Worst customer service! First of all, I drove up to the entrance of the bay and waited for an attendant as the sign posted directs you to do. I notice several employees look my way with a confused look. ? After a few minutes one of them finally approaches my car and asks how he can help me. I let him know I was just in for an oil change and simply asked the wait time as I noticed the bays were full and there were a few people waiting outside. He asked another employee that was passing by who responded with "shell have to wait at least 30 minutes" as if I werent right there-no need to not address me directly, or to state in a way that lead me to believe he would rather I didnt stay. I had no problem with waiting so I let them know that. I was told to just leave me keys in the car-no further instruction. So, I go inside and straight to the counter. I was under the impression there would be some information they would want to gather from me before they started the service. I also planned on leaving to run some errands so I wanted to give them the info and be on my way. When the girl finally (after several minutes of waiting at the counter w/o acknowledgement) came up she assumed I was the owner of another vehicle and was already handing me keys. I let her know they were not mine, so she proceeded to call out for the owner-not even a simple "Ill be right with you." I patiently waited until she finally gave me her attention to which I explained my intentions of leaving my car for an oil change while I ran some errands. She just says "okay", so I explained that I thought they may want my info or to at least ask me questions like "what kind of oil?" etc. The girl says "Oh, I dont know, go ask him." ??? WTH?! Highly irritated and seriously questioning my decision to bring my car here, I wrote her off as a young girl just there to answer the phone and just doesnt know what the business is or any form of customer service in general. l went back outside to find so and so and ask him the same question. This guy is the same one who gave the previous 30 min. wait time so politely. He tells me the only question he has is "Synthetic or not synthetic" I let him know that unfortunately I wasnt sure what had been put in the car previously, I had only ever taken it in to the dealership for scheduled maintenance. I was expecting a little helpful info on what was recommended or I was prepared to simply look at the paperwork from the last oil change in my glove compartment. Well, the only information he provided was a very cocky "Synthetic is the best way to go because it lasts longer." Seriously? This is your profession and thats the best you can do? He hands me a clip board with a small sheet of paper for my info. I filled it out and left. I came back in roughly 30 minutes and my car was ready. (hence the one star) When I went to pay for the service I looked at the receipt and tried to make sense of it-this obviously irritated the front desk girl, she had a clear just hurry up and sign it look. I figured, whatever its already done so I did just sign it and leave. After getting home and complaining to my boyfriend about the experience he too looked at my receipt. The receipt does not say what kind of oil was put in my car. Why not? Pretty key info if you ask me. All in all, this experience reminded me of why I take my car to the dealership. For one its roughly the same price and two -THEYRE PROFESSIONALS and ask as such. If you value customer service over saving a few bucks steer clear. This is the Wal-Mart of service centers.

I brought my car in for a State Inspection, set of replacement wiper blades and a freekin LICENSE PLATE lamp replacement. My total bill? $100.34! State Inspection:$39.75 2-Wiper Blade Replacements @22.99 EACH 1 License Plate Bulb replacement: 9.99 I dont have a choice in getting my car inspected. The State sets the charge. I do have a huge problem being gouged in the process. $9.99 for a .50 cent light bulb? $22.99 for a wiper blade replacement? This is a gouge and just an add-on to increase the bottom line. I was not told my bulb would be 9.99 nor was given any pricing for the wipers upon which to base my purchasing decision. My car usually is cleaned out and windows cleaned when I have my car serviced there. It did not happen. The folks usually clean out the old residue from the old inspection sticker when it is replaced. That was not done. More poor customer service! I dont know if the ownership has changed, internal store management has changed but the service certainly has changed. Today was my LAST time to patronize this local business. It bothers me that small town businesses are under so much pressure from large businesses in our town (WalMart). This is an example of why your customers may be voting with their pocketbooks and going to businesses that offer quality customer service. Speaking for myself, I will not be back. I have lived here since 2005. The service has deteriorated in that time.

I just wanted to let you know that we took our vehicle to be serviced at this location a while back and when we got there every single person that worked there was outside smoking or standing around talking in the back. When the female finally came inside she did not greet my husband or ask what he needed or anything else she just stood there looking at him with a bad attitiude and you could tell that she was mad because she was interrupted from her time outside with the guys. We no longer will ever go there for any services on our vehicles and have recommended to our friends and family to do the same, mainly because of the bad and nasty attitude of the caucasian girl at the counter. Personally I dont know why people get those kind of jobs knowing they have to deal with customers and then to have such a poor attitude. She needs to find a job where she doesnt have to deal with the customers and the customers dont have to look at her nasty attitude.

KWIK KAR IN RED OAK IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!!! Ive been coming to this location for years. Its family owned and operated and the most honest employees! The last review of this place isnt correct! For state inspections they dont vacuum and clean your windows that is part of the full service oil changes! You would think someone who has been coming to place as they stated would know that. I would trust them to take care of any family members cars! The prices are reasonable the staff is very knowledgable and HONEST! KWIK KAR RED OAK IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO!!!!

How would you feel if your teenager went to get his oil changed for the first time and he came home with a $75.00 bill which he paid for with his own money. How would you feel if this company offered an advertised oil change that was significantly less this but took advantage of a naive teenager? What kind of business practice is that? Short term profits do not lead to a long term loyal customer especially when the owner thought that they did nothing wrong. Would you want to do business with such a business? I will take my business to someone else.
