My wife called this company, because she had worked with the owners wife some years ago. We had a leak in a fresh water pipe that was built into a slab in an older house. A plumber and helper came in for two 3-4 hour sessions, cutting away wallboard to view the pipes, and then spending several hours on a guess that it was a cold line. Turns out it was a hot line, which probably could have been discovered by turning off each line to check for continued leak. Bill at the conclusion was about $145 an hour for plumber and helper. Seems somewhat high, especially with concern that it could have been determined quicker. Then they gave a quote for running a replacement line. The quote of $1500 seemed high, but I didnt know what they had to do to run the replacement line. It turns out that the same two guys took less than three hours to run a line through the attic. They refused to give any breakdown of time or costs. I guess they "saw us coming" in this situation. Well, it will be our last time to call this company. There was a suggestion from them of calling somebody else to get a different quote. Sounds like they knew they were excessive. However, the problem with having two different companies in on a project is that if something goes wrong, then each company will blame the other, and neither will take responsibility. Therefore, once Tietze crew started we were stuck with that company.

Had my pressure regulator valve replaced for low water pressure. Was given a quote over the phone and that is exactly what I was charged. James called me 30 minutes prior to showing up as promised and was there on time. He was a nice guy explained what he would do and how long it would take; he confirmed the price for the work. James completed the work on time, made sure everything was good, and explained what he did. Very happy with the service.

Great Plumbing Company! I hired Tietze Plumbing to take care of issues my mother was having with the pipes in her older home. They worked diligently to fix athe broken pipes and other leaks. Everything is running great now. Their staff was friendly and their prices were fair. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called at 1230pm about having a toilet installed. Made an appointment for 1:30. Plumber arrived on time, removed the old toilet and installed the new one in under 1hr. The price was right and the service great. Thanks, Tietze!

Did a good job fixing the toilet. But, $300 for 10 minutes of work just to replace the insides of the toilet and a valve knob? Yeah, not again!
