Horrible Service! I asked to use my own products they act like they didn't want to let me and the lady washed my hair with shampoo very roughly 4 freaking times. And the lady who combed my natural hair was very rough and didn't know what she was doing and attempted to comb through it starting from the roots to the tips, instead of starting from the tips and working her way up to the roots. They claim they know how to take care of African American hair because A lot of Dominicans have the same hair as African Americans yet the lady tried to rip all of my hair out and had the nerve to get a attitude when I kindly asked her to start from the tips and work her way up to my roots when combing my hair. A freaking Puerto Rican lady who understand what I was asking because she had grand kids with the same kind of hair as black people had to translate since the hair stylist didn't speak English. At the end they charged me a Extra $10 on top of the regular price for a blow out and $5 to apply my own deep conditioner because they said my hair was difficult to do, even though it wasn't my hair, it was the lady that didn't know how to properly comb through my head. They tried to say they changed there prices on New years for African Americans since our hair is difficult to do, even though a lot of Dominicans have the same hair as blacks. My Question is, are they going to charge a Dominican the same New price when they come in and have the same hair as blacks, or is this just them discriminating. This was the worst experience I ever had! The first time I went everything went well but the second time I spoke up because I didn't want to be bald headed so I guess they were mad even though I was very nice the WHOLE TIME dispite my feelings of them not caring for my hair. Seems like they wanted to up the price because they felt like I was a difficult client, even though I wasn't smh. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS HORRIBLE. ONLY COME IF YOU HAVE DECIDED YOU WANT TO GO BALD!!!

Beware ladies with fine hair... The shampoo girl will rip your hair out in the sink bowl...I have fine naturally curly hair and the lady that washed my hair was out of this world with her combing technique with my hair after shampooing it...she ripped through my hair with their comb...it took every thing out of me not to go off...and when she blow dried my hair it was like she got off on keeping that hot heat on my hair by not moving swiftly through it... I lost a lot of hair here and I am still trying to repair it! Again, my hair is soft and fine and didnt need all of THAT! Other than that I love the owners but they need to get rid of that shampoo and blow dryer hair destroyer girl!

I have been to these folks TWICE. And both times they have been great. Both times Abigail did my hair. She is sweet, professional, and highly skilled in her craft. The first time I went for the blowout and saw someone getting color. It looked great. So the second time, I decided to get color. I wanted blonde but couldnt decide between 2 blonde colors. Abigail suggested a color with highlights. She was very hands on and seemed to be comfortable with the coloring process. The finished look was EXACTLY what I wanted. My hair looked great! I will continue to patronize this salon. Abigail is GREAT!

They were very responsive and understood what I needed. I called and left a message and a gentleman called me immediately and told me to come over. I speak Spanish so there was no problem there. The shampoo scrub was amazing! Abigail was fast and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely go back when I need my natural hair straightened. Btw, for those worried about heat damage-my hair curled perfectly back the minute I wet it in the shower. I was nervous because she got my hair absolutely silly straight. They know what they are doing!

I go there all the time. Not only is Abigail amazing, so is the shampoo girl Carlotta. I read a previous review about how rough she was, but Im going to chalk that up to a bitter customer because Ive been going here for over a year, my hair is fine as well but yet even with color, my hair is beautiful and healthy... I would say that in a year my hair has grown at least five inches and healthier than its been in years.... I whole-heartedly recommend Abby AND Carlotta and know that whoever tries them out will be just as satisfied!

Best hair stylist ever!!!!!. I recently moved from Dominican Republic and i was worried that I couldnt find a decent hair stylist to treat my type of hair. Thank god I found Abigail, she really has her ways to treat my hair, and now it is so soft and shine and my husband loves how I come back from the Hair saloon. Recommended for everyone.
