I had been having a large struggle keeping my car limping to and from work and nothing else knowing full well that my car was a ticking time bomb. I spend a good part of the last year homeless, and living in my car working 40-50 hours a week to save enough money for an apartment. When I finally had the money to have my car fixed, the first three repair shops I went to would not even work on my car. They would look at it, and look at me like an idiot or a lost cause. Christian brothers took my car, gave it a thorough diagnosis and gave me an estimate for the repairs without once looking down on me or showing me a shred of disrespect. The repairs were costly, but they did good work on my car and made sure that I had it back in time to get to work on time that week. At the end of it all, My mechanic went out of his way, -after I had already paid- and left to call me and take take nearly $500 off of my bill, when it went over his estimate. These are good people, who do good work. My car has been running better than I ever remember her. Thank you fellas for the good work, and Thank you Peter for being good to me.

Went in for an A/C repair on my truck and already knew ahead of time the general cause of the problem. Which ended up being my condenser fan not working properly and low on freon (which of course is caused by a leak in the system). They told me there would be a 125 dollar diagnostic fee, which I agreed too. But when they called me back with the estimate of 720 dollars, I was in complete shock. They told me they couldnt properly diagnose, charge the system or identity where the leak was located without changing the condenser fan. So at this point I figured Id call around get some quotes. I ended up getting a quote for half the price from Integrity Automotive (family owned) also in Mckinney. But what really rubbed me the wrong way is the fact they still charged me the 125 dollar diagnostic fee! Keep in my mind they never properly charged the system, identified the leak or replaced anything! These guys arent honest and neither are their prices. Highly recommend taking it to one of the local, family owned shops here in Mckinney if you want to save money on any major repairs!

Way overpriced. Took the car for an AC issue and a brake job. They quoted $600 for front and rear brakes. Called another place down the street and was quoted $250 for the same. I had already paid $99 for a diagnostic on the AC issue and was told $460 out the door would fix it. Told them Id take it somewhere else for the brakes but to go ahead and do the AC. Received a call later that evening and was told they replaced the blower motor and connector for the $460, but now another part would be needed and the job was now $630. What is a diagnostic for if you cant properly diagnose it up front and tell me what all is need and give me an accurate cost? Initially I thought the AC job was high, but Ive already paid the $99 for the diagnostic so I might as well let them do it. I should have known better to go elsewhere after getting the brake quote. Regretting the decision now to take the vehicle here at all.

This specific location is HORRIBLE!!!!! I have no experience with the other locations of Cristian Brothers Automotive but the people here are liers!!! I sent my car because didnt pass the yearly inspection. Went to this location with the papers and teh results of emission of gases (because of the high emission of gases) and they told me that if they would change a part it would pass! Payed 480$ and the car did not pass the inspection because the level of the gases were still the same... I had to send the car at another place and fix it! They fixed the car and it passed the inspection right away! When I confronted the owner of this location with the papers that showed no change of the level of gases before and after their job on the car, he just ignored the request saying that would not give me any money back! I am a christian and dont get me wrong but these guys were awful!

My name is Jason Duke and Im the Lead Pastor of Ranchland Church in McKinney, Tx. We had the great opportunity to partner with C.B.A. in a service opportunity to single moms by giving them a FREE oil change. We were greatly blessed by the professional approach of the ownership and mechanics as they volunteered their time and services FREE of charge. These men and women took time away from their families without pay to give to those needing a bit of encouragement. They were very friendly and respectful to everyone they came into contact with. As a Church, we had a great time partnering with them and providing food, fun, and conversation to the moms and kids who showed up. Thank you to C.B.A. and the Pope Family ownership.

CBA held oil changes for single moms this passed weekend. I signed up but almost didnt go because they are located an hour away. The day before my appointment my check engine light came on. So this was a sign I must go. I am so glad I did. CBA and a local church had activities for the kids, breakfast for the family, and I was treated so good. When I got into my car to leave I no longer had a check engine light. Absolutely love this place now. When I need future work done on my car this is the place I am going to. That hour is no big deal when you know you are getting good service and promising work done. Thank you CBA for your time and service!

After a terrible morning where my car almost died on the way to work, I was fortunate to find Christian Bros. after stopping at an NTB (only to be told they had no one that could work on my car). Not only did Christian Bros. give me a ride home so I could work and not sit in their waiting room for a long time, but they ended up not charging me when it was discovered that all that was wrong was a part was stuck in a certain position and nothing was broken! Ive never had an experience with such an honest and trustworthy company before and from now on they have my business. I am a customer for life!

Not only do they take advantage of women by price gouging but they insult their intelligence. When I told the mechanic that my oxygen sensor was bad he promptly responded with: "Who told you that?" Uh, I did genius. All by myself, no help. Im not an idiot, I just dont want to get dirty and greasy working on my car. Id rather pay someone to do it. Not only that but the $350 price tag was a little steep. I ultimately had it replaced by a reputable shop Lewisville for $218. If youre a girl, take a guy friend with you. They automatically assume you have no idea what youre talking about.

The mechanics are dumber than dirt. I have a friend that got stuck spending more than $700 at this place (and 15-20 visits) - her light would come on, they would reset it and charge her for parts, and THEN tell her they could not fix the problem. She finally called a mechanic THAT WORKS OUT OF HIS TRUCK and he fixed it for $20.00 TOTAL. To date her car is running perfectly. The mechanics at Christian Brothers take advantage of female customers. Push your car past this location and go to a trustworthy place that doesnt use religion to lure you into a false sense of security and trust.
