I took my vehicle in to the Washtub 3009 a few days ago for the first time. I did not know how the whole process worked so I pulled over and asked for assistance. I was spoken to immediately by the manager and he explained everything in detail so that when I got up to the attendants I knew exactly what I needed done to my vehicle. There are several options for what you may be needing cleaned in or outside on the vehicle. After taking my three children out of the van and into the cool building, I was pleasantly surprised by how much seating was available and options to purchase or browse other merchandise in the store area to keep you busy while you waited. There is also a covered porch area with picnic tables right outside the building with a great breeze. The wait was very minimal; approximately 15 minutes (and they were super busy) when I told my vehicle was ready. Once I did a walk-around on the vehicle I was concerned about a long white scuff mark on the passenger rear side of the black van. I voiced my concerns to manager Fernando and was told they looked at the camera footage and found that they were not responsible for the scuff but would polish and buff it out as much as they could so that I may return in the future. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I returned to my vehicle to find they had gotten the scuff out completely. I was absolutely satisfied with the results of the exterior wash and buff that my vehicle received. I will definitely return in the future because of the great customer service and attention to detail when given the opportunity to make things right!! Thanks Washtub!

I have been a member with the washtub since 2010 and yes they do a good job. My only complaint is make sure you know about every little thing about your vehicle. My front grill got scratched up and they lied like they didnt do it but it happened there. One of the workers told me exactly what happened and thats what I thought happened. I wouldnt lie and they know me better than that. I continued to go there after I cancelled my membership because I really like the guy who cleans my truck. I went there today because I dont hold any grudges but they half did my vehicle. They called my name to say they were finished but they did a horrible job because the manager will not let the guy who normally does it continue it. I guess he mad about the whole situation but this is all business. So after what happened today my membership got cancelled and I am very okay with that because to keep dealing with their lies is getting to the extreme. God didnt stop building car washes when the washtub got built!! If you are going to repeat something someone say please say it word for word correctly!!!! Please dont add any lies!! Overall they does a good job for as cleaning your vehicle and if not to your satisfaction they will have someone to fix it but make sure you check your vehicle before leaving!!!

As far as the basic wash goes, its good, but the interior vacuuming and wipe down could use some tweaking. Most of the time big stuff gets left in the cracks between the door and my seats, and they dont really get much wiped down on my console etc. I guess you dont get a thorough cleaning job unless you pay for the detailing service? Overall it comes out cleaner than before and the exterior is always pristine, even without the extra wheel brightener they always ask about. I cant complain. Employees are always super nice and will even go back and re-do wiping spots if asked. I just wish the vacuum station area did a better job sometimes. The inside of the waiting area has donuts occasionally (I think Sunday mornings) and the employees outside and inside are all polite and courteous. Cant fault their merchandise choices, either...cute stuff...I am always having to resist buying something awesome! Overall 4/5 stars. Good value for the service inside the waiting area and friendly staff, interior vacuum and wipe-down could be better.

To be fair to this business, overall the vehicle was fairly clean, but the devils in the details. When the description of service clearly states that you "dust the dashboard," and it is one of the many things that is clearly not done... it leaves one to wonder how will the rest of the service was performed. Upon further inspection of the vehicle I found that two of the door handles were clearly missed and there is a very large area around the license plate that was not cleaned at all. This was virtually ignored by the individuals who are drying/detailing the vehicle. I dont expect your automated car wash to achieve perfect results, but you need to clean up after it. Its a white car, it will show you plainly Id you "missed a spot." If I wasnt given a coupon book to this car wash, I would not bring it my business in the future. To The Wash Tub management: If you want to fix this please contact me Ill hold on to the receipt.

April 14 2015, Getting worse! As good as it gets in San Antonio, but, not that good! All the newer Technology says do not do these car washes, your paint will get scratched by the overuse of dirty towels and the dirty cleaning fabric in the Wash itself! Touches is much better and you get rain x sprayed on which is a plus! That being said, I get free washes for a year, at that rate all my paint will be gone! Today was awful! Vehicle still dirty and that is after I made them go over it again! Couple that with the fact that in Phoenix at Dannys Car Wash, gas station and lube, the highest priced wash, like Wash Tub is only $19.95 And they have a covered area for the kids drying the car! They do an excellent job and the inside sells snacks, all kinds of drinks, auto accessories and a plush seating area! Why is it that San Antonio companies are always half assed and greedy?

Ive been coming to this washtub for years, but this last visit was the worst ever! Never going back again! Haha and they wanted to sell me membership... Yeah ahhh NO! I had to walk around my car and point everything out to the guy as you can tell he was frustrated as I was pointing things out to him. He hadnt even wiped off the numbers that they wrote on my window but yet he called me over that my car was ready? So as he finished I got into my car.... then I see my dashboard all full of dust. I was like really!?!? Smh u turned and had him wipe it off. This is not the customers job to have to do this. So after that I went across the street to Walmart and bought some armorall wipes and cleaned it myself. What a waste of $30.00 BUT NEVER AGAIN WASHTUB!

Very pleased. You can get as little or as much done as you like. Straight up clear explanation of what will be done. We can all make jokes about ditch diggers or car wash folks but most of the staff are young energetic and highly motivated folks who undoubtedly are using this superb business experience as a spring board on up to bigger and better. We have 3 cars and they have done great with 2 of those. The 3rd vehicle is stick shift which only my wife drives. It is actually white but now looks grey. Time to have her get it in to the Washtub. And the gift certificates are a great idea too for recognizing employees or others who might appreciate a good car cleaning.
