Yesterday my best friend got married and looked beautiful...no thanks to Roberta who was booked far in advance with a team of ladies to do the hair and makeup of the bride and bridal party. She confirmed with the bride prior and swore she would be there. Yesterday morning, she was no where to be found. We waited a bit then began to call. Her phone would be on, then off. No calls, no responding to text messages and definitely no show. Luckily the bride and her sister are pretty make-up savvy and between 5 women, we were able to give her the exact look she wanted but no bride should have to do that! We all called Ulta, Deerbrook mall, anywhere with a makeup counter only to be told they couldnt fit her in. Today she texted the bride back stating she was sick over it and offered to get a photographer and perform post-wedding make-up. That is sweet but the issue here is the unprofessionalism displayed. What would have been so hard about texting/calling and saying something came up or better yet, having the others booked to go show up or call so we could try to get other arrangements. She may do beautiful work but what good does that do when you arent dependable?

I was on leave and happened to find this on Google. I called (didnt know that an online appointment was the way to go) and was lucky enough for Roberta to accommodate my situation. From the moment I arrived, I loved how quaint the salon was. She was very friendly and personable. She made me feel like weve known each other forever. She asked me what I was looking for and listened to my visual references and thoughts. She used her expertise to give me the most beautiful cinnamon red, which will fade into a nice brown instead of an orange. She explained every step of why she was using the products she was using so that I had no reservations about the process. Roberta was happy to give me what I asked for but had suggestions and they were perfect! I am very thankful that I found her and that she took me in! I will definitely go out of my way to make the trip to see her again. Highly highly recommend this salon. No review can give her enough credit!!!

I thought Roberta was amazing when I went to the trial for my wedding. She was supposed to be at our venue at 10 and ignoring our calls and texts the last 2 hours. I cannot recommend her to anyone as she has left me and my entire wedding party screwed with less than 2 hours.
