I had a terrible experience at this location. Ive never colored my brunette hair before but wanted to try a subtle ombré/balayage color. I even brought in a picture of what I was looking for. Instead of a natural, fresh and modern look...lets just say I did not get the quality color service I expected. I called the next morning for a fix, and the stylist agreed to correct the problem. It made a minor improvement, but still wasnt Regis quality and didnt even remotely resemble the look I was trying to achieve. I filled out the customer service survey online to report my experience, and a district manager contacted me within 24hours! Arrangements were made with a stylist at the Northstar Mall location to ensure I would be happy with my hair (free of additional charge), and I was assured staff at La Cantera would take classes on new techniques so that the same issue wouldnt reoccur. Ultimately the second stylist that corrected my hair color did a fantastic job, and I was so impressed with the Regis brand for responding to customer feedback so efficiently. Im beyond thrilled with the cut and color that Mikey at the Northstar Mall location did for me, and so impressed with Regis Salon...but after my initial experience, Im not so confident in the stylists at the La Cantera location.

I had a horrible experience! Requested a master stylist assuming they know what theyre doing and wouldnt mess up my hair. Wrong! I went in with a picture the stylist looked at once and kept asking me questions how I wanted my hair. Then when I brought it up they said its ok and kept chopping my hair. I had to stop the guy. Well I ended up with choppy uneven layers when I asked for soft long layers. I also have a very awkward choppy long bang...not long. Wasnt supposed to pass my chin I said. But now it has a short layer at my cheek bone. Now Im going elsewhere to get it corrected as much as it can be. Im so upset and sad as it took me a long time to grow out my hair.

So i dont like to leave poor reviews but people should be warned before visiting. I asked for light brown, specified I didnt want red undertones. I already had light brown that I had done at a salon previously but am new to SA and in search of a salon. I needed my roots to match the rest, granted hair had grown so my roots were 1 in. My hair was orange, closer to strawberry blonde!! I paid 170, it was horrible.Left a tip and said thank you, but I ended up going to have it redone. The stylist looked at me once he was done and said atleast its not green! What?? He was nice enough but how could let me leave with orange hair when I asked for light brown? Not ok.

This place absolutely sucks!! Ive came back and it gets worse each time! On my last visit i came in with a photo to which the stylist began asking me 10000474 questions about where i wanted the length, how it wouldnt look like the photo, how long i wanted it in the front... I asked him if he could just follow the picture as a guide for length.. He said he didnt know how my hair would look dry??? Absolutely absurd ive never ever have had this kind of experience with any real professional. This sealed the deal for me i will never return here! I shouldve walked out after all their questions they obviously have no experience whatsoever.

Okay this place is totally unprofessional. The stylist are kinda odd looking and you would think the hair game would be off the chain but its NOT! All the stylist look pretty random with midioquer hair. Really Nothing SPECIAL! Cain seems like he knows what hes doing. He cut my hair and it came out fine not totally textured the way Id like but for the most part the way he styled and curled it was cute. Im going back next month to see if he can kick it up a notch.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience getting a haircut with Dirk! I was a walk-in client/ no appointment...on a Sunday, and I was welcomed with a very gracious experience.
