I would give ZERO STARS if possible. I had an appointment for a repairman to come to me to do the repair on a Monday. He never showed up! After I called to ask why nobody came, they did not offer any explanation and told me I was rescheduled for Thursday. So, Thursday came around and still, nobody showed up. I got a call the next day to tell me that they damaged the replacement windshield and they needed to order another replacement for me. Two weeks later, I went in for the 8am appointment (started a new job, no time for this during the week). First they tell me that they were not going to honor the warranty, despite being told the replacement would be covered by the warranty. While this was infuriating, I still offered to pay for the replacement. After waiting in the store for another hour, they FINALLY told me that the part had been SENT BACK because "I cancelled my appointment" (even though I never did. I had the appointment scheduled for two weeks in advance). No apology. No real explanation. They just rescheduled me. At this point I am going to cancel this appointment. I will not be doing business with Safelite anymore. They had their chance and they blew it. They are unreliable and unprofessional. They wasted half of my day and I had to get out of bed early (I sleep in on Saturdays) for absolutely no reason, other than to witness their utter incompetence.

I should have read the reviews from other customers before doing business with this company. Very bad customer service and try calling the main company other than local company , good luck. I called to get an estimate time other than just 8-12 noon and i was told closer to 12 and i would be getting a call 30 minutes before they came out from the technician. I told them ok and im stepping out for a few minutes. So, as soon as i step out the technician calls me and says im at your house. He then assures me he will be at my house as i was originally told which was closer to noon . Noon comes and goes and no technician so i called technician and he will not answer. so i called main office who in turn calls technician and they can not reach him either. All main office offered to do is for me to wait. They had no concern or care of me(customer) So, if anyone is doing their homework and reading reviews , i would advice against doing business with this company. My insurance company (Geico) referred me to them so i called Geico and explained what happened and recommended they no longer do business with this company.

I was not physically there for the service because I was out of the country visiting my husband overseas. That meant that I had to set it all up online. It was through my insurance but still I was amazed that it happened so smoothly. The car was vandalized while I was gone, so my parents were left with the aftermath. I didnt want them to go out of their way to find a Safelite location or even go into some sketchy window place just for my car. So I needed someone that would be able to go to their house, where my car was. Ive never used this service so I did not know what to expect. That is exactly what happened, a man showed up and did all the work. They described him as a great man that took care of my car very well, and even cleaned my windows afterward. There was a swarm of bugs and mosquitos all around but he stayed focused and got the job done. My parents said they were very impressed. And I was glad that they made this unfortunate instance an ease for my parents and gave me piece of mind. Thank you

I went to this Safelite serveral times! Do not go it is a waste of time. I had to go in the first 2 times for them to look at my windshield to make sure they ordered the right one. The third appointment that I had I was suppose to be getting it replaced. But no, they ordered the wrong one after I had been there twice for them make sure they got the right one. So I let them order a new one. Fourth appointment was a waste also. They ordered it but someone deleted the order before it was shipped to them. So I have been 4 times and I will never go back. I will find a place that knows what they are doing! And one that has a lot better customer service because theirs was awful.

The work was done very well. Windshield looks great, and the staff was friendly. Biggest issue is that they did not call me when the work was done. I told them I was walking to the public library, about 1/2 mile away, and I had a lot to get done that day, so please call me when it was ready. They said it would take 1-2 hours to complete. After 3 hours they had not called, so I walked back and there was my car, sitting in the lot, work was done. They did not apologize or even acknowledge the inconvenience. Very poor communication skills. It would have taken 15 seconds to call and tell me it was ready, and now I would be giving a 5 star rating.

Booking the appointment was straightforward and it was a reasonable additional cost to have the windshield replaced on-site (at my home). Most importantly, I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the technician (Sam). He was friendly and patiently answered questions that I had for him about the process. He clearly explained everything that was going to be done before doing the work and worked carefully and methodically. Beyond that, I felt that he treated my car with the respect hed give to a 100K Porsche, even though I own a 2007 Honda minivan with substantial hail damage(!).

These folks have replaced many windshields for us over the past 10 years and have done an excellent job! The technicians have always been on time or early, cleaned up when the job is completed and cleaned all the windows as well. The only complaint I have is that when Ive needed to speak to the local office my call goes first to a call center before they decide if my call is legitimate, which is very time consuming and frustrating. I prefer to use a locally owned independent glass shop but have yet to find one where they do as good a job as Safelite in McAllen, TX!

Your companies that are based in Brownsville and McAllen show quite a difference in customer service and lack common courtesy towards their customers and the offices that recommend Safelite. Your are suppose to have a reputation that reflects your commercials and all the hype.. Your employees in Brownsville and McAllen even lack phone etiquette. Lack of communication is obvious between customer, agent and our dealership. I will not recommend your company and also will make a recommendation to our windshield company to consider not using you in the future.

Do not go to safelite! I went there thinking large chain, superior service boy was I wrong! The receptionists are rude they act like theyre doing you a favor not providing you with a service. I left there thinking at least they did a good job repairing my chipped windshield. And while I cant comment on the quality of their work I can tell you that 2 iPods and the connection cord were stolen from inside the arm rest console of my vehicle.I have yet to hear back from safelite regarding my complaint. BEWARE OF THIEVES WORKING THERE! Never ever again!
