In reading the other reviews, I feel compelled to add an honest review. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this business. I purchased two refurbished laptops from these gentlemen that have been working perfectly since December of 2014. Any questions I have had or additional support needed was given freely with all courtesy and professionalism. And when I broke my Iphone screen, I went directly back to Rowlett Computer Repair. I am not at all worried about paying up front; in the world we live in, it just seems like a smart small businessman who would have such a policy. I received my cell phone back in a timely fashion, and have been very happy ever since. Also, the cost was always within the realm of what I expected. By all means do your homework, and once youve done that, take your business to RCR. And after you go and have an extraordinary experience like mine, come here and leave a review. I know there are more people like me who have had a great experience with Rowlett Computer Repair. We shouldnt forget to tell people when theyve done a good job, and for my part, I am very happy.

After interviewing several Dallas area computer service providers ranging from corporate to small, we decided upon Dean and his associates at Rowlett Computer Services. With the need for a complex computer network in a large medical-oriented office, our decision was contigent upon many typical considerations such as knowledge, professionalism, and cost of service. Dean exhibited a refreshing exception to all other competing companies we interviewed. His honest, straight-shooting personality and the robust leg-work he has done to make sure the appropriate plan was designed and implemented has been nothing less than impressive. There has been much attention to detail and nuances that most simply wouldnt consider. A computer project as large as ours is an ongoing and, as Dean describes it, an "organic" process. Therefore, change and challenges will inevitably arise, but we have complete confidence in our ongoing partership. Thanks to Rowlett Computer Services for helping us with this endeavor!

After using Rowlett Computer Repair, I feel compelled to write a review for the company. I brought in a laptop that had been melted by a 2 year old. I figured it was all but lost, but it was not. The owner ordered the parts necessary to replace the melted parts and replaced them in a timely manner. I was lucky he was able to save the battery that was part of the melting mishap. In addition to the replacement of parts, he did a virus clean up and worked on the operating system, which was definitely needed since my husband does so much shopping on line and playing poker without any virus software. He also put a set of tools on his computer to avoid as many virus issues in the future. I could not be happier with their service. In addition to the laptop I had fixed, I have brought in tablets to repair jacks and as always they were fixed and ready to use quickly. Thank you everyone at Rowlett Computer Repair for all of your help and guaranteed you will always be my computer fix-it pro.

I took my computer in for repair and told them I dont know anything about computers and didnt really know what was wrong with it. I had to pay in advance for repairs. They fried my computer and would not get any of my money back and found out that the only thing that was wrong with my computer was my monitor was out. My wife and I plugged her computer to my monitor and that is how I found out nothing was wrong with the computer. I ended up out of pocket $300.00 dollars our of pocket for them to blow up my computer and another $1,000.00 to buy a new computer. That I bought at best buy. I will never recommend them to anyone and would never take anything back to them in the future. I hope for ripping me off I hope they go out of business.

To sum up my ability to maintain a phone, Edwin knows me by name and is always chuckling when he sees my truck pull into the parking lot.... Hands down, I have always received the absolute best customer service here. Edwin is knowledgeable, understanding that my phone is critical to my career, and has always repaired my phone in an expedient manner. Dropped off 2 laptops. One infected and the other had fan issues. Upfront pricing, discount added to stay on price point. Great service my kids are glad to have them back so quickly. I would recommend them to any one looking for repair or service. I dont know a whole lot about computer repair, but I walked out feeling good. No like the last place that left me feeling screwed.
