***Consumer BEWARE*** Wow, you guys got me good on this one! Last night while attending A holiday event with my family in Richardson I lost the keys to my truck. I called this company today because I thought it was the same one I used twice over a year ago, looks like scammers bought the name out. Rafael was the owner when I used them and at the time he was a 1-2 man operation. When asking for Rafael, I received the typical "Hes no longer with the company." I called this afternoon to have them pop the lock AND MAKE A REPLACEMENT KEY! I have my friend drop me off at my truck in the cold to meet the guy, he pops the lock and charges me 95$! AFTER TAKING MY CARD PAYMENT, he tells me he cant make keys, so the office is going to call me to send the guy who makes keys. He leaves and minutes later I get a call saying the key guy is busy on other jobs and wont be available until tomorrow! There I am stranded in the cold with an unlocked truck, but no key to drive it, and out 95$ for the unlock. I am guessing I was supposed lock my truck again and schedule another appointment tomorrow for another unlocking fee of 95$ plus a charge for them to make a key. The guy on the phone refused to refund my money as his service was of no help, then hung up on me. I have a feeling they prey on people like this quite often. I proceeded to call Lock-Doc and they came out to make a key for a fair price. I asked the tech what they charge to pop a lock and he said 65$. The recent reviews appear to be fake, as they are short, bland, and most of the people have only reviewed this company. Good job guys, I hope you all can sleep at night knowing you pulled a quick one on a combat veteran that served to protect your freedom to scam people in this very way. Consumers, STAY AWAY from this company!

This company is completely dishonest and their technicians will take advantage of your situation and milk you for every penny you got. I called for service to get a key made to my rental car at 2:00pm. I gave them the year, make, & model of the vehicle including the key code so they could quote me a price. I was quoted a price of $20 for the service call and $125.00 for the key. They told me that the technician needed to pick the key up and wouldnt be able to get to me until 7:00pm that evening. The technician arrived at 9:00pm and quoted me $400.00. I told him what the office quoted me and he said that they were wrong. He broke down the base price as $15.00 for the service call, $245.00 for the key, and $150+ for programming. I was not advised about any kind of programming fee when I called. In addition to that, he had an entire pack of keys that I needed. I am not sure why the office said he needed to pick up the key. After the technician got done, he also made a 2nd key of which I did not ask for and charged me an additional cost of $29.00. What was supposed to be a $150.00 job (at most) turned out to be a $500.00 job. I waited 7 hours for a technician. When he finally came out, he knew that I was in a dire position where I wouldnt be able to get another technician out to me that night; and I had no choice but to go with his quote because I needed to drive back to Houston the next morning. I am a single parent traveling with my 3 children and he milked my situation. When I asked about the quote from the office, he told me to take it or leave it and that he would just charge me the $20.00 service call fee. As he wrote out my receipt, he offered to take $25.00 off the bill if I gave him cash. This guy was a complete crook!!!

Worse customer service ever. Beginning with rep who answered the phone, to the sarcastic condescending tech they sent. When you initially call in youre not told what pricing to expect as its based on the situation, and the techs discretion - Completely understandable. When the tech arrives and tells you the ridiculous price, you will also at that time find out they charge a fee of $15 to even send a tech out.- Also understandable, but something the rep could have told me on the phone, definitely not something I have to wait for the tech to surprise me with when hes here, and you have no choice. In my specific situation, my tech started at a "firm company price" but when I decided not to move forward, somehow he was able to haggle that price down a couple different numbers. While its great that he offered lower bids, I do not appreciate the dishonesty. To top it off the unprofessionality of being told -"Now youre just being prideful" when my spouse called and told me he found another option. Keep in mind I am a person who works too, I understand how businesses are ran, and throughout the entire interaction I made your tech aware that it was not hes fault, and that they should have told me before they gave him the call; I was extremely adamant about paying the $15 show up fee, because again - not his fault. But they way your company handled this, and the way your tech treated a customer is unacceptable.

These guys are SHADY. I lost my only set of keys to my house several months ago. They came out and replaced both of my locks with matching locks so I could use the same key for front and back doors. He says the locks are SCHLAGE (a quality brand) and come out of a SCHLAGE box - but now that I am closely looking at them they are Premier lock - some cheap brand? He charged WAY more than I was quoted over the phone, saying oh that only covered service call, and your locks were no good I had to replace them etc.. The guy was intimidating and I was alone so I paid it. I found out later he charged me triple the normal price. Now suddenly I cant get out of my house. Neither lock is opening. They just spin. So I call them back. Guy on the phone (who sounds exactly like the locksmith that came out - but claims he is not) is rude. "How long ago did we come out (Several months ago.) We only cover 90 days. We can come out again but we have to charge you." Sarcastically says he will let his manager know I have a complaint. Seriously. Thanks. But no thanks.

BUYER BEWARE!! Wish I could list NO STARS. Im a manager for a business and was out of town several months back when my employees were stuck outside the building, unable to open our lock. They Googled for help and unfortunately AAA 24/7 came up (wish we had read the REVIEWS before calling them). They charged several hundred dollars to REKEY the lock but it has NEVER worked right. We tried calling multiple times and an answering service picked up, but no return calls. The service even scheduled an appointment for 10/13 at 8am and no-show or call. It was still a rough lock, but since we could lock and unlock, and couldnt get them to return our call, we let things slide. TODAY, we cant lock our building and NOW we can get the owner on the phone but he claims its past the 30-day warranty and will not help. He doesnt seem to care about BBB claims or unhappy customers. BUYER BEWARE!
