WAS going there to get my hair cut and colored until...I had to wait over 1 hour for my services to be performed. I wanted to walk out but needed to have my hair done so unfortunately I waited. The stylist knew I was there and even made acknowledgement of my presense to me personally. Long story short, there was absolutely no consideration given to my wait time, no reason or explaination given as to why I had to wait, etc. etc. I will have to say though, through my OWN research I was able to reach a "manager" at another salon who did apologize and refund my money. She asked if I had been offered a hand massage and some other things that they are supposed to do there and my response was no, I just had to sit and wait. Needless to say, they will not be given another chance after that experience. The cut and color was good but not exceptional.

Ive always been a fan of Aveda products, so naturally when I moved to the DFW area, I looked for a great Aveda salon and eventually found Lemongrass. Not only is the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful before your services even begin, but I really couldnt ask for a better stylist in Taylor. Unlike many stylists Ive been to in the past who sort of have his/her own agenda when it comes to your hair, Taylor listens to exactly what you want and offers helpful advice when youre looking for it. And the results? Well, lets just say youll leave looking absolutely fabulous and feeling like the proverbial million bucks after youve had a hand and scalp message, not to mention the relaxing hot towel service thats all part of the deal. :)

Ive been a customer here for years and have never been disappointed, even when going between stylists. Ive moved around the country quite a bit in the past 12 years and have discovered the best way to keep my hair looking great is to stick with Aveda salons where the stylists go through rigorous and ongoing training and they can keep your hair formulas on file. Ive been going to Amber for a few years now, and not only is she good with color, she recently gave me the best haircut Ive ever had. I finally have a great medium-length cut that works with my naturally wavy hair and can be washed, combed and air-dried and still look like I fussed over it!

I started coming here last year (2011) because i heard it was under new management. This place has improved quite exponentially since it has changed names. I was a little hesitant because I had a bad experience back in 2009, but heard I should give it a try. I came in and was greeted immediately, my wait was less than 5 minutes. Well, My hairdresser Taylor did a phenomenal job, She was SO sweet and exceeded my expectations. Im very picky but my cut and color came out amazing, I couldnt be happier. Ill definitely be coming back...Thank you Taylor!

Ladies, dont waste your time and money. The stylist are sloppy and dont deliver your basic color and highlight request. I could have the same outcome with a 10 dollar box of hair coloring at the grocery store. The lovely location is not a reflection of the services expected. I asked for 2 colors and got one flat color that was not even from the redish roots to the almost black tips. Not to mention the colorist made my blonde hair almost black, i requested light brown, then charged me $200 bucks.

I have been trying to get a particular haircut since 2010. I showed Lexie a picture of it and she replicated it perfectly cleaning up all the choppy layers I had and giving me the perfect bangs I had been after for five years! It wasnt just a fluke either, every time I go back to see her I get a perfect cut with shampoo and style and even a makeup touchup in less than an hour.

Always perfect cuts and colors by LEXIE. Have been a customer since they were located in the town square. Staff and management are responsive & professional. Class acts, here. Great value, not to mention it being in Southlake, where they could easily command much higher prices.
