I’ve taken my newborn to get haircuts 3 times already, today was his 4th haircut. We have only taken him to great clips because they’re friendly. However, at this location, a lady by the name of Gloria Alvarado decided to be nosy. Keep in mind she was not attending us. This lady kept saying that by law our 9th month old must wear socks or shoes before they can attend him. I informed her that we have been to 2 other locations within the metroplex and none of them has given us this hassle. Our son doesn’t walk yet, why would he need socks, the feet have nothing to do with getting a haircut. Plus, it’s been hot lately, so we don’t put socks on his feet. I didn’t want to leave because as most of you know barbershops are extremely busy on Saturdays. We stayed and got socks on my son. The lady who cut my sons hair was awesome, by far the best haircut hes gotten. At the end, I talked to the supervisor about this Gloria lady and the supervisor tells me “the law of kids needing socks or shoes is optional not required”. She apologized for Gloria’s rude behavior. I don’t care for their customer service.

Absolute horrible haicut started by one lady for my mother ended up with different stylist. It started out so bad. My mom wanted layers when the lady was done noticed no layers put in her hair so I told her to do it. All she wanted to do was tell me why she shouldnt do layers....if my mom wants it you do it, is what I told her since she wanted something alittle different. When she attempted layers I saw what a horrible job she was doing. She literally cut chunks out of her hair to where looked like one part long the other part next to it 2 inches shorter. I interrupted this stylist and requested another to finish her work. I have never been somewhere where a stylist didnt know how to cut long hair. My mom ended up aving to go about 3 inches shorter than originally planned to fix the first disaster. Go at your own risk....courtesy of Great Clips Rockwall by Target

I used to get my haircut regularly here, the service is mediocre and the hair cut is about average. I got my last haircut about 2 weeks ago and usually get it cut every 4 weeks. I went in today to buy some product for my hair (which I normally buy from them along with my haircuts, 20 dollars for product and like 15 for the cut). They had absolutely no on in there so I asked if they could trim my neck, a probably 15-20 second process. They said yes but itd be 8 dollars.... 8 dollars for a neck trim... For a recurring customer. No thanks. Lost my business for sure, I went over to SPORTSCLIPS and they did it for free and even trimmed around my ears and side burns... Never going back to Greatclips they forever lost a customer...

I usually go to great clips for my haircuts and trims, and they usually do a good job with my hair. However, my last visit was very disappointing. A lady named Bukola did my hair at the Rockwall location near Target. I asked specifically for a trim (2 inches cut off) and if she would part it in the middle before she cut. First, she never parted my hair until the end of the session, when she was done. Second, she gave me layers that I absolutely did not want. I never requested layers and she never asked if I wanted them. Very disappointed with the fact that she does not listen and proceeded to do whatever SHE wanted to do with MY hair.

I like Great Clips, but like all such places, its good to identify a single person who cuts your hair well - then return to that specific person each time. Regarding the establishment overall, I will say that its wise to buy a $50 card from them which discounts each visit (if youre confident youll be returning to Great Clips again and again). Oh and be sure to check in online before you leave home to avoid a wait.

I have been going to this Great Clips for 10 years or more. Some stylists are very good, some are not. Some talk to you, some dont even speak to you and like most people these days; they are disconnected and dont really listen to you or really look at you. Fran was an excellent stylist but she is gone. I have used all of them more than once and I hate to say it, but this salon is not what it used to be.

i have been going there for 2 years and they been going down hill lately. the oriental(manager) lady was really rude, i asked her how long the wait would be and she said sit down, and i asked her again and 3 said i dont know 3 min shooo all rd.ude. and swated her hand out and made her eye brows all funny, so now i wont go there anymore. i sugest to go to a diffrent great clipps if you have a coupon.

My daughter always goes there for her Hair Cuts and LOVES them!! The professionals are a shot in the dark and you never know who you will get though!! Someone new every time!! :) My only Negative is they are WORSE than Car Salesmen with PUSHING their shampoos and Conditioners!! LOL!! Yep!! Its a great price too!! And theres always coupons in the paper!! Not bad!!

We had a good experience with Maricella. She was friendly and great with my 4 yr old son. The place is clean. We were greeted upon arrival. All other hair stylists spoke great English (this was a complaint on the reviews). We will go back. You can check in online. We waited only a minute or so.

My child just received one of the worst haircuts of his life. Maybe there was a language barrier between the stylist and myself. I asked for a fohawk and she might of thought I said fugly. I would not recommend this place unless you dont mind waiting for your hair to grow back.

I think if I had cut my own hair at home with toe nail clippers I would have done a better job. The lady confused a number 2 hair cut and made it a number 1 after cutting only half of my hair I had to remind her about the other side. Very Disappointed!

I received the worst hair cut I ever had. I had to go to a different barber shop to have them fix my hair. I would never go back. Do not go and waste you money.
