I love Josh and Adam!!! I have been been with these 2 for over a year and even transferred from the Avalon West Village Salon to stay with them. The Avalon location at Legacy is always very relaxing and clean, but I mostly go there because of Josh and Adam. They are incredible. Josh is amazing at hair cuts and styling. He always listens to what I want, and is truly a gifted stylist! He is especially talented at short hair styles and Brazilian blowouts! I get so many compliments on my hair cut! Adam is a true gem. He always does such a beautiful job on my highlights, and even comes up with new ideas about how to mix up my color while keeping it professional for work. I literally get complimented on my hair style/color at least 3-4 times a week. It makes me feel so confident and beautiful. Not only are these 2 gentlemen talented at cut and color, but they are also wonderful, genuine people. I love spending time with them while they make me look and feel beautiful! They have both gone above and beyond to accommodate my crazy work schedule, and have even come in early during the holidays when I needed an appointment. Thank you, Avalon Salon, for making me look and feel so special.

First of all entering the store was very unwelcoming. Low tones and no smiles like you dont want to be there really turns off the mood. The hairdresser seemed like she didnt want to do anything at all. We wanted to go from red to slightly lighter instead she wanted to do an all over color and not give me what I wanted. She said the process will take a long time and its a step by step process. I dont understand why she couldnt tell me the step by step which I wanted and wouldnt have minded on doing. If I have to go through a few apps to get what I want I will do it. Instead she gave no such info and just acted like it was a hassle and she didnt want to do it.

Ive been going to this salon for over 3 years and with the same stylist Philip. Last Saturday for the first time, I came 10 minutes late and he refused to attend me. He said he wouldnt mind cutting my hair, but without styling. I even asked him to maybe not wash, as I just washed before going and just cut + style he said to reschedule for another time, showed me attitude the entire time I was there. The front lady wasnt helpful either asking me to reschedule, will never go there again. For being a high end salon, this is not how you treat your customer!!!!!

Erin is awesome! Both of my daughters have very curly hair and usually we have a hard time finding a stylist who can cut and style their hair properly, but Erin she rocks! Although my kids are not too young (9 & 10) most hair stylist will talk to me and ask me questions rather than engaging them. I REALLY appreciated how Erin asked them what they like and how they want to style their hair and what type of things they were in to. She really got a good feel for their personality before giving them a great cut they were both happy with. We will be back!

I moved to the Plano area two years ago and have been searching for a Salon that met color and service expectations. Not many salons are experienced in Brazilian Blowouts and I urge you not to keep searching but come to this Salon !!!!! I had an opportunity to speak with the Manager Tom and he is eager to make every client that comes through the door have a great experience. Kendra rocks as a colorist ! In closing, Ive spent lots of time in other local salons, and this is where its happening. I look forward to my future appointments. RM

We scheduled a flat iron and curl do with braid for very long thick hair. The stylist used a wand and hair spray. There were two loosely braided pieces pinned back. Within 20 min of leaving the salon, the braids had fallen, and the wand curls were all but gone. I called back to ask for a re-do and they offered the service free. Due to time we were not able to accept. I requested a refund and they offered a $50 gift card/rebate to cover total service cost. Very pleasant receptionist.

Have my consultation last Thursday,the staff were nice and the shop was amazing! Lindsey will color my hair this coming Tuesday cant wait for it!! but Lilian did my bob cut! She did a wonderful job and my friends,family and even the people I don not know giving me compliments!lovin it!!!! Even the staff in McDonalds asked where I had my haircut done.Gave her the address and recommended Lilian. I will post some photos once I have my hair color done. Thanks Avalon!

Anna Mai has been doing my hair for almost 10 years. Ive followed her from Ft Worth all the way to Plano where she has been at Avalon for many years. She is THAT good!!! Shes taken my hair from blonde to dark brown and back again! I cannot say enough good things about Anna. She is professional, listens to her clients, and the best colorist around! #askforAnna
