I am not going back!! We used to love going to this location 2 to 3 times a month but our experience on Saturday was over the limit. We got there and got our usual table by the restrooms. The rudest waitress i ever met came by and said " what u want" rolling her eyes. I felt like saying a new waitress. We ordered. The menudo, a enchilada plate, tamale plate and i wanted to try the caldo pollo. The waitress says " you know thats alot of food" i was thinking there are 3 of us thats not that much but i just said we can eat it thank you. She disappeared for about 10 mins and brought us a scraggly basket of broken chips that tasted old. We asked for mild salsa as my mother in law gets heartburn with hot salsa and were informed this was all they had. Every other time we have been accommodated. After another 15 mins the food came.( which is always good.) i received the menudo, my wife the enchiladas and my mother in law the tamales. I took the pollo caldo. She gave me a plate with scant onions, cilantro, and chili on it. I immediately asked for more onions which i never received. About halfway through she came back with tortillas. Which i had already asked another waitress for. The other waitress also brought butter more chips and filled our drinks as our waitress was quite the magician as she dissapeared. As our waitress finally appeared she handed me the check and it was $34.68 which is resonable especially with the extra dish. I gave her 40 dollars to which she never came back with the change. I assume she thought it was her tip. And to that shs gets the middle finger. We will never ever be back.

Horrible Experience If you could give them zero stars I would. My wife and I went to eat there a Friday night about 11:00pm. As soon a as we got into the door a guy approached to us asking $5 each just to get in there. We told him that we were there just to eat, not to dance. He said that we would not have to pay if we were just eating. They sat us on one end of the restaurant, away from the music. We ordered a carne asada for each of us. About 10 minutes after we ordered, the waiter brought the plates. When I tasted the meet, it had a horrible flavor and my wife agreed on that. The meet tasted and smelled like if it was cooked in a pot instead of the grill. We decided not to eat the meet. When I call the waiter and told him about it, he said "well let me call the manager" when the manager arrived and I explained the condition of the meet, she said "well, we always cook the meet the same way so our meet is good" implying that we were the ones with the problem. The manager was not helpful at all, so we decided pay the check and leave the place. I would never go back to that place. I would not recommend it to anybody. You have been warn if you wanna eat there.

I was really looking forward to eating here, but my experience here was the worst. I DO NOT recommend eating here. It took us 15 mins to be attended by a waitress! Aracely (name on receipt) would completely ignore our table until finally she came and offered refills. She visited our table probably 2 times compared to the 20 times she attended the table behind ours. They were a slightly bigger group and Caucasian. It took us forever to get a menu and chips!!! People that arrived after us were already eating while we were trying to get Aracelys attention so that she would come and take our orders. The rice was disgusting, not authentic Mexican rice at all! it tasted like it had been days old, tasted like cardboard! My guiso was pretty good, and I did like the homemade tortillas. But that was all that I liked. If you are a smaller group DO NOT EAT THERE, you will most likely be ignored!!! Go with a group of 10 or more and you will have a better experience, and will be treated like royalty because all them crappy waiters and waitresses want is good tips. I will never go there again! EVER!!!!

If I could give it a half star I would. I have been going to Los Lupes for years. Definitely not for the service. They do have a decent happy hour if you can get the bartenders attention. They will look straight at you but not acknowledge your presence. You have to ask. The bar is always sticky and filled with dirty glasses. I sat on the side of the bar and watched how the glasses were washed. OMG the water is suppose to be blue with sanitizer, but it was dirty and dark. I never saw him change the water once. The bartenders disappear several minutes before happy hour is over needless to say not giving last call for happy hour. The staff gives the imprint that you and you$$$ are there for them rather than they there for your dining pleasure. The restaurant could be so much better if they got rid of the staff they have and hired a fresh staff of servers. Trained them correctly and spoke English a little better. The food is good for the most part but there is always room for improvement.

Last night my husband and I ate here. Worst service ever! The girl that seated us, I asked her what would she recommend as this was our first time. She said, "I am not a waiter." Felt like leaving but decided to stay. The chips were hard. Took a while for someone to take our order. We got our food but it tasted as if it was taken from the refrigerator and had no flavor. Our waiter never came back to ask if everything was ok until long after we finished. He brought our bill but had the totals mixed up. After we told him about it he said next time he would wear his glasses. That was not funny. Where is chef Ramsey to revamp this place? We love Mexican food and like to try a different one each time. I would not recommend this one....horrible experience!

My husband and I have actually really enjoyed eating here. The service is hit and miss though. The weekends are better, not sure if its just a different crew or whether its just more staff to handle everyone. Theyre either really friendly or they look annoyed that were taking up their time. We get pretty much the same items each time. Enchiladas or tacos and occaisionally something different. The chille relleno batter was terrible one night. Havent had it again, tasted old/dirty. I love that the salsa is a little spicy and not just tomato sauce in a cup. We always leave full and satisfied. They just need a cleaner look and more friendly staff.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If you like to have dinner in the turmoil of loud noisy places, then this is your place. For dinner is to noisy unless you are drunk and ready to Salsa your night out. They play Hispanic music (I love Hispanic music) but it was just too loud, more like a club less like a restaurant. For breakfast--- ummmmm there is not a lot of choices (I think it has to do with culture) and the place is extremely dark, again resembling a night club. The food is ok, seem like authentic but it actually text mex. I know authentic food I am Mexican
