We come to this Firehouse location more than a few times per year. I always mention to my fiancé that I need to write a good review for this location while dining in. Im making good on that today. From the second you walk through the door youre greeted by EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE with a loud and cheerful "welcome to Firehouse". Ordering is always fast, easy with orders always coming out a few minutes after weve selected our drinks at the Coke Freestyle machine and have picked out our favorite flavor/brand of chips from their large selection. While dining here its hard not to have a smile on your face as you listen in on the conversations employees are having; which is usually about the sports program that is currently playing on one of their many TVs. Its comforting to feel that employees appear to be very happy working at this establishment. Employees are very attentive and engage with customers while cleaning and tidying up the dining area. Our food was prepared as ordered this visit. We have had visits where our order was wrong. Staff has always apologized and corrected order in a timely manner. When they make mistakes they are kind enough to offer us vouchers for a free sub on our next return. When we are finished eating it has become entertaining on every occasion for us to get up to throw our trash away only to be stopped in our tracks by employees to take our trash from us and inform us that were supposed to let them handle that part of our visit. I cant help by smile as I am writing this. Never has this Firehouse location disappointed us and I look forward to returning. I also want to mention as a side note that on another occasion at this same location that I have personally seen managers testing employees knowledge away from customers in a far corner of the dining area on their menu items as well as questions based on employees memory of what goes into a particular menu item.

I will start by saying I rarely ever leave feedback/reviews for places. & I have never walked in to a restaurant and walked out without even being greeted or helped. But I did when I walked into firehouse subs in lewisville on 6/10. When I walked in around lunch time there was 3 or 4 employees behind the counter. There were no ustomers in line to order. I walked up to the counter every employee looked at me. The one I was standing directly in front of looked at me several times. Not one of them greeted me, or said 1 word to me. I stood there waiting for someone to say something to me instead I just got to stand there and listen to them all be snarky to each other. At that time I just walked out. I do not want to do business with a store that not just has little customer service but ZERO. I am not looking for a handout or a free meal. But I would really appreciate that someone in management confronts those associates and teaches them how to be a good employee with customer service.

Not sure what happened at this location, but it has gone downhill fast. The service used to be amazing! Now youre lucky if you even get a greeting when walking in the door. As I waited for my sandwich the 2 young men working turned 3 customers away by telling them there was only 2 of them working and it would be a 20 minute wait for their sandwiches. Mind you, there were only 3 people in line ahead of these people they turned away. What kind of place turns customers away like that?! The guys working were sloppy, unenergetic and unwelcoming. Im sure this place has lost a lot of business because of the poor customer service as of late. Ill be going to a different firehouse location from now on.

Im a major carnivore, and maybe six or eight months ago, a friend of mine took me here and the place just astonished me. Great subs, a phenomenal Philly, and its just one of those places you dont see a lot of anymore. Whats the best way to order at a new restaurant? I usually ask the cashier or the sub maker what the most popular sandwich is. Most people ask whats good, but thats kind of a loaded question. If you ask them what the number-one-selling dish is, that tends to be more compelling than what they think is good.

We go to this location at two or three times a month. The food is great, as expected with Firehouse Subs. But this location is very unique. The staff here are unbelievably nice and treat you like family. You seriously wont understand until you go there. And dont try to throw your own trash away cause they wont let you! They insist on cleaning the table for you. We have done multiple carryout orders and they often will ask if you need help carrying it out to the car. This is how customer service should be done.

I will never go to this location again. I ordered online because I was in a rush and didnt want to wait. When I arrived I told them I had a pick up order. The guys goes to the back and brings the sheet that has my order on it and told me that they didnt have it ready yet. I would understand if they were busy. But the reason was they didnt bother to check to see if they had any online order. Also, the two girls that were working need an attitude adjustment.

Maybe I have gone at the wrong time but I submit my order online in the evenings. It takes me 10 minutes after ordering to get to the location, when I get there they have not even begun making my sandwich, so I have to wait 15 minutes for them to make it. They are young kids thats have the tv or stereo blasting and friends hanging out. My sandwich has never been that great. I have given them 2 trys and same experience both times. I wont be back.

BAD NEW MGMNT!! I used to go to this location ALL THE TIME! and I loved it, used to have a great manager who was nice and kept the place clean. This afternoon, it took those boys 20 mins to give me my sandwich, and as I waited for them to stop playing and looking at womens behinds i almost missed my work commitments. the counter smells funny and its not being well kept, some housekeeping wouldnt hurt!

Ive been to this firehouse sub location in Lewisville plenty of times, but went close to closing time and night crew was very rude and on a regular day I say they have the best staff around. Last night was night a good night, I was being rushed out the door so instead of me sitting down enjoying my food I asked to make it to go after I originally asked to dine in.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This location/store is one of the most customer service oriented businesses I have ever experienced. My boyfriend and I love going here. Both the owners and the employees are wonderful and personable. The food is fresh and always made with care, and all customers are treated with the utmost respect. I would definitely suggest popping in.

Firehouse is what it is, but I will go out of my way to come to this location if Im in the mood for a sandwich. The staff are great, friendly, courteous, and attentive - they seem to know most of the regulars by name and its rare to see anyone leaving without a smile; not what I expect from a chain sandwich shop, but definitely a pleasant surprise.
