I have been going to The Boardroom since they opened. I literally have not gone anywhere else for a hair cut since. I also take both my teenage sons with me. We went today and I received the worst service I have ever received there. My hair cut was the usual outstanding cut I have come to expect. My complaint has nothing to do with the haircut. My appt: (for the three of us) was to have been at 5 pm. They called at 3:00 pm and asked us to be there at 4:45, I said no problem. We were there at 4:35 pm. They took me in at about 5:00 pm and finished me about 15 minutes later, I decided to forego the shampoo so they could get to my sons faster. Well thats where the issue started. 45 minutes later they take the first son. When they finished him about 40 minutes later we had all three of us been there about 2 hours, all the while watching other men coming and going getting their hair cut. I think they just messed up the appt times, but after two hours, we simply had to go, so I told them to nix the second son and I would just pay for our two cuts. They told me that they were sorry but they had gotten behind due to the weather. They could have told me that earlier and no big deal, but when I call and say i would like a 5 pm appt for three express cuts and they say sure come on in at 4:45, I kind of expect them to get us all three in at - well 5 pm or thereabouts. The wather at 5 pm should have nothing to do with the appts I made at 11 am. I have literally never written a bad review for anyplace in my life. I am very down to earth and never complain I just go with the flow, but I was really put out tonight and especially since I have been going here all these years. The stylists here are very good, I have gone to Lacy, Fernando and Felicia all of whom are excellent. So I give them kudos, but the appointment management certainly could use some help. Im not going to say I wont be back, but there is a new place going in across the street in a month or so, so maybe Ill try them on for size.

This place is amazing! I am in my early 30s and had the same haircut since high school. My wife and I agreed it was time for a change but I wasnt sure where to go. I had always got the cheapest haircut I could find and never been to a stylist. The Boardroom changed my whole perspective on the grooming experience. Right when I walked in, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. I was greeted and offered a drink. While I waited for my appointment the staff chatted with me and made me feel as if I had been going there for years. I told the stylist, Fernanda, the kind of look I was going for and she took it from there. The result was incredible. Not only did she do a great job cutting my hair but she also gave me tips on how to style and what products to use (and not use) given my hair type. I went with the Benchmark service which was excellent and perfect for a little relaxation at the end of the day. I have had my haircut there for several months and every time get compliments. Literally, every time. I have had appointments with several different stylists and they all did a fantastic job. Fernanda is my go-to there but, honestly I cant say enough nice things about Sonya, Rikki, Kayla, and the rest of the staff. If you are looking to refresh your look or if you just want to treat yourself or someone else, this is your place. You wont regret it.

I went for a beard trim. I asked for their most experienced beard stylist ("Terry") and explained that my beard was VERY important to me and I didnt want someone who didnt do beard work regularly working on it. They assured me "Terry" was the person to use, the best! I show up and now the Manager explains Ive got someone ELSE named "Clover", as "Terry" was "specifically requested" AFTER I made my reservation. Sooooo now despite my requests above and my reservation with "Terry"... Ive got someone who doesnt regularly do beards? WTF? That should have been my clue to RUN! But I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt... I explained AT LENGTH I was working on a "small box beard and didnt want to lose a lot of length, just trim up the long stragglers." I even showed SEVERAL pictures for gawds sake of what I was working on! I explained as much as I reasonably could. Since I had to take my glasses off for the trim... I couldnt see what was about to be inflicted on my beard and done next... Which was DESTROYING my MONTHS of careful beard work! Ive literally been set back months! A full inch was cut off in some places!!! Its the worst shaping Ive seen, especially given the lengths I went to trying to clearly explain and show what I was after!

I go here every chance I get, which is about every 4 weeks but I wish it was weekly! Ashley is amazing, I always walk out of here with a little more swagger than I had before. If you have the time, go with a Benchmark instead of the Express. Its a few more bucks, but totally worth it. They offer free beers, coffee, and water bottles, the waiting area is very comfortable, I always go on Sunday during football season. Id hang out here all day if they would let me, which Im sure they would. Ashley rocks! So does Hawk girl!

First time trip to this place on the recommendation of a coworker. Very clean, laid back establishment. Kristen at the front helped explain the services they offered and made me feel welcome. Sonya did a great job cutting my hair. She explained some mistakes my last barber made and helped repair some of the damage. My hair is pretty unmanageable normally, but she did a great job cutting it and helped explain how to style it. I also received some samples to use at home. I will differently return.

Terrible receptionist, I was part of a party scheduled for a wedding to get full service treatments. First I was told I wasnt on their list but they could fit me in. Then I was told sorry we cant do massages today, so I asked for a pedicure, sorry we cant do that today, so out of their entire menu all they could do was the full service haircut which I didnt need. So I sat there waiting for my friends. I WONT be back, I was told this was the greatest place but what a disappointment

My hair cut looks great and was done correctly and not rushed. But when it came to the beard trim and mustache trim thats where things went kinda bad. The line that goes down the sideburns to my cheeks are different angles on either side of my face. My mustache on one side now has a slight up sweep before passing the corner of my mouth,which the other side does not have. Love the atmosphere of the place but this experience may have unfortunately ruined this establishment for me.
