I have gone to Salon Renee before and have always had a pleasant experience. This time was no different. I went to basically get the "Victoria Beckham Bob" something that I thought would have been so simple. The girl that helped me I believe her name was Rihanna (or sounded like that) was very sweet. We talked as she chopped away my hair. My customer service experience is 10 she was great, but I showed her an exact photo of what I wanted. What turned out was not at all what I wanted! She basically butchered my hair to some weird asymetrical flap thing going on. It was awful. I was actually in a state of shock so I just paid and didnt complain. Which is probably my own fault. I should have alerted the management, but that is why I am writing this review. As she was cutting my hair she did tell me she did awful in school due to the fact that she just went with how she saw the photo. The salon itself is a decent salon, but I think they need to do a better job at hiring some stylist. I have had to go and fix it and my new hairstylist even told me how bad my hair was. So now I am stuck with this ridiculously short hair cut and waiting for it to grow until it comes back to the length for me to get the hair cut I originially wanted.

I have gone to Salon Rene 3 times in the last 3-4 years. I didnt get to go as often as I had hoped to because I lived quite a distance. Recently moved back to North Dallas and was beyond excited to learn that Aubree was still there. She is THE ONLY one I trust with my hair! All the staff is amazing and sweet. Their salon is super cute. I would describe it as "Country Chic" Their prices are reasonable and the products they use are amazing. I live in Carrollton and will drive all the way to Corinth because they are worth the miles and the money. I recommend them, especially Aubree, to all my family and friends :) Keep up all the great work, ladies!

Bryana is amazing!!! She listens to what YOU want!!! I've been coming here for years and am VERY picky about hair color and how my hair is cut. Bryana takes the time to address all my little quirks and issues and is HAPPY to do it. I have never felt like I'm asking too much and I know I'm very particular about my hair. Bryana's knowledge of hair care, products and styling, ESPECIALlY COLOR is unbelivable. She has the answer for all types of hair no matter how difficult you may think your situation is. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Super customer service, same staff year after year, ciche retro decor. No matter your age you will feel like the most important person of the day in the chair of your stylist. Ive been going to Aubree Baxter for years and am always uber-happy when I leave. I am 45 years old and she always does my hair leaving me feeling very pretty and stylish. Not always crazy about the type of music played there and it tends to be too loud but I am sure if I asked they would change it. I have referred about 10 people to Salon Rene and all I have heard is great feedback. VERY grateful for this place!!

I have been coming here for almost a year and I love it. Everyone is so sweet and super knowledgeable. I change my hair color quite often and Whitney is always there with great advice and support. I appreciate how they will consult with each other when they arent sure about the best way to color my hair. I feel my hair is in safe hands with them. The receptionists are super sweet too, very welcoming. The boutique has the cutest clothes, jewelry, and items in it, it is a great place to find unique gifts.

This salon is one of those little gems of the Far North Dallas Area business community. Brilliant design. Great accommodations. Wonderful stylists. Awesome array of products and services. Ive been coming to Bryana since she was a single stylist in 2007 and have watched this business grow and flourish because of her wonderful attention to detail and because she genuinely cares about her clients. I started bringing my 2 year old daughter here about a year ago. Mandy trimmed her bangs and was so sweet and patient with her. After about the 4th time I took my daughter I decided to let Mandy do my hair. The staff is SO friendly and Mandy does such an awesome job. She always ask questions about what I want, and how I normally do my hair. Im never rushed and always feel like a priority. Mandy has done my hair 3 times now I believe, and I love her! I will continue to go to Salon Rene!!!

Salon Rene is the BEST salon in Denton county! All of the stylists are experienced professionals who make hair "magic" happen! I have been going to this salon for MANY years and I have always been happy with my hair! My stylist always listens to exactly what I want and makes it happen! The atmosphere is warm and friendly with drinks and snacks to boot! I would reccommend this salon to ALL of my friends! In fact, EVERYONE who I have reccommended has become a repeat customer!

Salon Rene and Pink Gypsy Boutique is a great place to get your hair cut and maybe try a "new"color. Then walk next door and get something new to wear from the boutique. The ladies at the salon are always so gracious and make you feel so comfortable. Aubree the hairstylist is definitely a magician, because she works her magic every time I sit in her chair. Briana has done a great job keeping the focus on the customers.

I love getting my hair done by Kyndall! It always comes out looking fabulous. She is fast, friendly, and professional and always willing to answer any questions or concerns I may have. Even if Im not quite sure what I should do to my hair, Kyndall seems to get it just right every time. She really takes to the time to get to know you, so she can help make sure that you get the hairstyle that you were looking for.

This was my first time to go in. They were very friendly. Since it was my first time in they gave me a tour. My stylist was very friendly. She listened to what i wanted and cut my hair that way. Most salons listen but cut it how they want not this one. When we were done she showed me the products she used and was not pushy about me getting them. I will defiantly come back and will send my friends here.

BEST SALON EVER. The stylists really take the time to get to know you AND your hair before they do a thing. Ive been going to Salon Rene for over six years now and I refuse to go anywhere else. Bryana is THE BEST...she not only does hair, but she owns and runs the salon, trains the girls, keeps everyone happy and looking fabulous. Plus they just opened the cutest little boutique next door! :)
