I have a Silver Sneakers membership so I cant comment on the cost and value; however, from the moment I walked in I was impressed. It is bright and cheery, looks clean. The people at the desk were approachable and hooked me up with Corey. Corey took me around the gym, listened to my needs, and gave me some material to take home to consider. I joined based on the friendliness and appearance of the gym. The equipment looks new to me although Ill have to say I havent worked out in a gym for several years. A few of the machines have some problems (couldnt change the level or just didnt start), but I could always find one that did work. Its fairly busy around noon and after work and Saturday, but nothing that hampered my work-out. Corey greets me when he sees me and asks how Im doing. My trainer Rachel is really good. She explains the exercises, is patient and encouraging, and sets realistic goals for me. It seems to me that the trainers get along well and that the employees like working there. Its been a good experience for someone who doesnt like to exercise.

The more I go here, the less I like it. Id go to the one at Preston/Park, but its 3 x as far. Today as last time I went, there was no one at the front desk. No problem for me as they usually arent super friendly except for one blonde middle aged lady and the salesman who remember my name from when I joined. Anyway, today, there was no one and a couple of people wanted to talk to someone. One wanted to join he said. I told them this was the norm and I looked in GM office, but nope, not there. I hung around and finally someone came round but he wasnt office staff. He dug someone out of an office to help the people. It was around 2:00, my usual time. Also, please wipe down the seated leg press. The white metal on those types of equipment have needed cleaning for a while. A week later still dirty. And today there were 4 young 20s staff members shooting the breeze behind the counter and not greeting anyone. Generally the equipment is in operable condition and they offer lots of classes.

I love this gym! I used to live in uptown, so I regularly went to LA Fitness Signature Club. After moving to North Dallas, I continued using the other LA Fitness clubs in the area. I wasnt really satisfied. So I shopped around and being an avid gym goer, I was very particular about the next gym Id choose to be a part of. I tried out the 24HR in Carrollton and it just seemed very old and bent out of shape. I was almost convinced to not try out another location, but I was SOLD with this location as soon as I walked in. The customer service was amazing and I love the towel service, on occasion they wont have towels available. But its not the gym at fault, if all the gym members - out courtesy would return their towels to the dirty towel bins when theyre done, there would probably wouldnt be towel shortage in general. Aside from that, its great :)

This place is old and dirty, especially the locker rooms. There is a gang of steroid pumped up bodybuilders that work out here in the evenings and they take over the barbell area. They drop their weights in a manner to make loud noises and also use a lot of loud profanity. I assume this is to let it be known to all that the barbell area is their territory and to intimidate others who might want to work-out with the barbells. I complained to the manager about the loud dropping of weights and profanity and he just laughed it off and said these guys were his friends. He did absolutely nothing and wouldnt even go have a talk with them. I switched to another gym as apparently this place does not care about keeping its customers happy & I will not be intimidated by a gang of low IQ goons.

I have been to several 24 Hr Fitness Facilities and While I Enjoy Working Out at the Park Blvd LocationI Get Irritated when they continually are unable to keep providing clean towels, keep the locker/shower facilities clean, keep the soap dispensers filled and keep the paper towel dispenser in the workout area full,...When I brought this to the attention of the staff I was told that they were awaiting shipment of supplies,...Perhaps the management should consider changing vendors in this regard,...I recently spent time in VA and spent several weeks working out at the 24hr Fitness in Falls Church, VA,...The facility was immaculate, the dispensers full and workout towels were plentiful,...There is no reason why this same level of quality service should be wanting in Plano, Texas,...

Not even a single star but in order to put review I had to. 24 hours fitness club sales men are big time cheater. I joined gym after spending 30 mins to 1 hour discussion with sales person. He explained me everything and confirmed there is no hidden charges. But after 3 months they put a $54 charge in my card. I called to customer care to inquire about the charges they said its a annual fee. But they did not tell me at the time of joining. I asked to cancel my member ship and but we agreed upon that they will give me 2 months free as a favor but after two week at time time of billing they charged money again. So basically they lied to me about free two months. 24 hours fitness club is big time cheater. Never believe on them.

Its so unbearably hot when you workout late nights, its stifling! I was so hot I had a headache for hours and actually threw up! I was told it is toned down at night, and is controlled by corporate in California. So this club is not accommodating to people who workout at 1am. In July its horrible..i can hardly stand the heat. Not worth the $ , the staff are like robots or zombies, absolutely no personality, empathy, zero customer service skills!! I have been a member for 4 1/2 years and my job changed so now my workouts are at night, Im going to have to find other options. This is a joke..very disappointed in a place I have spent so much time and money in....

Great, clean gym. Lots of equipment and plenty of weights to go around. Its a bit less crowed except for the after work rush. The kids love the the Kids Club, it probably has the best variety of things to do as far as the 24 Hr locations. Although, you have to have the package that includes the Super Sports, otherwise you cant go here. We were told when we signed up (over 6 years ago) that we would be able to go to ANY club in the US. So when we discovered this location we were extremely surprised and perturbed to be told that we could use the facility that one time, but in order to use this location again, wed have to upgrade our membership.

Park and Ohio is a great club. Been a member for over 10 yrs. However, I was really disappointed in the way we were treated yesterday by the new Sales Manager. Horrible customer service! We ended up going to the Coit and Campbell location where we were treated completely different. I explained the nature of my guests visit and her circumstances. They said they would honor another guest pass because I was a valued customer. They even gave us options to add her on for a low rate and freeze when I needed to. I will go back to my Ohio club but will avoid the new sales manager at all costs!!!
