I had my S7 repaired on Sat Nov19. I was satisfied with the repair until Nov 23 when the screen froze up and it was phantom typing (sent this message to ICare that morning) "Just wanted to let you know of an issue i had with my phone this morning that has never happened before I had it repaired. I was tryin got enter my workout into fitbit app the phone didnt recognize what letters I was using in fact it was selecting its own letters like someone was using method of draggin finger over keyboard instead of typing. I couldnt back out of the ap nor could I push the button to bring up all aps to close it. If iwas able to delete what was entered and try to type it the letters I was entering were not what was showing on the entry. I tried shutting the phone off and restarting but when I pushed restart button to confirm the restart the button just went back like I hadnt pressed it. Finally after about 5 minutes it started responding to what I was trying to get it to do." Received this response " It sounds as if the digitizer is glitching. That has happened before in rare cases. If it continues, please bring the phone by and well swap the screen assembly for a different one. Im sorry that youre experiencing issues. I was leaving for the holiday and during that time the phone screen started to go black and was useless by the end of the Thanksgiving day. (%days after repair). I was not able to get back to Fargo until one week after it glitched out. At this time the tech in looking at the screen noted a crack (under the screen protector I had applied the day of the first repair) and phones dont go bad unless they are damaged. Due to the presence of the crack I was not entitled to the warranty replacement . I was given a 25.00 discount off the second repair so paid approx $500 in 1 1/2 weeks to have a working phone. The repair I paid for was replacement of the glass screen as well as the Digitizer. Feel as the second repair should have been 1/2 price as there was no crack when it froze up 4 days after the first repair. But I couldnt prove that Lesson learned dont have phone repair done if you are not going to be able to go back for warranty coverage immediately so dont have done before a holiday if possible. And dont be lured in by the warranty, if there is any sign of a crack it is void for screen replacement. And I received a long message detailing why that is the case as this and that can happen. Seriously though if you have a repair done and report an issue with the repair they should look deeper if there is a crack rather than broad stroke off any warranty coverage. It is technology and parts can be weak damaged and not show up right away when they do there cks on items. Save your money if that is why you are picking them for the warranty on screen replacement.

I was throroughly impressed with iCare, my phone wouldnt charge and I didnt want to have to buy a new phone. My husband found iCare through googling "phone repair fargo". They were friendly, cheaper than I expected and turn around time was relatively quick. I would definitely go back there if I have any issues in the future, and I appreciate their 90 day warranty on their work. Update 3/16/2015- My phone started having the same issue with not charging, so I dropped my phone off when they opened on 3/11, I didnt hear anything back for a few days so I called Saturday morning, and at first they couldnt even find my phone. They called back a few minutes later, stated it was on their managers desk. They said they needed to order a part and it would be done early the next week. I surprisingly got a call that it was ready Monday afternoon. I came to pick up my phone and the clerk started in about my SD card, and that I would need to go to Sprint and have them reactivate it. I just said okay, and thank you and left. I was confused about what he was talking about since I only went in for a charging port repair. I get into my car, turn my phone on and the phone is wiped clean, and acting like its a brand new phone. I go back in very confused, and starting to get upset by now. He comes back over and starts talking about an IME, and they had to replace the whole board, since the charging port was unrepairable. I honestly had no idea what he was even talking about. I couldnt even make a phone call with the phone. I came to iCare because I DONT know much about technology. When someone talks to me in technology jargon I have no idea what they are talking about. I was very upset, when I asked why they didnt even call me to let me know this is what they needed to do, he stated to me, well we do the best we can with what we have. What does that even mean?? Call me and let me know that you are going to delete my entire phone, give me the option to come get and seek other fixes. If I had known they were going to do what they did, I would not have let them do it. I lost pictures, text messages, contacts, and all apps I had downloaded. I know its my responsibility to back up my device, but dont just do something like that without the owners permission. I will never be going back there.

I have had iCare Wireless Repair replace shattered screens on 2 iPhone 5cs. One was in July 2015 and November 2015. Both times I called ahead to check their prices and if they would be able to do same day repair. Each time they had the screen in stock and were able to repair the screens within 2 hours. The technician explained the time frame due to how many techs were available and how many phones were waiting ahead of mine. Very practical. The phones still work great and the price was the best in town. Technicians were helpful and knowledgeable. Only complaint would be this: when I had the phone screen fixed in July, they talked me into adding a screen protector, one that they would install. It was not worth the money at all. (I can compare this service "apples to apples" with the Wireless Cart at West Acres Mall where I also had an iPhone 5c screen replaced also. Still trying to get them to get it right. I wish I would have taken this phone to iCare Wireless repair). December update: I took another iPhone 5c to be repaired at iCare. The one that another place refused to fix correctly, but at least gave me a refund after several phone calls...see above review. Anyway, thanks to iCare, that phone is working perfectly. iCare fixed the screen and also the headphone jack. Regarding the headphone jacke: The tech called me and stated that the headphone jack was bad and wanted to know if I would like that repaired also. I wondered if he was just trying to get me to get something "extra" done, but he wasnt kidding. My daughter confirmed that it was bad. Thanks guys for checking out the phone for other issues and not ripping me off. SO MUCH APPRECIATED.
