Absolutely ridiculous i had to get an alignment done im from ny and was traveling around and they went do do the alignment after waiting 3 hours they told me they couldnt do it because tie rods were frozen and they wernt able to adjust it without replacing all the tie rods and quoted me at over 900 dollars in order to do that my jaw dropped absolutely insane i was planning on going to miami but because of this i had no choice but to come back home to ny over 25 hour drive just because of this and had my personal mechanic fix it for me only to find out i didnt even need a alignment and i only needed one side of the tie rods to be replaced and all together for the parts and labor he only charged me less then 150 dollars for a job pep boys wouldnt do for any cheaper then 900 dollars it pisses me off so much it makes me want to scream a whole trip ive been planning to have for years has now been crushed and ruined because of disgusting places like this do whatever they can to legally rob every last cent they can get out of a young kid who has very little money already struggling to get by as it is and dont care as long as they can try and squeeze out whatevers left of me jacking up the prices for each part to extreme amounts in there quote charging 400 dollars for parts that only cost me like 100 dollars in parts and 400 dollars in labor for a job that woulda took less then 2 hours...

Took two days for a mechanic to see my car even though the service manager Robert Marroquin promised it would be seen the same day i brought the car. I needed a tow and he gave me a totally wrong number. The woman (janeth) who tried to charge me insisted i get an engine flush and pay for it. ($75) my engine manufacturer does NOT recommend flushes ever! She has no clue what shes talking about. Dont trust your car here. When my car was done, nobody came to get me. The cashier saw me waiting in line and checked out other customers who came in after me. Very rude. Had to call manager to get the advertised price for oil change and towing for members. Once i paid, i found my carpet in my car was stained black from the mechanics dirty shoes. If im paying $35 shop fee, i expect things to be done right! Pepboys corporate would not let me leave this review on their site. Never coming back and please dont ever waste your time and money here

Went there 4/9/17 with a used truck i had purchased the day before and i needed to get an evaluation on the vehicle to see what needed to be repaired. Mark went above and beyond in helping us, he did a ton of price checking for various parts and services since we were on a budget, made great suggestions, kept in constant contact with our amazing mechanic, Crystal -who is very knowledgeable- and anything he could get us done for free he did. I was pleasantly surprised by their honesty, how fast they worked on our vehicle and how good natured they were. Overall this has been the single best experience ive ever had at a mechanic shop and look forward to going here again for all my future car needs. Love this place and the employees.

First let me say Ive been a Pep Boys customer for over a decade in Laredo and never had concerns until now in the McAllen store. Drove in for a new set of tires and drove out with an expense of $750 which included a required wheel alignment only to find out that my car is now pulling heavy to the right- The thing is it never did this prior to the "required alignment" that was part of the package. On top of that they scratched/scuffed/damaged two out of the four alloy wheels on my vehicle. This will certainly be the last set of wheels I ever purchase at Pep Boys not to mention Ill be taking my oil changes / brake jobs elsewhere as well

There are people that do the minimum to get by and punch a clock when their shift is over. I want everyone to know that the service manager Robert Marroquin went above and beyond the service that is required to get by. Robert took the time to fix my flat tire on a 2010 chevy suburban. My daughter is only 4 and we were blessed to have him not send us away and close the store but to wait and help us until it was fixed. There are few and far between that people go above and beyond to help another in need. I wish him and his family many blessings and know that it is a rare find to have them under your employment!!

Went to buy tires this morning was disappointed at first did not have the tires that they had promised me to have on Tuesday morning when my appointment was scheduled. I did get very upset and spoke to manager Robert Marroquin. He said he was sorry that someone on their side had dropped the ball. He then offered me a better set of tires. Mr. Marroquin was very courteous and helpful. He apologized for the inconvenience. If not for the great customer service they would have lost out on the sum of 504.00 dollars. Thank you for your great service Mr. Marroquin.

I just want to recognize a guy at pepboys who gave me great customer service his name is greg didnt get his last name after two guys employees put excuses as to why they couldnt put a windshield on my truck because it was raining this kind man went out side in the rain and didnt it without hesitation i thanked him and asked him if he was the manager and he said he was part of managment i had three kids waiting for me in the truck so i was very grateful and decided to write this review in hopes this man gets recognized for going above and beyong

Ive been waiting for over 3 hours to change a headlight. The mans hand cant fit where the bulb goes and the lady refuses to help him because she has to sweep so they can close. And this is who Enterprise contracts with????? I will call them tomorrow. This is HORRIBLE customer service. Janeth the manger is the one refusing to help, and is cleaning as I sit here. Amazing. You would think the customers would come first. No idea how she got this position.

Perhaps the slowest store. I had an appointment at 10 am and when I arrived at 9:30 am, I was told that theyd get to my truck as quickly as they could. I waited patiently, but then at 12:45 pm, I asked if there was such an "appointment" because it was too long of a wait. My truck was worked on immediately and I stayed until 4:30 pm. I think it is a bad management there.

The manager Janeth is so rude. She told us we were lucky for her service we got there at 7:45 and the shop closes at 8. I made sure to be polite and she wouldnt say thank you or give us any positivity. If you have the option please go somewhere else. It is an extremely rude environment with her working here. I usually never post reviews but in this case I had to.
