It is unfortunant that a consumer can not choose delivery service when ordering products from a merchant because I would always choose UPS. I have NOW been convinced that Midlothian has the worst postal delivery service by far. The following are all separate incidents: 1. I have had at least two packages that been tracked as "unable to deliver" due to not being home. They never attempted to deliver my packages. The packages did not require a signature upon delivery. I had to get my packages myself from the post office and found out that they had another package there that the carrier was also suppose to the deliver two days prior as well. 2. One package tracked as "delivered" with a specified time of delivery and where it was delivered, "porch". Never received it. I thought someone had stolen it off my porch. The package arrived two days later with no explanation as to why they marked it as "delivered" two days prior. Today. My sons Christmas gift is showing delivered near or on front porch at 3:45pm. There is NO PACKAGE. I have been home all day. I have checked with neighbors and have gone up and down our neighborhood streets to see if the carrier possibly delivered to wrong address. I frequently get other peoples mail and big packages delivered to me, therefore, I have to go and seek out their address and take it to them in hopes that someone will someday do the same for me!!! This is very, very frustrating. I will now have to go to the Post Office tomorrow and make sure they have not repeated the same mistakes yet again!!!! I sit here worrying about my sons gift. I have several other packages in route and I am nervous about going through this...well again. Long post I know, but I am very, very annoyed. This has happened too many times.

*Update* From one star to 4 stars. Ive been back a few times and have been pleased with the customer service! They have been very helpful to me and have been very kind. I would recommend using this facility. Well heres another great review for the infamous Midlothian Post Office. When you run a business with a phone number, make sure you DONT TAKE IT OFF THE HOOK SO YOU DONT HAVE TO ANSWER PHONE CALLS. I tried for over an hour one day and kept getting a busy signal. Not only that but any time my boyfriend or I have mailed things out, they never seem to get there on time and it took me over 2 weeks to receive a letter. I just moved to Midlothian and have been getting mail under my name at my new address for almost 2 months and when I didnt get my friends wedding invitation in the mail they told me it was sent back to her because the delivery guy didnt recognize my name........yet I keep getting mail for the previous 2 tenants even though my boyfriend told them multiple times that they no longer live here. Seriously, if you hate your job that much you need to QUIT and find something else. Dont be a lazy, grumpy, ass when you work in customer service.

Just awful. I hate it when UPS delivers a package to the USPS so they can deliver it to my house. I know when that happens that is going to add at least 2 days to the delivery, even if I paid for faster shipping. This time it was a notice on the door that the "receptacle was blocked" which is ridiculous because this is a box that is way to big to fit into the mailbox and needs to be left at the door. The postal worker could take the time to write a note that they couldnt deliver the package and stick it on the door but couldnt drop the package at the door. The last time I had a box that wouldnt fit into the mailbox she put it on top of the mailbox, on the street, for anybody to grab. I know my expectations are probably a little high considering these are government workers AND they are unionized but I dont think its too much to ask that they get out of their vehicles and leave packages at the door.

Our delivery service is the worst. Tracking a package shows that it was delivered but we never got it. Call the po and they say it was delivered. Ends up that it was still in the mail carriers truck. They have sent packages back to sender because they said it was not deliverable even though the address was correct and we were home. WORST Delivery EVER! I have actually seen him put the mail in our box and drive off to then find a note in the mailbox saying we werent home to leave a certified letter. He didnt even walk to the door to find out! Worst EVER!

Wish I could give negative stars. This is the worst post office by far. They actually refuse to leave packages only when my apartment is open and now refuse to deliver at the complex at all. I have to drive to the post office and wait 45 min to get a package. They lie and say you can come after hours, but look at you and will not let you in. The staff is rude. When I asked to speak to the manager, they wouldnt come talk to me and relayed everything through the desk staff. Their hours are awful.

I have been waiting on a package. I have had other delieverd and arrive on time. But this last item. Now they are telling me i have to figure it out on my own because they said it was delieverd and i have yet to find it. The people on the phone are rude. The ones at the deak are rude. And refuse to do anything to help me find my item. If it was delieverd and i got it. Why would i keep calling about it. Obviously it wasnt delieverd to the right address. They need to find it. Awful post office.

Wish i could give zero stars.I lived in 3 cities before midlothian and never had a problem with the post office.now that i live here i dread going to the post office because the woman at the front desk is EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL and RUDE.I have gone to post office multiple times and everytime the front lady gives me attitude for no apparent reason.I have tried being nice, and still she behaves in such manner.I am very sad that this town has to put up with this person

Hands down the epitome of Midlothian. This P.O. has the most incompetent, ignorant, selfish baboons Ive ever dealt with... If only we didnt have to keep them open or support their moronic attitude ways. The 100 year old ancient artifact that wears gloves behind the counter is a piece of work. They cant deliver mail right more than half the time, so expect nothing less than the wrong mail in your P.O. Box. Why we allow this is incredible.

CINDY SMITH is so RUDE!!! She hangs up as she wants to talks over you and does not care about your issue , Tryed to explain my problem to her she interrupted me the whole time and hung up , and told me to call a 800 number that she didnt provide for me and hung up then I called back and the phone was off the hook ... All my packages were delivered to the wrong house , and one completely lost where I had to order it again .
