Let me explain the difference between good customer service and great customer service good customer service is when a company makes a mistake like they all do no company is perfect and they make it right great customer service is a little different they dont just make it right but they go above and beyond to make it even better Lubbock lock and key is one of the great customer service companies every time Ive been into them theyve always been funny polite kind and they have made a mistake but they made it more than right they wanted to keep their reputation and they did if you want somewhere thats going to not only do what you need but also give you excellent customer service go to Lubbock lock and key they treat you right

I went to Lubbock Lock & Key looking for either a replacement tumbler lock, or to have a key made for a vintage desk I have owned for years. I forget who helped me, but he looked at the tumbler I brought in and said it would be more cost effective to just replace the lock with a new one. He quickly found me a new tumbler with two keys that works perfectly as a replacement for the old one, and for what I thought was a very reasonable price. If I need lock-help again, they will be the first shop I will call.

This morning, I somehow inadvertantly locked myself out of my rv. I called lubbock lock and key to have them come out and unlock my door. I let the man know that I had tried using a screwdriver to no avail. I even offered to sign a waiver that I caused the damage and he still wouldnt help me. I called Deckelmans afterwards and they came right out and unlocked my door for half of what LLK wanted. I understand the liability aspect to a certain extent but refusing service is a poor way to do business.

Toyota wanted to charge me $400 to fix my trunk. Lubbock lock and key charge me 23 after reeking my car they realized it was the lock. And I told them I wasnt really ready to pay for a new key when it was just the lock that was broken they cut the charge and I still got to keep my new key
