I recently lost my husband of almost 10 years, I was at a loss for words. My family and I dreaded having to look for an establishment because we felt that no one would be good enough to handle my love. Out of all the funeral homes we looked into, D.W. Brooks managed to change my mind. I can be very meticulous and indecisive to say the least. With that being said, Danny, the director, went above and beyond to ensure that everything was exactly how I envisioned it. Their approach is far from the typical systematic routine, which is clearly evident through their efforts. Danny helped me through the whole process and made sure that everything was done correctly the first time. They genuinely love helping families in need and they were always available for anything we needed. Although this time has been extremely difficult for my family and I, D.W. Brooks helped us through it. My husband was transported back to Florida effortlessly looking sharp with his military pins and our nations flag covering him as it should be. I couldnt be happier with the diligent services we were provided. Genuinely good customer service makes all the difference when you are already grieving over a loss. Thank you so much for your hard work, dedication, support, and honesty through this very important process. Their actions reassured me that respectable local businesses do still exist, all they need is a chance. Give them an opportunity to help you. I am truly thankful that D.W. Brooks Funeral Home were so accommadating to all of our needs. They did a Wonderful job & even let us do my Mothers makeup for her funeral. My Nana was the one who recommended them since they were so accommadating twenty-five years ago, when they did her Mothers funeral. I am just so thankful because every other funeral home wanted money upfront. But D.W. Brooks Funeral Home were able to do a funeral assignment. They even dealt with my Mothers life insurance company so we didnt have to stress anymore than what we already were. Brooks Funeral Home did a great job for my family. I didnt know what to expect but they were able to answer all of my questions and be very helpful with my planning needs. There is nothing like being unprepared. Both Danny and Danzel were very professional and assisted my family with life insurance and pre burial plans. What was even better was they accomodated me by coming to my home, and they exuded professionalism. They didnt make me feel pressured and educated me on the process.
