For those who have had bad experiences with the Little Elm post office , I sympathize. Bad experiences like bad tastes dont leave quickly. The good news is for the last several months Little Elm has a new postmaster or perhaps I should say post mistress perhaps since this position is now filled by a woman. Women can right wrongs! My experience today shows this. I ordered an item through Amazon. I checked the tracking and it said it would be delivered yesterday. I didnt have the package but decided that I would wait a day to follow up. The message said it was delivered by the US Postal Service. I called the national number given on the Amazon website. More than an hour on hold brought me to a woman who tried to find it by calling the Little Elm PO. While she was on that line, my call was dropped. Frustration! She had my number so I decided to let her call me back. Nothing happened. I decided I would call the local number. With great trepidation I did (I had read the numerous negative reviews so I had low expectations,) I called and told them of my issue. I was assured that the geo-tracking indicated that the package was delivered to my address and that perhaps the package was pushed way to the back of the over-sized mailbox. When the carrier was contacted he said he remembered delivering two packages. I still didnt believe her but thanked her and decided it was time to contact Amazon or the seller. First I checked with my husband and he said he remembered giving me a package. I said yes it had the water filters for the refrigerator and I had put the small white boxes they come in into the drawer where we keep that type thing. He told me he hadnt ordered any filters even though I had asked him to do so. (Bright Light comes on) I went to the drawer and there were the small white packages same size and shape as the water filters BUT these were the small LED lights I had ordered! (Red Face!) The nice thing is the post master called me back to check to see if the package had been located. (And this was after the official closing of the PO for the day.) I was happy to tell her it had been. She then explained that she was new in this position and was insisting that carriers enter the geo-tracking information as items were put in the mailbox so that she had exact tracking info. She is also working to correct other complaints. (She is well aware of the negative reviews on google, facebook, etc.) She was also able to tell me that the satisfaction level for the Little Elm PO has risen from the bottom of the list to the top since she has been there. I had a very positive interaction with the local Little Elm PO. I encourage others that have valid complaints to take them to this responsive manager, It looks like it is a new day in Little Elm.

I would give five minus stars if there is an option. I dont have any problem with my mail delivery.( my mail lady actually is really nice) I have a huge problem with one of the ladies in the post office( who likes to wear a lot of gold jewelry, I cannot remember her name thou, it starts with Sa...). First time the problem was when we took our baby to get the passport. That lady was rude, unfriendly and in my option, she should not be working with people if she hates people that much...our baby was barely one year old. The lady basically told me to put my baby on an unsteady box on a stool unsupported to take a photo( the baby was barely one!). The lady then so inpatient and without looking through all the paper work we handed to her, she spoke loudly ( she probably thought we were stupid) and told us she needed the application ( which was at the second page we gave to her, only if she just look!!) She then questioned us several time about the birth certificate( out of state, just FYI, every state has their own way to print the official certificate, LADY!) ...we finally finished the process and she told us we can go now...yet we havent even pay the fee. Can you imagine the problem we would have with department of state??? That lady was soooo careless and just didnt care! Second time: I had to mail a card with some photos to oversea. Before I left the house, my husband actually told me, say hi to your " friend ". I told him it would be my luck! At the post office, it really was my lucky day, its her again. She looked at my card, bend them and questioned me and threw me a form told me to fill out the custom form. ( LADY, I did this before and OTHER post office NEVER once I had to fill out the custom form to mail a card with some photos). I had my baby in one arm and tried to fill out the form with a long line behind me. No pen on the counter, no pen in sight. We went home and had to came back again. The same day but later I brought my card and the form back. Again, its my luck, its her again. 13 dollars!! She didnt inform me any of the price( which OTHER post office would try to work with you and explain all the options you have), and I saw the price tag and I decided not to mail the card. She gave me an evil stare with a loud sigh. I started to leave then she yelled at me said she needed the form back to cancel the order. I dont need her to apologize to me but I do need her to treat me with respect and I wonder is that how she wanted to be treated???! I really want to say nice thing about little elm post office but I really cannot. We moved from Versailles, KY( the Versailles post office was the BEST!). The post office in little Elm is really really a huge disappointment!

Went there to get my passport done. Their line policies are the most Extra out of any line policy Ive heard of. Outside the post office it states that you dont need an appointment to have a passport ready. Example: I come there at 8:50 AM without an appointment and Im the second person in line. Therefore Im second come second served. Person in front of me has no appointment as well but they came before us. Third person comes in with an appointment for 9:10 AM BUT its still 8:53 AM when she comes in. Clerk states "any one with mailing or are you here for passports" no one is there for mailing but only for passports. The clerks second statement "anyone with an appointment". Woman third in line says yes. Clerk waves her up to the front so she could do her passport and cuts the whole line. First of all its inconsistent. Ive been here before and someone made an appointment and the clerk said "no appointments needed I dont know how you made one". Now this time around they change it up and start "accepting" appointments and let them curve right up front? Whats the use of the sign!!! No appointments needed means first come first serve as well as first appointment first serve. If someone comes in at 8:30 and five minutes after that someone comes in with an appointment for 9... you clearly take the 8:30 person. Not the person who appointed at a specific later time. Thats not how a line works. It was a busy and hectic experience. It felt very unprofessional. I recommend you to keep them on their toes and get every bit out of this post office. Everyone in the office seems rude and uptight like theyre elitist but they should realize theyre working at a post office. Poor eye contact like they think theyre professional. You should seriously take in to consideration giving Nancy a promotion because shes the only one who gives 100%+ more effort than her coworkers. I truly feel bad that she works there with those opaque (fake) people with haughty personalities.
