Brought my vehicle to this shop on a recommendation from a family member. Just wanted to check the water pump because the serpentine belt appeared to be sliding off the pulley. Instead of that they took it upon themselves to run a water leak test on my radiator. Which, by the way, was only 5 years old itself and had absolutely no leaks period. Never once has if overheated and this test they ran on it apparently caused a leak in my radiator causing me to buy a new one. Upon talking to the owner about this issue he seemed to accuse me of suggesting that they sabotaged my vehicle, and was very unfriendly and abrasive about the whole deal. I had the vehicle towed to another mechanic and took care of it for a fraction of the cost they quoted me. Also on a side note the water pump was fine and the reason the serpentine belt appeared to be sliding off the pulley is because for some reason there is a spacer missing in between the pulley and the water pump. I just never noticed this as Im not a mechanic. Also the same family member that recommended this shop has had to take their vehicle back to the shop after they attempted to repair it. I would definitely not recommend this shop to anyone and advise the owner to treat his customers with a little more respect.

We moved to Rockwall in 05 and I literally rolled into Archer when it was on Goliad with a tire issue-they handled it quickly and much to my suprise charged me nothing. We have continued to use Archer for all of our car needs since then. There has only been on time they couldnt repair something but set me up with some one just as great!~

Names Tom had to get a state inspection in a hurry not for one but two of our vehicles plus one oil change this Friday afternoon during a lunch break. Archers friendly respectful and caring staff expidited the work without a hickup. We were on our way in no time. Highly recomend.
