THIS SALON, I CAN TELL SHOWS ALOT OF FAVORITISM. I was looking for a great salon in the DFW to straighten my hair. I decided to give this salon a try. My first experience was good, so I made another appointment. I went in for the second time on Thursday and I saw how unprofessional the salon really is. I booked an appointment online with Yoradie. When I got there another lady washed me, that was fine because thats the same procedure as the last time. I was asking a question about my hair and she said, "no mami, me dont speak english. That was not a problem but when she finishes I go to her chair and she combs my hair with this very small toothe comb, I have very very thick hair so that comb was too small. After that she starts to put hair rollers in my head. I said no, thats not what I booked online and I booked with Yoradie. She nudges my shoulder and then they all started speaking in Spanish and laughing. They tried to give me another stylist that Id never seen before to straighten it and I told them no I wanted what I booked. They didnt even look at my appointment. Finally Yoradie started my hair after talking for a long time with the client who she had already finished. I sit and waited. She flat ironed my hair, all the while burning my scalp and she did not care. When she finished, I paid and Im good about tipping but that day I did not. Not only will I advise the people I referred to the salon but I will not be going back. Here is a tip, be more professional.

I went to get a blowout today. I arrived at 10:30 for my scheduled appointment. I received my wash and set as usual. After my hair was dry from under the dryer, I was seated and was waiting for my blow out services at 12 noon. So I waited, 1:30 comes around, and the owner finishes the customer in front of me. Then she goes on the seat a customer that arrived in the building at 11:45. Then tells me Im next in line. Im confused. So Ive been in your shop for 3 hours now and I still have to wait on services, clearly thats not business. I assume that her and the client were close friends. So i allowed her to go ahead and get her hair done, but I wasnt going to pay a minute later. Oh yeah, I love the excuse of how the owner said it was a missing stylist fault while they are backed up. As an owner take some accountability and be honest. If you want your friend to go first then admit it. People have other things to do. Spending 3 hours in your shop is more than enough time to be there. This wasnt the first time Ive experienced favoritism in this shop. Im done. She doesnt have to worry about my business anymore. So I walked out with a roller set after 3 hours. I could have done this at home. Wasted time .

I scheduled an appointment online for 10:00am for my 10 yr old daughter. The original time slot for the service was 1 hr. 4 HOURS later I decided to go get my child considering that we had family in town and I didnt want her to spend an ENTIRE Saturday in a salon. When I arrived my daughter, along with about 15 other women were sitting in chairs with their hair half finished and there were NO stylist out on the floor. The owner then came from the back proceeded to tell me that "her hair took too long to dry under the dryer", I then told her that my daughter had text me at 11:30 and said that she was done with the dryer. She then told me "oh yea we are just so busy, its Mothers Day weekend" To that I wish I had replied, " Mothers Day is an ANNUAL holiday, for which businesses usually are prepared for". Long story short she didnt apologize, and charged me 25 dollars for my daughters hair which was only washed. I would never recommend this place to anyone who doesnt have at least 5 hours to ensure completion of your hair.

Kathy did a wonderful job on my daughters hair. I moved out here a year ago and couldnt find anybody who was able to tame my daughters hair and I must say she did an outstanding job!! The price was reasonable for me, maybe high for others. But my daughter has long hair, so I believe the longer your hair is the higher it goes. The time frame was a little over 2 hours with an appointment, but thats not a big deal to me because great work takes time and that wasnt bad to say she was by herself. So expect to sit, bring a book and your phone charger!! We will be back and highly recommend this salon!!

RUN AWAY DONT ENTER THIS PLACE....MY HAIR WAS THRIVING WITH CATTY,DUE TO A DISAGREEMENT I CAME HERE..IN THE 2MONTHS I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE,I HAVE A HOLE IN THE BACK OF MY HAIR AND HAIR BREAKAGE ALL AROUND.. BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS PLACE A TRIM TURNED INTO LEFT SIDED LAYERS...WTH? I ASKED FOR DEMI PERMANENT HAIR COLOR DUE TO MY HAIR NOT HOLDING COLOR WELL...I BELIEVE YURALY GAVE ME PERMANENT COLOR AND IT DESTROYED MY HAIR IM BACK WITH CATTY,THANK GOD..BUT ITS GONNA TAKE MONTHS TO RESTORE MY HAIR FROM HER DESTRUCTION ......PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOUR TIME

Moving from New York to Dallas was exciting with the exception of finding a salon that could manage my crazy African hair. And then I met Yoradi. One word... Amazing! My hair has never been better! I absolutely love how full and shiny and healthy my hair looks which is why I drive an hour to go to this place to get my hair done. And, I get tons of compliments for my hair. Friendly staff and great service, what more could a girl ask for

Favoritism!!! I guess if I wasnt black I wouldnt have been the first one to show up for my appointment and the day to leave the shop. I used to enjoy going the the shop but the customer service went down hill. One day After treating me so bad and talking about me in Spanish they had a nerve to send me an invite to a promotional event smh

I just relocated to Dallas from NY and I must admit Im pleasantly surprised at how good this salon is. The staff is friendly, down to earth, and professional. I had a great experience!!! I would have given then 5 Stars but it took 3 hours for a wash and set. Great work but they need more staff.

I love this place! The ladies are super nice and down to earth. Made me feel welcome and confident that my hair would hold up. Iv been natural for 7 years and my hair gets frizzy at the site of water. My hair lasted 3 weeks and didnt feel over powered with product! I will be back!!

I go here every 2 weeks that is how good Yoradie will straighten your hair! You will have to give 3 hours of your time when you go to the salon Ive timed it every time I go and thats how long it takes. But I would say it is worth the time.

I love this salon. Your hair will look and feel great for weeks. Staff is friendly and professional. You will be there a while, but youll love your hair. Ok prices. The only con is, I wish they had one closer to where I live!
