If I could give this business a negative star, that would be more fitting. For anyone in the LC and surrounding areas. DO NOT USE Classic Lube Copmplete Auto Repair at 3371 FM 518 Rd E, League City, TX 77573. My husband mistakenly put gas in his diesel F250. That was the nearest mechanic from the gas station he was at. He had a friend drive him to the repair shop and on the owners advice (Moe), Matt was told not to get a tow and to drive the few blocks to his shop and the truck should be fine. So he did and it turned out not to be fine. The gas tank was empied, 4 fuel injectors needed to be changed, the engine needed to be flushed, along with other things. Our bill turned out to be almost $6,000. We had suspicions about the owner from the begininng. The truck was never ready when proimised and the owner would never return our calls. The truck ended up being ready over 3 weeks after we were told it would be. It was my husbands mistake so we paid our bill and moved on with our lives. Well 3 months later, now the truck is having problems. He took it to another mechanic who said the fuel injectors are bad. WHAT???!!! The new mechanic also asked if we had ever put gas in the truck. He said he could tell because it was never flushed out. WHAT??!!! We refused obviously to take it back to the original mechanic due to the horrible job that was done the first time. The orginal mechanic did give us 4 new fuel injectors that we had to pay the new mechanic to put on. Also, Moe- the original mechanic charged us $300 plus labor for each of the 4 fuel injector. The new mechanic said it was $675 total for parts and labor!!! Obviously we got ripped off and esentially paid $6,000 for the mechanic to empy the gas tank and basically do nothing else!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE OR GET IT FIXED! I bought a 2009 Jetta from this place and was told it had a 3 month warranty on the engine/transmission. The only thing wrong with the the car was the a/c took a bit to get cold. Long story short MOE THE GUY WHO RUNS THIS PLACE told me if I get it he would fix whatever is wrong with the air. After buying it, I noticed a oil leak, he told me he would take care of it and the air. THEY HAD THE CAR FOR NEARLY 3 WEEKS AND DIDNT FIX ANYTHING! They actually MADE THE PROBLEM WORSE! They forgot to re hook up sensors on the car and even left me with a check engine light on (wasnt there when I took it to him) this place is a joke! Stay away! DO NOT TRUST THEM! I have other people I know who have problems with their car after they have worked on it too! STAY AWAY! Dont trust their mechanics they will screw your car up! And straight up lie! I even have pics of the car AT THIS PLACE after they "fixed it" with what all they screwed up if you want more reason no to go here just email me and Ill gladly send them to you!

I have gone to this place for inspections for years and never had any issues. It is usually prompt and friendly service. This time however, they pointed out a "groove" on my front rotor and said that I needed to replace the pads and rotors ASAP....even offered me $10 off the $189 they wanted for one axle. I went home and called around.... found a a national franchise with a super sale on ($60 off standard brakes)...so I went in today. They took off the 4 tires of my2012 F150 (with 40,000 miles) and came and said "Maam, you dont need any work on your brakes" sent me on my way with no charge and Gods blessings.... I am disappointed in Classics and will use Firestone instead.

I can say without a doubt I have never gotten better service from a repair shop than I did here! Not only was the staff helpful, but they were honest and professional and went above and beyond my expectations. I had to have almost my whole brake system replaced in my car and The guys , did a great job at the repairs as well as gave me a great deal on all the parts required. I cannot say enough nice things about Classic lube mechanic shop , When my car broke down they fixed it the same day, put up with my anxious phone calls, were super-professional and clear in their communication, I will never take my car anywhere else. The best , highly recommended .

My 21 year old daughter went there to get a tune up. When I went there to pay for her tune up for her they were charging me $475.00! They ran an unauthorized diagnostics test, put another customers charge on my bill, put premium gadgets in her car ALL WITHOUT permission! After much disputing, the owner, MOE, told me that if I could get a cheaper estimate somewhere else, they would refund my entire bill. Well, I got a great estimate at another place, GOOD YEAR Marina Bay Drive, for MUCH cheaper, but MOE refused to honor his promise. These premium gadgets were not needed in her car. This place rips people off, women in general. Dont go there!

Very BAD service ! I had a day off in the week and set my alarm to get up and take my truck to them as they told me to do. So I took it up there and the guy in charge said to bring it back up there at 2 pm and leave it . Then I get someone to come follow me I drop it off and he said to come back before 6 to pick it up. So I had my ride take me back home then waited till 5:30 and had someone take me up there and someone to watch the kids. I got up there and they said they didnt have time to get to it. . . Really the worst place to go to and will never deal with them again .

After a horrible experience trying to get my 2010 BMW repaired at a big chain shop in Houston paid a lot of money never fixed right.... I found this company closer to my home. The owner Moe answer the phone he was so professional and friendly! My car was ready a day faster than estimated (two days total!) and they even give me rental car to drive ..... when I took My car back looked new they fixed it right in a good price and it had been cleaned thoroughly inside and out. I could not ask for a better experience! thank you so much Moe

Excellent service! I needed a starter replacement and the folks at Classic Lube were there. Fast and affordable, I was in and out within an hour. Best of all they didn’t try to sell me on any other repairs. This place is under new management so I’m guessing some of the older reviews no longer apply. I spoke with the new manager (Laith Omran) and he made sure everything was done right. If you are looking for a no nonsense, dependable auto mechanic then this is definitely one to consider.
