I’m a VERY SATISIFIED customer!!!! My story is this: I own a 2003 Honda Pilot and I love my car but I had been having problems with getting my key into my ignition. I would have to wiggle the key for a long time sometimes up to 1 hour before I could get it into the ignition. I took my car to the Honda dealership and was quoted an outrageous amount to have it fixed. So, I left the dealership thinking "what am I going to do now"? I was very discouraged. After calling a mobile auto repair person that I have used for other issues on my vehicle, I was still in the same boat. The auto repair person tried very hard but got to a point and could not figure out the problem. So, a friend of mine mentioned calling a mobile locksmith. I got online and called several mobile locksmith businesses to get quotes. I then made a decision to go with a certain mobile locksmith. I must say all of the quotes were very similar so I just chose one that I remembered feeling comfortable with on the phone. Next, I spoke with the scheduling personnel who was a very pleasant man and made an appointment. He sent out the technician the next morning as I requested. Samuel, the technician, called me before he left to come to my house and explained how Honda ignitions are very hard to work on and we discussed the prices I had gotten from the dealership to repair my problem. He seemed very professional and knowledgeable on the phone about Honda ignitions and I felt very comfortable with our conversation. We had also discussed all of my options that I had to fix the problem. I decided to have Samuel come on to my home. He was very cordial when he arrived and got right to business. Samuel would also show me what he was doing at certain times during his repair. Also, he filled out the invoice before he started working on my ignition which I certainly appreciated because there were NO SURPRISES in the end. No big bill that I was not going to be aware of. I am soooo happy that I chose S.A. Locksmith & Security to repair my ignition key problem. Samuel was pleasant, kind, and got the job done. I also understand that he is one of the only locksmiths in San Antonio that understand Honda Ignition problems. Samuel was definitely a Godsend!!! Thank you Samuel and S,A. Locksmith & Security. Thumbs up to you.

The lock on the front door of our office building jammed on a Sunday night, and we werent able to access the building. I called S.A. Locksmith & Security, and the dispatcher told me that a locksmith would be calling within a short time. She quoted a price of $15 for the call and $40 for the unlocking. About 15-20 minutes later, we got a call, and a young man in a white van showed up shortly. It took him less than a minute to open the door, sliding a knife-like tool between the door and door jamb (wish we would have thought of that--would have saved us $152.00). He told us the lock was old, rusted, and no good any more, and offered to replace it for $250 plus $150 labor; and if it jammed, it might run up to $600. We politely declined. He filled out the invoice (#813790--just so you know this is not a competitor writing a phony review), and we were shocked to see that he charged us $152.00 for less than 5 minutes work. The next day, we called our regular locksmith, Accurate Lock & Key, which is owned by a retired policeman. He told us that there really wasnt anything wrong with the front door lock, but replaced it anyway, and re-keyed two other locks to match. He worked for two hours and charged us less than $150. He suggested that if we ever had a lockout after hours, we should call Access Key & Security. Wish wed known.... UPDATE, September 16: I received a call from the owner of S.A. Locksmith & Security last Friday. He left a message on my phone, saying that he was concerned that we werent satisfied with the service, and that he would try reaching me again the following Wednesday. Sure enough, I heard from him today, as promised. He asked what he could do to make it right. I told him that a $50 refund would bring the price we paid for an after-hours lockout to a more reasonable $100, and that we would be quite satisfied with that. Instead, he refunded our credit card for $95, which he said would match the price we were quoted over the phone. He apologized for the incident and said that the young man who came out wasnt following their company policy and should have told us upfront what the charge would be. We appreciate Mr. Krigels prompt attention and his taking care of the matter. Hes obviously a responsible business owner.

I was told 35.00 plus 1-15 for fuel. I was told $100 even when he arrived 15 minutes later than he said. I feel very taken advantage of in the pricing scheme. They need to be more realistic with their upfront prices. Would not recommend. They also got my Louisiana address mixed up with a Texas address. Guess it shows how well they pay attention. I now was just solicited via my personal social media account for me to please remove my review from their company as it was inaccurate. They said the charges I received were not accurate. I have a receipt for these charges. Although each specific may not have been listed I was explained the cost by the technician and these were what he told me caused the price. I also was informed I got the business wrong. I used google maps to find the locksmith and from their dial the number from within the app meaning I had the place I used saved. Which in turn means I could not have possibly reviewed the wrong business. Mr. Henrick Krigel (the person contacting me) for all I know the technician was acting outside of what he was assigned to do and took advantage of the situation without your companies knowledge. I do know though unsolicited contact like this for me to remove a review is against policy for how both of these programs work as well as a violation of the EULA attached. I will be filing a complaint with the aforementioned entities and will be pursuing it further if contacted about this again. I was taken advantage of by the number and those connected to it plain and simple. Will not be using your company again and do not wish to be contacted again. My review stands and should I change it upon a companies request what is the value of sharing a review or opinion. Against I have a receipt with your letterhead and this address on it so I know it was this business unless your "competitor" is using one of your receipt books.

This company is overcharging for their services. I owned my own locksmith business and I know how the pricing goes. This company wanted to charge me twice as much as I ended up paying for my emergency. I had locked my office key inside the office. I called and requested a quote to open the door, the person on the phone told me it would not be more than $65 dollars, with a minimum of $25 for the call. When their rep, who was not friendly, looked like he just woke up with wrinkled clothing and his hair a mess, showed up at my house. He took a look at the lock and then proceed to hand me an invoice for $100.00; I told him that I had been quoted $65, he said no, its going to be $100; I called the office to clarify the discrepancy between the two quotes. Their office told me it would be however much the rep wanted. I asked the rep to leave, I was not going to pay $100. for what I had been quoted a more reasonable amount of $65. It is a illegal business practice to quote something on the phone and then double the amount when the rep arrives. I found Pop-a-Lock, great people they quoted $49.99 for opening the door and they were professional in their demeanor and presentation. If in your gut you feel you are being swindled by a locksmith dont give them your money, because you are enabling them to be thieves.
