I can save some of you from wasting your money.

It was just OK as far as I was concerned, nothing spectacular. Service was just OK. No one went above and beyond what their job was. As a matter of fact before we left I went to use the restroom and walking in the bathroom door I slipped on water that was on the floor from the sink being too shallow and the water saver on faucet that made you get wet just washing your hands. Anyway after using the restroom and coming out of the stall an older lady did the same exact thing I did, slip. So before I left the restaurant I went to the cashier counter and stood there waiting on one of the 4 or 5 people behind the counter acknowledge me, none of them ever did but the man cooking the chicken and also looked like he was the only one REALLY working there came and asked me if he could help me. I told him that someone was going to slip and fall if the water was not moped up or something. He thanked me for bringing it to his attention and immediately went to get a mop while the other little girls were busy being confused. Was the food bad? No, it wasnt. Will I ever go back? No. There are too many places this day and time to go back and give someone a second chance to make a good first impression.

Terrible! I was a huge el pollo loco fan when I loved in southern California...eating there at least twice a week. I was so pumped when I found out one was opening in humble......the first time I came the resturant was a mess...salsa bar was destroyed, and the food was not like I had remembered at all.....had multiple bones in my burrito...burnt chicken...was bad....I gave them a pass thinking it would be better next time as they had just recently opened.....so months later Im back and the first bite of my burrito had a huge bone in it....the resturant is still a mess, worse than before.....such a dissappointment. I will not return to this location ever again. I hope this particular location is just poorly managed and this isnt a reflection of where the franchise has gone as a whole......sucks.

Pedi un paquete familiar y la empleada me dijo q se tardaban 20 minutos le pregunte por dos piezas de pollo pecho y alas me pregunto le dije que estaba bien lo pedi en combo con papas fritas y arroz y con tortillas de maiz esto fue en drive true cuando llego a casa me di cuenta que me pusieron 3 chiken strips con ensalada y papas fritas definitivamente no era mi orden

Tacos Al Carbon were excellent. I added the creamy green dressing to make them even better. Loved the warm chips too. Service was friendly and fast as well. If I had only one complaint, Id have to say that all the tables in the dining room were dirty. I did find one that was clean so it really wasnt that big of a deal for me. However if it were busy and I were looking for a table I might have been a little bothered. Other than that everything else is great. It takes me back to my time living in California.

Authentic Mexican grilled chicken??? This is the worst chicken Ive ever tried. I can not understand how they dare to say "authentic mexican" I had a 8pcs family meal to go and as soon as I opened the box, that smell was horrible, chicken wasnt fully cooked and the charro beans are a prank!! Looked like they opened a can of charro beans from the store and dumped it into a to go container. They tasted horrible. Now I understand why the place was empty when I walked in. First and last time I eat this.

Been to this location 5 times and every time I have gone service has been bad. Forget going through the drive thru, they will absolutely forget part of your meal. My last visit was on November 1st 2015, I like their food and figured Id see if service had improved since last time... nope. The lady at the drive thru wasnt friendly and if I hadnt checked my food before driving off they would have forgot to give me chips. Food is great but they need to figure out what the deal is with their service.

I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the register and take my order, when a guy finally come over he asked what I wanted so I told him I wanted a family meal and he said "you cant order that" I said why? He said because they had to many chicken orders that I could order burrito salad or anything that wasnt chicken pieces. Why would I stay where clearly customers isnt their focus. They have rude people working, restroom was dirty, really bad experience I dont plan to go back

Really terrible place. Got here at 730pm, chicken was dry and cooled, the condiments were slightly frozen and looked nasty. The chicken and shrimp tostada we ordered was basically a wheat tortilla not a tostada. This so called tostada had little of the dry and cold chicken and ONLY 3 pieces of shrimp... not worth the time and money. I shouldve just gotten the chicken. Ugh

Crew up in Los Angeles eatting Pollo Loco and now that I live in Texas for 4 years I couldnt find any until recent. Food brings back many wonderful memories to my life and the good here is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Will be coming here more often since their is also a Mall nearby. Cheap and affordable for a family of 3+.Thank you for coming to Texas. I missed you guys ^-^ <3

The food was very good the service was horrible rude disrespectful my first-time to visit i will not be back we already had our food went back to get more tortillas stood there waiting for someone to wait on me asked if anyone was working the regester they said they were to backed up to wait on me and continued to ignore me .
