DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They lie. They do not return phone calls. They damaged my computer that I brought them for repair. I took my imac computer to them for repair. In triaging the computer, they determined that the motherboard needed to be replaced. They ordered a motherboard, and the problem still existed, and I was told they were shipped a faulty motherboard. This is where they simply stopped returning phone calls. They said they werent sure that the company who shipped the motherboard was going to take it back, and they didnt want to do anything further on my computer. Convinced that they could not fix my computer, I said I was just going to pick it up. I picked it up, paid a fee, and took the computer to the Genius Bar at Apple. I learned through them, that the computer not been put back together correctly. The hard drive wasnt even in it, the hard drive clip was missing, components of the hard drive were broken, the power source hasnt been hooked up (it wouldnt even power on. It powered on just fine when I dropped it off to them). Weird wires were sticking out of ports, and the USB ports did not line up with the holes for them. After I discovered all the problems with the computer that incurred during its time at Computer Nerdz, I called and talked to Phil at the Austin location. He said he talked to the San Antonio manager who agreed to refund the money. The refund never came through. When i asked about it, I was told that they decided not to refund the money...without even telling me. They said they "didnt want to accrue any further costs in fully reassembling a computer that would not have worked no matter how it was put together." If that was the case, I should have been told. Either way, whether or not they were going to fully re-assemble it or not, damage should not have been made to internal parts, and ALL internal parts should have been returned to me. They believe the $59 charge was fair, and I do not agree since they actually did damage to internal components of my computer. This company is not transparent. They lied and told me that they backed up my hard drive when they didnt, and I was told their policy is "your drive, your data." I was never told this. In fact, Randy assured me several times that he backed up my data. They literally shoved things back in my computer hastily when they knew I was going to pick it up, showing no pride in workmanship and showing no integrity. Apple was able to successfully repair my computer, and I incurred extra costs due to damage that they did while they had my computer.

Phil called me to let me know the results of the diagnostics on my computer. He kept referencing my Mac. I brought in an Asus. After going over the plan, he told me that my computer would be ready to pick up that afternoon. I was unable to pick it up that day and went to get it the next day. I was met with confusion by the 3 men in the office and they had trouble locating my laptop. They found it and brought it to the front counter. It was in 3 pieces. "Didnt you get our message? Did you want to (fix the issue)?" Notes were left by Phil, but apparently, he is from the Austin location and didnt verbally relay what was to be done with my computer. I am really not thrilled with my experience and recommend going somewhere else for your computer related repairs. They dont seem to be able to communicate well with each other and it is the customers who pay the price.

I am a first and last time customer. Took over a month to get my laptop back. I had to call constantly to check on it and was always told they would call me back. I NEVER received ANY calls back EVER.. The only way I even found out that my laptop was even "Finished" was because I kept calling back. Im really upset and disappointed in the customer service and communication. I will not be coming back! I suggest that if you have a second option for your computer repairs that you go with your other option. I wished I had something positive to say. :(

Sebastian is a kind, honest, professional man. Nothing but great things to say about him! He was consistent and transparent in his communication with me and walked me through the issue with my dead laptop. He was able to diagnose the issue, repair it, and then have it back in my hands within 24 hours. I cant recommend this man enough. Electronic troubles are the worst but if they happen to you, Sebastian is your guy. Very reasonably priced, as well!

Randy, showed and took charge. I had an Outlook problem with sync that had been annoying for a long period as well as other problems. He was able resolve all problems and improve overall situation I would recommend them to any looking for help. I have been a repeat user of their services. By the way he was not a “Nerd” and he had excellent communications skills. Greg Asvestas - San Antonio

Awful service. Their prices are ridiculous, they dont require any training from their technicians, and their staff is constantly changing. The owner/manager will negotiate with you, but only to his own self-satisfied standard of beneficence. Bring your computer here if youd like it tinkered with by untrained "professionals" and youre a fan of being insulted.
